CB Electric and their rep who did the work was excellent. He came on time, explained what he would be doing and about how long it would take. He delivered on all aspects of the job. He was very courteous and professional and respectful of my husband who was recovering from a broken hip and moving slow. He kept him informed about the work which was appreciated. We will be calling them for any other electrical work we might need in the future. Thank you Angie!

Called ahead and showed up on time. Explained everything he was doing and answered questions. Gave us an overall assessment of condition of wireing. Had all tools and supplies needed for job. Recommended an Entire House surge protector, with reasons one would be nice to have. Expained total cost, time to install and answered any additional questions. Recommended replacement of main Breaker on side of side and explained why that was needed.

Rick, the technician, was the nicest and most helpful service person ever. He was always upbeat and wonderful at answering any questions. He knew everything about electricity. We couldn't believe how quickly he did all the work plus cleaned up the garage afterwards!

Our electrical box needed updating and we bought a deal that C&B would replace the box for $1099. After receiving a quote from another company that was well over $3,000, we thought this was a great deal. Our technician, Fernando, was very polite and did a good job. We've already had him back to do a couple of additional projects.

I called prior to buying the Groupon to check about possible add-ons. Spoke with knowledgeable people. I described the existing equipment and location. I was told that it didn't appear to be any add-ons. The serviceman was punctual, dressed in a clean uniform and went right to work. Work performed was neat, precise and adhered to existing codes. I have 35+ years experience with the local electric utility company and have spent the last 3 years doing electrical QA/QC work for the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Wounded Warrior Project. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending these people's work.

We built a new home in 2010. C&B did the wiring. We had them out repeatedly to correct problems with it. For example, on a number of occasions the new home's smoke detectors would mysteriously sound. After several visits, C&B rewired the coffee bar circuit they had installed in our master bedroom to eliminate the problem. Appparently, a transient electric problem created by turning on the coffee maker triggered the smoke detectors. We have also already had to replace some poor quality electric switches installed by C&B. C&B installed 15 amp breakers for nearly all house electrical circuits. This limits them to an 1800 watt load. This provides little reserve on many circuits. Because C&B also installed our home security system, we asked them about monitoring services. We were told that, while C&B did not provide smoke and fire monitoring at that time (November 2010), they would add that service in a few months. As of two years later, the service was still unavailable. When I complained and told them I wished to terminate the contract because the service still was not available, C&B's response was to demand that we continue to pay them for the full term of the monitoring contract. We are doing so, but have contracted with another provider for the promised smoke and fire detection, as well as security monitoring. When the C&B contract term has expired, we will not look back.

I called this company after viewing their website, which appeared to be geared toward larger jobs. I asked if the did small jobs and the super friendly receptionist assured me they do jobs of all sizes. They were able to get to my house that same day. I live in an old house so the electrician scoped out the most efficient location and gave me an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and the electrician installed the outlet, including drilling an opening for insertion in about 1 1/2 hours. I was very happy with the work and his professionalism.

Brian McLeroy was our service tech and he arrived on time and neatly attired. He checked the area to be worked on, went to the box and turned the breakers to begin work immediately. He was careful to explain to me the work being done and that he was going to have the power off for a short time. During his visit we talked about the GFCI outlet and he was willing to handle changing that over for me. It took minutes to do the entire job and there was no mess at all when he left. He was efficient and got in and out before the plumber's team was ready to access that same area so it worked perfectly within out timeline. He gave me some further information on possible upgrades to our breaker box and the price of this upgrade as well. He also showed me a state-of-the-art outlet now available for plugging in some of my electronics. We may call him back to get some of this installed in the future. Very good experience. I would recommend this company.
