We used Georgetown Fence & Deck for my in-laws split rail fence. Quick response time for an appointment & return on the estimate. Install was quick & the finished product showed great craftsmanship. Looking forward to working with this great local business in the future.

Owner Ken Burris sent me a message, early on a Sunday morning, and then proceeded to call me that same morning. He was worse than rude, condescending and breached our contract, then abruptly hung up. I then started reading reviews on this company, and had I read them beforehand, I never would have taken the recommendation of a prominent real estate company in Georgetown. Please prayer for the employees of this company...they need it with a owner like this.

Everything went like clock work. They showed up when they said they would, work was done on time and quality was excellent. I’m very happy with the result and process to get there. I will definitely go back to this company for future work.

Installers arrived as scheduled. Were fast, friendly and courteous. Finished product was to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend.

Went great. It was a relatively small job for them with about 160 feet of iron fence with 2 gates installed and tied into existing fence in the back. Two guys showed up on time and went about the work solidly. We have a lot of rock so they jack hammered away and got the posts in and set with concrete. Everything was perfect including clean up. The only small item that came up with the company was I had to call them to check on installation dates. Once I did the owner called me back and personally took charge of scheduling the job and called me back with a date that was kept.

Masons arrived as scheduled. Our grandsons watched them through a large window as the damaged fence was removed. They were also interested in the measuring, leveling and prep work that was done. Masons were done in one day. The carpenter spent a couple days replacing the wood parts of the fence. Excellent work by everyone. We are very pleased.

They did a great job. They did everything I asked them to do. I was really surprised to be honest with you, they did a really great job. I think they were fair on price. They always got back with me. They were right on time and did what they said they were going to do. They're very professional.

They actually explained the work was being done in conjunction with a neighbor's down the street who was getting some major work done, and when they finished theirs, they came and did ours. The work basically entailed replacing four vertical posts, cleaning out the area around it, and then putting the fence back up. They removed the fence sections, replaced the posts, and then put the sections back up. It took two workers about two hours and there was no problem.

They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They knew the restrictions in my community with fencing and I was very happy.

Katy was an excellent sales person: professional,, courteous and did what she committed to us to do.. Geronimo and installation crew were outstanding; a perfect installation.

I spoke to their representative Apr. 2 at the Austin Home & Garden Show about building a custom fence in my back yard. Turns out they have a smaller version of what I was considering on their property. I went there the next week to see it. That fence looked good, so I asked to have someone come out to my property. One of their people did so on May 9. We looked over the site for about 45 minutes, taking measurements and talking over options. That person gave no indication the fence I wanted would present any difficulty for them to construct. He said he would get me a quote. After that -- nothing. I contacted them again on June 3 and asked if they were still interested in submitting a bid. It's three business days later now -- and still no response.

The team which completed the work was skilled, courteous and professional.

We found Georgetown Fence & Deck at the Austin Home & Garden Show in January 2015, and were immediately interested in their services. We had several company's provide a bid for expansion work to our backyard area, and by far, Georgetown Fence & Deck were the most professional from beginning to end in the proposal phase, and we were glad to see this extended into their installation and job ethics as well. We had an existing 10'x20' concrete covered patio area off the back of our house we had built, and it wasn't large enough for our outdoor needs, so we were looking to expand the outdoor area to expand another 10'x20' concrete area, overlay flagstone onto the existing concrete area as well as the new area, and then build an offset wooden/cedar deck (20'x14') with an inset hot tub. The project was a success! We are very pleased with everything that was completed. I would definitely recommend Georgetown Fence & Deck for any of your landscaping projects. Kevin and his team were always very responsive when we had questions, and the price was very competitive for the quality of service we received.

From start to finish Georgetown Fence & Deck did a terrific job. They came out to look at our 1/4 acre backyard and took a lot of time helping us figure out how to save as many trees as possible along the lot line. They also did an amazing job helping us design a custom cattle panel/wood fence design for the front and sides of the yard (we wanted a "friendly" fence design that was warmer than chain link) and made suggestions about staining the privacy fence for the back of the lot. They showed up on time to do the work and finished everything faster than we could imagine. It looks terrific and we love it. A year after living with the fence- we still love it and highly recommend them to anyone in Georgetown who asks, just as they were recommended to us by all our neighbors.

They did a phenomenal job. In particular, the 3 different craftsmen that take care of the carpentry, stonework, and lighting are top notch skilled people. We really couldn't have asked for more. Price was good and very high quality of materials and workmanship. I will also mention that Kevin Clark the owner worked with us to get a design created quickly and efficiently. Someone immediately answered the phone, which was great. It sounded like a younger girl and she scheduled to have someone meet me at the house to give a quote. The rep that I met and dealt with was named Tommy. We worked to get everything measured and he sent me a quote the next day. I initially scheduled the install and then realized that I had made a mistake and the fence would have gone over a septic drain field, so I had to make it larger. Tommy came back out and we re-measured and he updated the quote and re-scheduled the install. The installation went well with the bull fence and gates, it looks great. I had an issue with the gate on the breezeway. Tommy came back out and we discussed the problems and he sent another crew out to take down the gate and rebuild another gate. This was done promptly with no additional charge. The 2nd is exactly what I wanted and looks absolutely fantastic. I am very pleased with the work that was performed. I was also happy that they promptly fixed the issue I had with the breezeway gate. I would be happy to use them again for future fence work.

They did give me a better price than the other have given to me, I found this was better, decided to go with this person. He did a very good job. He is very reasonably in the price. The quality of work is good. He show up on time.

These guys are great, The whole experience was good. From first contact, to coming out for estimate, to building the fence. We had to switch fence type last minute, they were so helpful and got new fencing right away and still finished project same day!! Plan on using them for other outdoor projects in the future!! Family owned business!!

Everything went as planned. They came out did the estimate, said the start date was about 2 weeks out. Came out started the job and finished it in 2 working days. Finished product looks great.

I had previously stripped off the old stain and completely sanded my entire deck by hand. I hired Georegtown Fence to finish the job by staining the deck. The owner recommended the deck be powerwashed before staining. The guys that power washed it got the head of the power washer too close to the wood and created ugly indentations (like lines that went against the grain) in the wood and lots of fuzzy splinters. I called to complain and they sent someone out to hand sand it out. I was told the lines wouldn't be visible once the stain was applied. However, that was not correct. The damage done by the power washer was even more pronounced and obvious once the stain was applied. The owner said that this happened because the deck is old (it is 5 years old). I think it happened because the powerwashing head was used too close to the wood. The owner did not offer to make it right and within 20 days he threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay the remaining balance ($410), visited my house to demand payment, emailed me and texted me. I felt harassed and paid him even though I am not happy with the result.

appointment set for 5/3/2014 between 9-10 am-no show, no call-I called -no return call Finally, at lunch time a truck pulled in front of my house and no one came to my door-so I went out to the truck and the fellow who was hours late with no call was eating his lunch I told him to forget it!!!!!!!!!!

I was being sued by my neighbor for fence damage and I needed an estimate for the damages. I sent these guys a picture of the damage, and asked for an estimate, with the understanding that no work would actually be done. I just needed estimates for the court. Even though there was nothing to be gained by helping me, they still took time to look at the damage and send me a quote. I asked quite a few repairmen for an estimate, and most just ignored me. But they helped me out even when they had nothing to gain. I think that says a lot about someone.

Excellent service provider. Came out and gave estimate. Very professional. Had to wait for home owner's association to vote if alright to build patio. Should know in next few days.
