Contacted several contractors based on websites, Angie's List and other sites. Kirk called back quickly and after some discussion he came to my house on Saturday. He quoted the job and completed a detailed 3D design package. The installation is done by Kirk and his dedicated team - no temp workers. We have the best built, most beautiful pergola I have ever seen. All wood is stain & seal Red Cedar. All fasteners are specialty bolts, brackets and screws. NO NAILS. If you're looking for an excellent product at reasonable cost then you have only one choice. Timber Craft will build a custom product for you.

It was a fabulous experience from deck demo to detailed finish out. Perry takes so much pride in his work and it shows with every little detail. He and his crew were very communicative about everything they were doing and what we could expect. He made lighting suggestions that have turned out fantastic and the finished project is amazingly close to the CAD drawings he made. We love the new space and spend so much time out there now relaxing, cooking or having some drinks at the bar and watching a ball game with friends! I highly recommend Timber Craft to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living space.

I have dealt with several contractors in the past, but have never had the wonderful experience that I had with TimberCraft. Perry Kirk was without a doubt the best to work with on the building of the pavilion behind my house. His planning was done based on what I wanted. He did not come with his own agenda! He communicated throughout the entire process and was always there when he said he would be there. But most of all, his attention to detail is beyond what I ever imagined. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work, going above and beyond to make everything looked fabulous. If I ever have anything else built outside, hands down he will be my first contact. I cannot say enough about the final product and all of the “extras” that he included to completely finish off the pavilion. It will be enjoyed for a lifetime!

Weather delays aside, the project went extremely well. Kirk was actually the first contractor we talked to and my instincts told me he was the guy for the job. However, we wanted to do our due diligence and after speaking 3 additional contractors....we chose Kirk. His price was competitive and the planning process was more thorough and responsive than any other contractor we spoke to. We would have gotten the project done a whole month sooner if we had just trusted our initial instincts! Kirk far and away wins the prize for the most responsive and best communicating contractor that we have ever worked with. He always shows up when he says he is going to and he'll text you even if he is going to be 10 minutes late! His crew was a pleasure to work with, too (he is here with them most of the time...he is not just a salesman, he does a lot of the work too). They kept the job site clean and orderly......cleaning up at days end and putting everything away before they left each day. The quality of the workmanship is five star....we simply could not recommend him more highly. If you are looking for an outdoor contractor.....look no further....you can not go wrong choosing Timber Craft! P.S. One final thing I would say when you are planning a project...allow plenty of time ( a good 4 weeks) for getting approval from your Home Owners Association and your City Planners office.....It is important to be as up to speed as possible on all the requirements by your HOA and City so that your plans reflect all the details they need in your submission. Otherwise, you have to modify and resubmit and that eats up a lot of time.

Kirk and his team are amazing. From the first meeting to the final review, it was a perfect engagement. We picked three contractors from Angie's list and got three solid bids for our patio cover project. We liked all but Kirk had some good ideas and seemed to be very creative. He was not the least expensive of the three ( and really they were all very comparable), but his can-do spirit and the fact that he is the lead builder on the project just made him a perfect fit. They started the project on time. They showed up every day on time and finished on time. The three man crew were all very respectful of our property and cleaned up every day. We left the garage door open so they could store their gear since we had some rain days. The group kept everything neat and clean. Kirk called us every day to keep us apprised of his progress texting pictures of the daily work. He asked questions and worked with my husband on a few little issues (wiring we wanted to hide, etc.). Kirk also went above and beyond building two big surprises for us. We have a very ugly electrical box on one wall and we had been talking about ways to cover it up when we add the outdoor kitchen this spring. We did not ask Kirk to do anything but we came home and he built this gorgeous cabinet over it. It is incredible. And, on the last day, he took some of the scrap wood and built an amazing cedar table. He did not ask for anything and we were so humbled by his generosity. Who does that? Kirk and his team are craftsman who bring so much more than skill to their craft. They bring their spirit and love for their profession and it shows. This team redefines the word "contractor" and renews my faith in human spirit. If I could find a way to hire them again for other projects, I would in a second. But he keeps telling me he is outdoor only. We are going to reprioritize a few things and get him back out here to do some more outdoor work this spring. I cannot wait to see what happens on the next project.

To begin, Mr. Kirk came out and provided a quote on site. Mr. Kirk was very thorough and was able to answer every question we had. Mr. Kirk is not a salesman, he gives you choices to make the best financial decision for your project. Mr. Kirk has set a bar for all future contractors that come to our house. Mr. Kirk was about the sixth and last quote we obtained, oh and how happy we were to find him. He doesn't take days to get back to you, he takes minutes to get back to you. He keeps you updated with the whole process and lets you know how things are progressing. Let's just say if you want the best, done right, Timber Craft is the company you must choose. I was thinking we were not going to be able to afford Mr. Kirk, but to our surprise his quote was right in the middle of the other quotes. Mr. Kirk's attention to detail was a perfect match for our OCD tendencies. He finished ahead of schedule. IT WAS AMAZING!!! Whatever you do, give Mr. Kirk a chance to win your business!

The project went well considering the weather which delayed the project somewhat. Each time the weather got better, the contractor was here and ready to go. Started with the CAD design and coordination was right on time. The structure was built to the design so I knew what to expect each step of the way. Kirk informed me of his intentions each day and answered my text messages immediately. I am very very pleased with the results. The final structure was more than I expected. The thick beam and posts make the structure look like an expensive ski resort. I have one of the best patio covers in the neighborhood! The customer service was awesome and Kirk was easy to get a hold of and talk to about the project along the way. That meant a lot to me.

Best experience you can imagine. He listened to our wants and concerns and then made suggestions. He took measurement and sent us a 3D design with our house in the design. No imagination need to see his vision of what we wanted. The design looked exactly like what he built. Other contractors we talked to were not even close. My wife had to try and image what a gable looked like without knowing what a gable is or what it looks like. All that and the design and price was cheaper than others we talked to. Top quality work.
