+ -1 moreThe project went quite well. The only slow down related to permit acquisition. The city of Dallas was rather slow in processing the paperwork to release a permit. Mr. Simmons was easy to work with, maintained a presence during the entire construction process and provided detailed information regarding work progress. I was always aware of when work would be going on and was regularly updated regarding work completion. The final product is exactly what we expected and looks great.
Description of Work: Built a ~160' x 5' retaining wall along a creek bed that borders our property. Mr. Simmons prepared the initial drawing, had an engineer's sealed drawing completed, and was issued a permit to perform the work. The work entailed excavating a footing for the cement bag wall along the creek bed, laying the cement bags, placing filter fabric to prevent soil loss, installing flex-drain behind the wall to allow for drainage, extension of existing drains through wall as necessary, soil fill placement behind wall, and area clean up following wall completion.
