The repairman was friendly and professional.

The original deal was worth $1099 and we had to pay an extra $149 for the GFI installation. The gentleman, Rick, was an excellent electrician!

We are new to Texas and don't know a soul. We joined Angie's List to help us identify an electrician and we were very pleased. Our technician came out and did an assessment and gave me an honest quote and details on how the work would be performed and how long it would take. He was very friendly and did a great job. I would definitely use C&B in the future and recommend C&B to neighbors.

Everything was done quickly, with professionalism and at an affordable price. I will be using these guys from now on, if I ever need any electrical work done!

Initially got an appointment for the next day, but they managed to work me into the schedule for same day service. On-site technician reported back to his supervisor that work wasn't done up to their standards, and they did the service call and repair for no charge.

I received a phone call prior to arrival...I did not have the extension bar needed to install the fan so he offered to go to Home Depot to pick one up for me. The fan works great.

They were terrific! They came out and were professional and punctual. They fixed an outlet we were worried about and then checked all of our other outlets. We'd also questioned an outlet outside that 2 other companies had not been able to fix. They fixed both outside outlets. We plan to call if we need anything else done!

We hired C & B to add an outdoor electric outlet on the side of the house, specifically to supply power to our new mosquito system. Contact with the residential service department (Teri) was always extremely polite, professional, honest and timely. They were running slightly behind schedule on our day of service, but both the office and the technician called and communicated very effectively to make sure adjusted estimated time was okay. Technician (Jeff) was professional, efficient, & performed quality work.

He was very pleasant to work with, and he checked with me every step of the process to make sure that he was doing the work according to our needs. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful service provider, and we will definitely use this company again next time we need electrical work.

Did a great job! Was on time. Even called and could come a bit early. Was very polite, quick worker, very knowledgeable in electrical work. Can't think of anything that could be improved upon. Very pleased.

Electrician made multiple attempts to get my ceiling fan working - wiring and re-wiring the mess I had created, tested and re-tested. In the end it was agreed that we just need to replace it. This only took about 30 minutes so I had actually put a second job on the docket because I had a feeling this would go quick and we had purchased 2 hours worth of work thru Angies list. Well, it was under-counter lighting (several florescent light fixtures/lights) that had quit. He found a burned out switch, identified aluminum wiring that had been incorrectly pigtailed to a copper switch. He replaced switch, pigtailed the CORRECT way and it's all working now. The only negative to say is he was obviously annoyed at the attempt I had made to fix my own problem and in doing so made more of a mess for him. He was talking on his cell at one point and comments he made were a little offensive. "Customer tried to DIY and now there's a wiring mess up here" (almost exact words). To me it was an unnecessary comment as I was obviously not happy I hadn't properly diagrammed the job before attempting it. I'm not a total amature at wiring (did auto electric work for years so know my way around schematics, electric motors, etc.) but only found out after I had torn it apart that ceiling fan switches are NOT universally wired...home owner, beware! Diagram and take pictures before you take out the old switch!!

Visit went very well. Service technician was able to come a day earlier than scheduled which worked out perfect for us. Technician was very friendly and performed installation quickly and professionally. Will definitely be calling on C & B again with any other electrical needs!

I had many questions, because there was a sudden explosion and did not know what had caused it. The electrician was very helpful in his explanations.

Brian and his apprentice arrived on time and started the install immediately. Brian also informed me that the estimate was too high, so the work cost about half of what I had expected. Everything was complete in about an hour, including the cleanup. I?m very happy with the results and would use C&B again.

I have done electrical work myself in the past and of course not up to code :) I had insulation installed in the attic and they pulled some wire apart and not wanting to debug it myself purchased the pay $100 for $200 worth of work. Scheduling went well and the guy showed as promised. I pointed out I had a light switch that sometime worked and sometimes didn't. Of course it worked the day he showed up :) I told him I wanted the connects in the attic up to code and he said $125 per box and required 2 boxes. Since the main reason was for the visit was the light not always working we started there. I was hoping they had a better way of following the electrical path, but it looked it was opening connection boxes and see if there was a lose connection. He spent some time trying to locate the gap and I said I did not want to spend allot trying to locate the gap and he check a number of outlets and stitches and we finally agreed it must have been the switch, so he replace the switch and then started working on the connections in the attic. While working on installing the box, when he went to move the wire to the box, the light went off and we located the gap :)

This is my second use of C&B Electric, both times Rick came out to perform the work. I originally talked with Rick a few months ago when it was brought to my attention that I needed to replace a faulty panel. Which, by the way, if you have a Fed Pacific Breaker Panel, GET IT REPLACED! Google the name and you'll see why. Anyhow, I called and set the appointment up and Rick showed up right on time. I originally thought it would be a full day job, however everything went relatively smooth so he finished up in about 4 hours. Shortly after he left, I went to make lunch and found that my stovetop didn't have power. I called Rick and he was back out the next day to replace a faulty breaker - took 5 minutes and was painless for me. I would absolutely recommend Rick for your electrical work and will confirm, he's good people. He's not a sleeze-ball like many I've encountered in the electrical field, he's an honest man performing excellent work. I'll be using C&B again in the future when an electrician is needed!

Contractor showed up on time, professional and did a great job. The pricing was a bit higher than I expected but the work was excellent. I would use them again.

We had a quick discussion then he went right to work. As he progressed he would ask me questions if I had options in what I could do. It was all very clear, quick and professional.

The electrician worked diligently to diagnose and repair the outlet. He was determined to do the job correctly rather than 'just make it work.' The experience was positive enough that we contracted to have additional work done at a later date.
