Description of Work: We purchased a home in Sun City just 3 years ago. We noticed a crack in the mortar on the front of our Sun City home plus separation from roof-line. Hammond from Pulty indicated the warranty was 1 year; the homeowner was responsibility to effect repairs going forward. A home only 3 years old should not suffer collapsed mortar with separation from the roofline; it invites moisture, pests and further degradation. Unwillingness to reach out beyond the 1 year window questions Pulty’s workmanship & materials and future Sun City buyers should be aware. Prior homes have not experienced a rapid exterior integrity degradation just 3 years from construction, and the right move would be for Pulty to step up and remedy this. When a homeowner invests life savings, it would be nice to know that they are also investing in reliability & confidence in a company willing to stand by its workmanship, even after 1 year!. We are dismayed that a Pulty experience seems to be tantamount to ‘caveat emptor’ . . . .”
