Bouffard Transfer

It went very well. Two movers, Justin and Brandon, arrived on time at my house. The move was smooth and organized. They were able to dissemble furniture, shrink wrap those items that needed it, and move heavy pieces. They placed my things in the storage unit very well where I can reach them if need be. Definitely recommend.

Bouffard damaged (dented) the door on our stainless refridgerator, damaged the door windows with deep scratches on the new washer and dryer and broke the molding off our entertainment center. Britt Bouffard came out the Monday after the move on 12/30 to look at the damage and discuss the estimate overrun, he himself said the crew did poorly protecting our belongings. He said he would get the restoration guy over to try and repair the damage and talk to his team about the overcharge. I have called twice to discuss to see when the damages might be repaired and left messages with no return calls as of 1/9/14. I would like a reasonable explanation on the cost overrun and a refund of some sort.

From start to finish it was excellent. They take our order on the phone then gave us an accurate extimate (amount changed as we added items; no surprises). Our movers were Carlos and Mario and they were outstanding. They were fast but careful and took great care of our furniture and they were very pleasant with us and each other. Just a great move in every way. Would not hesitate to use them again and they would be the first we would call. By the way, I checked them out on Angie's list before I called them.

It went great!! I have used Boufford Transfer for all our moves starting in Georgetown many years ago. They moved us from Georgetown to Austin and even to our ranch which is 3 hours from Austin. Not only do I use them repeatedly, but I will always recommend them to my friends who move. They in turn will use them again. I will have them come in to move heavy furniture for me and to pick up and drop off furniture that I am giving away to my immediate family. The reason why I have continued using Boufford Transfer time and time again is because there has NEVER been a time that these guys are not professional. They are respectful, they watch out for each other, and they always are patient and courteous. I will say that this last crew was SO delightful!! They worked hard and they made the move FUN for me which I was really dreading.

The move was OK. The two movers were polite and professional and the few items moved arrived at the nearby destination undamaged. The only complaint I had is that, as far as I was concerned, the movers took every possible opportunity to make the move last as long as possible (I was paying by the quarter hour).

I called to schedule a move and did so with a fair estimate given after a home visit by a rep. Pretty standard. That is where the adventure changes. My brother-in-law decided I did not need a company-he and his crew would come down and move me at no cost. So I canceled the move only a week before the scheduled date. The day before the move date my brother-in-law arrives in his oldest pickup and says he has decided that between the two of us and quot;we can handle it.and quot; I wanted to cry. Instead I prayed a lot and called Bouffard Transfer again. Since I work I have to schedule days off 7 days prior to an event. Needles to say this is typically set in stone. I explained my situation the the lady on the phone, she located my work order and said that it would be about a week - maybe two before there was an opening. I must have sounded beyond desperate, because she ask me to hold and when she got back on the phone ask if I could move on Friday-this was Wed and the first move had been set for Thursday. Why yes, of course I could. I called my employer. The agreed to let me take off without notice. Yes! But wait-the lady said she was sending two trucks and four men-that way the move would be faster and easier and for the same price previously quoted. I had packed 99% of the house so that Friday two trucks and four young men were exactly on time to move me to my new home. They were happy in their work and as a team there was no beating them. My house and storage shed were packed and with a concern and care that I had not seen even with large companies in the past. You would have thought all my possessions we their own family heirlooms. They made me feel special and their work was outstanding. Moving has a stress factor of 100+, but not with this group...it was more like -10. Smiles and pleasantries, I could go on and on. And the actual price came in under estimate-even with all the extra help. What a wondrous move. I have moved all over the country-big companies paid big prices for big movers...Never have I had such a moving experience. This company and the staff go beyond the external polite to reach the inner service to mankind. I most highly and genuinely recommend them to anyone who needs to move and wants the extra this business provides. They are the epitome of the professional, caring, service provider. Not enough adjectives to describe the dedication to service the provider demonstrated in all aspects from the first call to last good bye-enjoy your new home. Bless the owner and the staff. It takes them all to put it together the right way-and they have done so quite nicely.

They were very kind.Tthey were very generous and flexible with my situation. They used their own trailor and were very careful with my furniture. They always showed up on time and they were very accomodating.
