I found Bumblebee Energy Solutions through another website. Malcom Jackson responded promptly to my request for a quote to remove old insulation and blow in new insulation. I interviewed three companies and two came to my home to give estimates. Mr. Jackson was the only contractor who measured the attic space to ensure an accurate quote. Mr. Jackson's quote was in line with other companies' but I chose Bumblebee because: (1) it was near my home; (2) Mr. Jackson provided the most thorough inspection and quote; and (3) they were able to complete the work before Thanksgiving with less than 1 week's notice. Mr. Jackson's 2-man crew arrived on time and immediately began to work. Chris was polite, hard working and funny. He was a pleasure to have around. Dante, the other crew member, was also hard working, but quite unprofessional. I spoke to Mr. Jackson about Dante and he addressed it immediately. He offered to pull Dante from the job, but I told him not to because they were making great progress. Although Dante was unpolished and would benefit from some training, he did the work he was supposed to do and there were no other issues after Mr. Jackson spoke to him. One blemished apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. Both Chris and Dante worked very hard for 3 days and, as a result, were able to finish the job early. Mr. Jackson, the owner, was subdued and very responsive throughout the 3-day process. He answered all of my questions and addressed any issues. Overall, I was pleased. The "B" rating in punctuality is because the crew was 2 hours late one day and did not call to let me know. Mr. Jackson apologized for the delay. The "B" rating in professionalism is for the reasons stated in the previous paragraph. I highly recommend Bumblebee Energy Solutions and would work with Mr. Jackson and Chris any day of the week. If you want insulation work done right for a fair, competitive price. Call Bumblebee. You won't be disappointed.

On time, right to work, great job, excellent clean up. Exceeded expectations.

We scheduled an energy audit with Bumble Bee. They arrived half an hour late, disagreed with each other on how to complete measurements, what vents were intake and what should be taped off. They generally appeared to be off of their game. I still do not have the report from the audit. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone nor would I use them again.

Bumblebee Energy was very professional when they came to the home. They originally came over to give the estimate. I liked that they had an infrared imaging camera so they were able to see the sources of where air was leaking in and out of the home. I knew that I didn’t want radiant barrier and I told them that and I like that they didn’t try to upsell me on radiant barrier.
