J Bar W Painting

I had to repaint the entire kitchen myself. Hardly any coverage. They left the doors on and sprayed the hinges. No paint on the parts of the cabinet doors where they couldn’t spray due to them being still attached. They should have taken them OFF. Period. Take them offsite if you need to. Only one primer coat and 2 coats of paint that were so light I could see the wood in spots. They didn’t paint the ceiling Above the cabinets all the way back and the walls above the cabinets because “you can’t see it” from standing in front of them. Right now we are recaulking because everything they did was cracked. I should have saved money and done it myself from the start. Also note the photos where the wood is rough and we asked them to sand it down and they did not. I had to go back and do it myself before repainting. They also showed up at 10 every day and you could tell they just wanted to leave. They left by 3 every day. Save your money and buy a paint sprayer or hire someone else.

I notified a quality paint store and ask them for names of paint contractors that I could call for estimates. They provided two. J Bar W was the first to call me back, came right out and provided a detailed estimate and date that they could start. They did not require any of their service fee up front. Once I told them that I wanted them to do the job they called me back and gave me a date the following week to start. The next day they called me back and said they could start the next day. It took them about a day and a half to complete the work. It rained the day after they started so elapsed time was three days. From the day they provided the estimate to completion was eight days. They used the best quality paint and it all looks really good.
