Sarah and fresh coat are a fantastic group of professionals. They did an exceptional job on both the interior and exterior of our home. There were some minor repairs which they also took care of. Any issues were quickly addressed. The quality and follow through was outstanding.

Sarah responded quickly, scheduled service, proposed an innovative solution that lowered our price, and ended up painting the whole ceiling (not just the patch) because she wanted the patch to be invisible. We liked her work so much we asked her to bid on another, larger project. It's hard to get responsive, professional contractors out in the Hill Country. She was both!

We contacted Sarah with Freshcoat West Austin and she showed up promptly on time and quickly gave us an estimate. We had obtained several other estimates and although Freshcoat was not the lowest we felt after talking to Sarah, her company was the right choice. We previously had a bad experience with kitchen cabinet painters when we built a house in Galveston and we did not want another bad job. The painters showed up on time every day and worked steadily to complete the job. Jerry, the lead painter, was very professional and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the finish. Our house was built in 1986 and it had stained oak cabinets. Jerry sprayed 3 coats of primer to remove the grain so we could have a smooth finish. Bart his co-worker who did sanding and texture was also great . We initially chose a hybrid paint product because it does not have as bad a smell / fumes as enamel but Sarah and Jerry recommended traditional enamel paint. They said the hybrid paints which use a water-oil formula had issues with not drying out properly. The job took longer than we thought (2 weeks) but we were ok with it as long as the job was done right. Freshcoat did not require a down payment and Sarah said no money was due until they were finished and we were satisfied. We would highly recommend Freshcoat West Austin.

Sarah, the owner, was prompt, professional, easy to contact and get a response from, flexible about changing work flow when task priorities changed, accurate with paint color. She very successfully dealt with horrible weather (rain/humid, freezing temperatures) almost the whole week with space heaters and a skilled craftsperson who had a "stop when today's projects are finished" perspective on when was quitting time. We were out of the house until their patch and paint work was finished. She did a great job of being organized with supplies and work assignments so there was no dead time due to avoidable conflicts or poor coordination. She was helpful in explaining her estimate and reviewing the insurance adjuster estimate. At the end of the job she was more than fair in billing for the work she did. She did not push for full or 90% payment up front which was a significant issue with the previous construction contractor. She gave good advice when asked or the situation warranted it. I am asking the remodeling contractors to use her for the wall and trim prep and paint portions of the remaining projects.

The job was good except that they did not get the floor co vered completely and when they sprayed painted paint got on the tile. The paint job looks great it was just the floor that was the only problem. I would hire them again. They were very nice and polite and we appreciated it very much.
