C & B Electric

As always, great. I use C&B Electric for all my ongoing projects - adding outside lights, replacing old breaker box and others - I have worked with Brian each time, and I will continue to request him for upcoming work. Always professional and willing to give feedback on options.

The electrician was on time; understood the scope of work: completed task in a professional and efficient manner. I had him give me estimates for future electrical work as I will definitely use C&B again!

I bought the Big Deal of $111 for $200 of Electrical Services. I didn't had to wait long, the employees arrived on time for the appointment and I told them what I wanted to be done. Luckily I had already bought new electric outlets at Home Depot, so things went well. The employees were quite fast in completing the work. I was very pleased, and I appreciated them letting me know I need to replace my smoke alarm because it wasn't working anymore. Overall, it was a great deal from Angie's List!

They were quick to set up an appointment and arrived during the scheduled time. They were courteous and professional. They fixed the issue quickly and I haven’t had any issues with the outlets since.

I had initially purchased the "deal" to get a few basic jobs completed around the house done, but when Brian came out for the quote he did a full walk through of the house and did a great job explaining everything that he listed. I knew when I purchased the house that the breaker box/ panel needed to be replaced and relocated but I had put it on the back burner. Brian was able to show me why the box needed to be replaced, and truly explain it. Although I ended up with a lot more work needing to be completed than I wanted, I knew it was all necessary. They scheduled to complete the work about a week later and dedicated a whole day to it, they called about 20 minutes prior to arrival and got started right away. It was Brian and one other electrician that worked together continuously throughout the day. It's the heat of the summer and they were climbing in the attic and working outside- not once did they complain, always had great attitudes. They had a pretty long list of things to do and got all done extremely fast. I highly recommend C&B Electric- they have a great crew and very fair prices. I WILL be calling them in the future for any additional work! Finding companies like this is why I signed up for Angie's list.

The company was very responsive and an appointment was easy to schedule. They made two trips due to the fact one outdoor light was dimming without a reason. On the second trip some other lighting needs were added. Brian and his two co-workers were great to work with and seemed very capable. I would use them again.

The deal was confusing. The guy showed up with a list of what I could have done for $200. I was thinking that the $200 was going to cover more.

Technician was extremely proficient, polite and punctual. He ensured that he understood what my needs were and walked through them to double check the ask. I really appreciated the thoroughness! He did a very good job at keep his wiring hidden in the attic to prevent a tripping hazard. The J-Box and switch were mounted well and hidden as requested. If I could give the Tech an A+, I would. The "Menu Based" pricing is the only thing that prevents me from calling them for every electrical need I have... with access to every room in the house from the attic, it's been stated by other electricians, that it's fairly easy to perform normal requests in my house. I think there's an opportunity to try an half-hour/hourly rate for simple tasks.

Two men showed up. Purpose was to install a switch in the garage. Other than being a bit noisy they were fine.

My wife and I just moved into an older home and it needed some TLC on the electrical work. Called C&B and they scheduled the awesome and professional team of Brian and Shawn! These guys were AWESOME!!! Professional at all times respecting our home and furniture; making sure to clean up after drilling holes etc. They were very efficient on time and provided advice on cost savings and energy efficient lighting. I will be requesting Brian and Shawn for every job we have going forward! Trust me, you cannot go wrong with these two guys. Class act all the way!

I think they work on our garage and they were very good. My wife was satisfied.

The provider quoted me a price of $500 for a professional grade router, which I did not need. Installation would be approximately another $500. I did research and consulted friends and they showed me a set of two routers that could do the same coverage for $140. The provider declined to install these routers, and further declined to purchase the router he recommended from a lower cost provider that was easily found on the internet. Essentially, he wanted to protect his margin on the $1000 job. He explained he had some relationship with the maker of the more expensive product and so he had to recommend it. I declined to use this service and went with the less expensive solution, saving me $550 (including install) and giving me amazing coverage on my house. However, had I not been tech saavy and trusted this provider, I would have spent $1000. I did waste a lot of time with this provider researching alternatives. I do not think it is honest to try to upsell a customer on a service/install that is more than 2x the price what he actually needs because many people will end up wasting money and doing unnecessary work. I do not think this is a way that Angie's list providers should operate because we put a certain amount of trust in our contractors to recommend what is in our best interest. This provider unequivocally did not, even when made aware of the competing solution. The service provider was very professional, responsive, and the like, much better than average in terms of customer service.

Arrived just a little late. Only reason felt price was bad was because vents were already purchased by homeowner and cost would have been more if did not have $200.00 discount coupon from Angies list for services. Cost would have been $748.00. Have not had electrical work performed in home since 2009 and was not aware cost had risen do drastically. Later found out from local electrician, cost would have been a little lower than quoted discounted price. Not sure if he was just telling us that, to lure busy his way for next time. Otherwise, work took approximately 4 hours and installer did a good job with a good personality. Overall good quality job. Will use again if discounts available.

C & B Electric came out the same day, diagnosed the cause of our problems, and rewired three of our electrical outlets. There was additional cost for the repairs, but the work was done accurately, and there have been no problems since. I would definitely use them a

Brian arrived on time and he removed my old ceiling and installed the new one, but the light would not work. Brian went through all the steps to determine the cause of the problem and concluded the new fan was bad. I took the fan back and go another one. Brian came back later that day and installed the 2nd new fan and this time everything on the fan worked as expected. Brian should patience and professionalism during the entire process.

I purchased this deal about a year ago to fix something else that ended up resolving itself. When the doorbell started acting up I contacted C & B Electric about the deal I had purchased last year and they were remarkably friendly about using the deal well past the purchase date. The technician was fantastic. Arrived on time and replaced the doorbell fixture without issue. I will absolutely use C & B Electric in the future!

From start to finish, these guys have been the best. C&B gave us a clear, easy-to-understand estimate. We got the work done and the team showed up on time walked through everything before starting work to make sure they understood exactly how I wanted things done. My old landscape lights had very funky wiring, and the electrician suggested some simple changes which make things much simpler now. My new fixtures look great, I have a solid warranty, and I couldn't be happier.

Brian and Sean were two hours ahead of their scheduled time of arrival. They jumped right on the replacement of items ( I had purchased everything I wanted for replacement) but they also have most of those items on their trucks if you need them to supply various items. Updated outlet plugs in bathrooms with GFCI and outdoor plugs with weather proof covers, prepared light fixtures for ceiling fan installations and removed appliances (hot tub and pool chlorinator) that were not being used anymore to help save on the electric bill. They also made note of my breaker box that is about 30 years old and provided a good estimate for replacement of those breakers and providing surge protection. This is a must in today's home with all of the high end electronics. They were in and out within 1.5 hours and saved me a ton of hours having to do all of these Ward Cleavers on my own. It is well worth the Angie's Price list to have them come do your list of honey-do's so you can concentrate on other items! Will have them back for several other projects this summer!

The two men showed up on time and worked all day in the very hot sun and hot house to bring our panel up to code. They are super guys and I will certainly use them again.

Came at roughly the appointed time, completed everything as expected.

Brian was very punctual, reliable and efficient. He knew exactly what to do & did the work in timely manner. I would use C&B again on ALL future projects.
