Description of Work: Our initial contact with C&B electric was related to a blown fuse. When Bryan came out and determined that the issue was much larger than a fuse (house was built in 1968). | |We knew before his visit that we were going to have to eventually replace the fuse box. So it wasn't a surprise when he said that to truely fix our problem, we would need a new box. | |He quoted the service to replace and used our coupon for the future service. We had them replace the box a week later. | |Bryan and his assistant did a wonderful job. For any elecrical service in the future we will use C&B.

Description of Work: Changed out light fixtures in the Kitchen and two Bathrooms, Replace fire alarm and check all alarms. Replace Light in front of house. Called and request to come early which turn out to be better for us. Did have to clean up small mess and take all fixtures out to be trashed. overall a very good job.

Description of Work: I paid $99 for The Big Deal which was $200 worth of service. Two guys showed for appointment, the electrician and helper. First I had an outlet on patio with no power. The electrician quickly assessed a charge of $99 to determine the problem. After climbing around in attic they said the wiring had been cut so they ran another wire and installed a new outlet. It works. Next they replaced a kitchen under counter light with a light I had purchased. Another $100 assessed. They replaced a second under counter light which broke while they were trying to run a wire from and to a new light I wanted installed. Another $100. I asked for a bid on replacing all under counter fluorescent lights with LED and received a bid of over $2000 which I thought was excessive. But, overall the work was adequate and they resolved the problems I called them to take care of.

Description of Work: Installed a light fixture in the kitchen, replaced 5 light switches and 2 two-way switches. I felt like the charges were a little high for the switches considering I provided the switches but I have nothing to compare it to. Considered contacting another provider just to find out what they charged to install a new switch. The job was completed but I had to pick up some of the pieces of wiring left behind. The installer was courteous and professional. I would not hire them again on a deal like this I would check around and get pricing from several vendors.

Description of Work: I bought a deal on Angie's List. I forgot how much I paid, but it seemed a fair price. I needed to replace 3 smoke detectors. One of the detector requires climbing on a ledge. The electrician came the first time and told me I had the wrong detectors. After I bought the correct ones he came back to install them without any extra charge even though he had to return to do the job. He was friendly and professional and did the job relatively quickly. I am happy with the service.
