Description of Work: We had Dura-Mar do two projects more or less simultaneously in a home we purchased. The first was installation of granite countertops in the kitchen, three bathrooms and a wet bar. The second was replacing an old bath tub and surround in the master bath. The granite work was satisfactory, but in retrospect,we feel it was more costly than it should have been. That being said, it was our own fault that we did not get more bids on the job. The tub was another matter. They advertise themselves to be bathroom remodelers but would not provide any hardware along with the tub. (faucet, handle, drain assembly) They told me to go to Home Depot and get it but I had no idea what to buy. I told the H.D. salesperson what the old tub had and he took a best guess and sold me the wrong thing. I got upset with Dura-Mar when they told me they could not help me - and eventually, they sent their plumber to exchange what I had purchased for a set that would work. When they were done, we could not get the water in the tub hot and they had to come back out and troubleshoot the mixing valve. In doing so, they had to remove the 4" surround that had been installed which did further wall damage causing them to have to install a much taller surround that was not what I wanted. Finally, after they were done and gone and I took my first bath, I noticed that there was a scrape under the faucet which mars the surface. I did not call them to report it as I just wanted to be done at this point.

+ -1 moreThey furnished and installed the vinyl liner, and the cultured marble shower, including a bench seat. They installed a cultured marble vanity top with two sinks. We were very pleased with the quality of the job, and the professionalism of the staff.

+ -1 moreThey said the job would take 5 days. They started a day late and finished 3 weeks later. Everybody was very polite but it seemed like the crew was just had too many jobs going at the same time. The finished job looked great. They had a plumber ( Carl ) that I had to tell them that he was not allowed back because of very bad workmanship, so they sent someone else to fix all of his mistakes. Overall every one else did a great job. The price was good. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreI think they are fairly local to the area. The job went well and I was pleased. They were very professional in regards to their approach to the job. They did everything they said they were going to do in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Dura-Mar rebuilt my bathroom. They provided subcontractors for flooring and plumbing, and electrical and they installed marble, the vanity, and drywall.

+ -1 moreTHE COMPANY WAS VERY HELPFUL IN SELECTING COUNTERTOPS THAT MATCH MY KITCHEN. THEY ALSO MADE HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TYPE OF MARBLE TO USE IN OUR BATHROOM. THE JOB WAS DONE WITHIN WEEKS OF PLACING THE ORDER. THE WORKERS MADE SUGGESTIONS AS TO HOW TO CLEAN AND UP KEEP ON BOTH THE MARBLE AND GRANITE.
Description of Work: WE HAD GRANITE COUNTERTOPS INSTALLED IN OUR KITCHEN. WE HAD MAN MADE MARBLE PUT IN OUR BATHROOM.
