Even though this was a small job, Kash got 3 of his crew working on it and finished in 1 day. Looks beautiful and the water pooling issue has been resolved. The mulch no longer floats across the sidewalk and into the grass. Discussed plants that we wanted and was open to substitutions after the original quote. Worked with us and provided information on what plants would work best in our area and survive the Texas heat and the occasional Texas freeze.
Description of Work: Cleaned out a flower bed and put in landscape fabric and a gutter drainage from inside a sidewalk area under the sidewalk and to a pop up in the yard. Added mulch and new plants to replace the dead stuff from the 2021 blizzard. Replaced one dead tree.

Sloppy work. It looked good the day they left but in the following months we had issues with grass growing through the weed barrier and under the edging. There is also damage to our cedar fence from an excessive amount of river rock being stacked against the fence. After the original project, I was willing to pay them to come and fix their own mistakes but it became obvious they didn’t know what they doing. Kash had in his mind the materials needed to not have any extra remaining. They ran short on stepping stones, paver stones, weed barrier and metal edging but had an abundance of river rock. The crew used the materials provided and they just finished the job with what they had. (1) For the stepping stone path we wanted big stones and were willing to order extra to make sure they were big. Instead, one pallet of stone was stretched and when he started to run out, the path went from large pieces, about 2 feet wide each, down to medium pieces where 2 stones next to each other “made” a big piece all the way down to a “stepping” stone that is 5 inches wide. It looks ridiculous as you walk from one end of the path to the other. (2) His cheap go-to material was river rock and again to prevent having leftovers it was stacked noticeably thicker on the side of the house. River rock was installed up to 8 inches deep which was easy to measure because it was stacked against a cedar fence and you could see/measure the depth of rock between the pickets in our neighbor’s yard. It was stacked up so high, the fence panels all bowed out towards our neighbor’s yard due to the weight. Kash lectured me on why I was wrong even after asking him to explain why the fence panels were straight in his before pictures and all panels are all visibly bent outwards 3 months later. (3) The metal landscape edging is 4 inches tall. After not installing it flush against the fence, rocks were going under the fence into our neighbor’s yard and grass was growing through the river rock in our yard. They also missed installing the edging on a 20 foot section of fence. They came back at extra cost to fix their sloppy work. Related to the river rock stacked against the fence Kash again lectured me that the edging was 4 inches tall and since we could see the top of the edging there was no way the rock was 8 inches deep. I pulled the rock away from the fence and saw that the edging was floating about 4 inches off the ground, pinned between the rock and fence. The edging to separate the rocks and grass wasn’t even touching the ground!!! (4) Also while pulling the rock away from the fence I discovered large sections that did not have the week barrier installed before the rock was put down. We have significant issues with grass growing through the rocks and this definitely explains why. (5) Finally, the paver pad for the garbage cans… they didn’t get enough pavers. The pad was 24 inches, the wheel base of the garbage cans is 28 inches. You had to drag the can across the pad because the wheels were hanging off the edge of the pad. We were willing to pay them more money to come back and fix their sloppy work. When they came back the garbage can pad was the only thing fixed. While they moved the edging to make it flush against the fence and installed edging in sections they missed it wasn’t contacting the ground and there was no barrier between our neighbor’s yard between the rocks and grass. Kash was in flat out denial about how much rock was stacked up against the damaged fence and was looking for excuses when I measured the depth of the rock in front of him. In the end we didn’t get what we originally paid for. Then paid him more to come back and still not fix it. Depending on the job I’m sure they could do great work, but if a landscape company cannot install edging correctly there might be an issue.
Description of Work: The project was simple, hardscape an area between the house, fence and pool with river rock, install a stepping stone path and a paver stone pad for garbage cans. Install weed barrier before putting the rock down and use metal landscape edging along the cedar fence to prevent rocks from going into the neighbor’s yard and prevent grass from encroaching into our yard.

Kash, was very punctual and when I had a few design adjustments after the fact, he was happy to make the changes. I am very happy with the results and will call Kash for my next project.

Wow! I don't know where to start. Kash (the owner) showed up on time both to quote my job and to do the job. He showed up at my home to quote my job at 5:30pm on a Friday and I had the quote from him emailed to be by 8:30pm that night! This was very impressive. I had gotten quotes from 6 other companies. I could tell easily once I talked to him that he seemed much more knowledgeable about the plants/shrubs as well as the design process than the other companies. There was an ease talking to him that was more like a family member talking to me about what my needs where. I felt I could trust him, which to be honest, with contractors is very hard in my experience. His rates were very competitive. I spent hours dealing with the different contractors getting bids and doing the comparisons. Save your time and go with this company. My yard looks amazing and my wife is VERY happy. Yard of the month here we come!
Description of Work: Cleared out flower beds, planted new shrubbs, trimmed my trees and added custom landscaping to my yard -
