+ -1 moreWE HAD OVER $5,000 WORTH OF GUNS, JEWERLEY AND PERSONAL ITEMS, USING A SCAM THAT AS VIEWED ON 60 MINUTES, OCCURRED WITH OTHER UHAUL TRUCK RENTAL CENTERS. CHECK 60 MINUTES NEWS PROGRAM ABOUT THIS SAME MATTER.
Description of Work: WE RENTED A TRUCK FROM THE JACKSONVILLE, TX AREA. THEY GAVE US THE NAME OF INDEPENDENT HELPER (LANDLORDS SON & FRIEND), STATING THAT THEY HAD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. TWO YOUNGMEN CAME AND ASSIST IN MOVING, AND LOADING TRUCK. AS WE STEPPED AWAY TO VIEW WHAT TO MOVE NEXT, THESE INDIVIDUALS STOLE $ 5,000 WORTH OF ITEMS. WHEN WE STATED THAT WE WERE CALLING THE POLICE, THE UHAUL OFFICE LANDLORDS SON BECAME NERVOUS AND WANTED TO LEAVE. NOT FULLY UNDERSTANDING OUR LOSS, AND WHO DID WHAT. HE STAYED REASSURING US THAT WE WOULD FIND ALL OF IT, WHICH WE DID NOT. WE FILED A POLICE REPORT, BUT THE LANDLORD IS VERY CONNECTED IN THE "COMMUNITY". HEARING NOW THAT THIS SAME SITUATION HAS OCCURRED IN SEVERAL OTHER UHAUL TRUCK RENTAL LOCATIONS......RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!

+ -1 moreThey were good. I put a hundred miles on the truck that day. Their staff was very informative, very quick, and very helpful. It was a good price and they made it easy to rent one of their vehicles.
Description of Work: I used their rental truck services to move boxes.
