Description of Work: Added dimmer switch and a fan/light. They wanted $75 dollars per switch or plug change out so I declined that service. I got 28 of them switched out mostly for cosmetic reasons for a total of $129 by another company. At $75 per switch it would have cost me $2100 dollars with C and D.

Description of Work: I bought a service I cannot use due to the outrageous bill they were going to charge me to install two light fixtures. |I called a local lighting store and they sent me someone who installed for one tenth of the price I was quoted. |So now we are out 100.00 prepay for a service we will never use.

Description of Work: They assembled and hung a large ceiling fan in a room with a 12-foot ceiling. There had not been a fixture there previously, so electricity had to be run to the spot and a box installed. The pair of electricians did a good job and worked efficiently, but I would have appreciated them demonstrating a bit more care for my living room's wood floor. The indicated cost was the total before applying an Angie's List coupon.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List deal of $200 worth of work for $111. They were pretty busy so I didn't get scheduled until about 10 days out. Kerrie and Shawn came out to put a vacuum switch in for the garbage disposal. The house is pretty old and there's always a little "gotcha" that happens with even routine repairs. Kerrie rolled with the punches and kept at it until it was perfect. Shawn was kept busy running in and out so they could try different solutions until they found one that worked. They tested it over and over to make sure it continued to work properly. They cleaned up when they were finished and I am thoroughly satisfied. I will definitely be calling for Kerrie again the next time I need electrical services. Thanks Kerrie and Shawn!

Description of Work: They completed installation of remote control ceiling fan and balanced it perfectly. They installed a plate to cover old marking on ceiling for hanging chandelier. The installed 3 outdoor lights. They did great work. The thing I resent is the coupons are misleading and the bid of actual works is compared with a price with a membership of which I will probably never use, but it give the illusion that you are saving money to buy a membership. This has just started. I have used painters and the coupon was exactly for what I bought.

Description of Work: We had C & B install a light fixture for us on a very high ceiling. Brian called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and arrived at the front end of the service window that we had been provided. Brian was very professional, worked quickly and was conscientious about the clean up. I also asked him about some other potential electrical services that I have been considering and he took the time to answer my questions and explain the different options that I could consider. Based on this experience with Brian and C & B, I would definitely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: The two man team contacted me ahead of time to let me know they were on there way and arrived as agreed upon during the phone conversation. My ceiling fan was installed and works great. The technician also looked at my breaker box to review a couple items found during my home inspection. The breaker box was in great condition and all of the main lines were grounded correctly.

Description of Work: The home surge suppressor was not to code per another electrical contractor and another one had to be installed. The problem that I had they quoted me $1600 to have a 20 amp line installed. The problem is that my treadmill kept popping the AFCI circuit. I had 3 electrical contractors come and examine the problem. All suggested the same upgrade at varying prices. I researched the problem myself and found that all I needed to do was put a surge suppressor on the exercise machine as it will normalize current spikes in both directions. I have been using the treadmill for months now with no problem.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 old light pendants with new ones. | |They were GREAT!! But over priced. The messed up my scheduled arrival time. My window was to be AM. When no one showed I called and they had someone come out late that afternoon.

Description of Work: I was told that a bubble light would be installed in the MBR closet;however, what was installed was a light bulb with a string to turn on and off. Also had an outside back patio light replaced. When I asked if I could have the box from the product, so I would know how to operate and what type of bulbs to replace, I was told to take the bulb with me when I needed to replace. I did not call the company, as I was totally fed up.

Description of Work: They did no work but wrote me up an estimate for over $1000 to do all the things that would need to be done, |It was a waste of my time and raised my blood pressure! |I received no service for my payment!!
