Description of Work: Southern Shutters has manufactured and installed custom plantation shutters in 2 of my houses. The shutters they make are gorgeous and of very high quality. They fit perfectly and have a super smooth paint job. The shutters operate smoothly, and cut out the light and noise very effectively ( I live on a busy street). Southern shutters are super professional when it comes to installing the shutters. The work went quickly and there was no mess left behind. This is the second time I have used Southern Shutters to manufacture a house full of plantation shutters. I love the look and they are well worth the price. I recommend them highly and would absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: Great salesman, blinds are fine but I ordered a replacement piece through them and to date this has not happened and when I call they refer me to someone else and it just seems to be ignored. For that I rnte the professionalism and responsiveness low.

+ -1 moreI thought that when they came out and did all the estimates, that they were very clear about price and work. They resolved a few little issues very quickly. Their installation and follow up were very good. They were competitive on the pricing as well.

+ -1 moreThe company was quite impressive and professional during the estimation process and installation process. They kept me informed on their progress. Whenever they scheduled an appointment, they usually arrived early, but called first to ask if that was okay. Very polite & professional. The installation for the plantation shutters was a little more clumsy than the wood blinds. They chipped off some dry wall in a couple of places, and some of the shutters didn't close completely smoothly. However, they came back to fix them promptly. The installation for the wood blinds was perfection though. They finished quickly, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. They didn't clean up as well during the plantation shutter installation. However, that is a much more tedious installation. Otherwise, I would've given them all A's. If there are any repairs needed, they are happy to come back, even if they installed the stuff years ago. I like that they manufacture everything locally too.
