Description of Work: I have used BIO TEX FOAM twice in the past 2 years. They foam insulated the walls and attic on two separate room additions to my home (800 Square feet and 600 square feet). They did outstanding work on both jobs. My house is now well insulated and my electricity bills for running two 15 Seer HVAC units are consistently low. I highly recommend Bio Tex Foam.

Description of Work: Bio-Tex was one of 4 insulation companies I contacted for quotes to insulate an 840 sq ft addition being added to my house in central Texas. Bio-Tex does only foam insulation. The sales rep (Mr. Mark Hall) came out to my place the day after I spoke via phone with the Bio-Tex owner (Mr. Dan Amon) requesting a quote. Mark surveyed the job, made notes, and discussed what Bio-Tex had to offer and how they could provide it.. The next day he brought Mr. Amon out to the job site and they presented their proposal to me in person. I accepted the terms and we booked a start date for the next week. The 4 person Bio-Tex crew, led by Jose, arrived as scheduled. They began by taping plastic covers over all of my addition windows and non-spray areas. It took them approximately 5 hours from start to job finish. They foam sprayed, and shaved smooth, the inside of the exterior walls and the underside of the roof decking above the attic. They even spray closed a large gap which had unexpectedly resulted under the new roof after my electrician, on the day before Bio-Tex arrived, had to remove some of the wall between the new attic and the old house attic where the new addition is being attached. I really appreciated this extra service to make the insulation complete at no extra charge. Finally, they cleaned up the entire job site before they left..

Description of Work: Soy based spray foam insulation for the underside of the roof of my residential remodel project.

Description of Work: Dan's crew showed up on time and completed the foaming in our attic and pumphouse roof in 2 days. We have a false vaulted ceiling in our kitchen and living room area with not so much space between the actual roof and ceiling, but they were able the foam in there as well. All the guys were well mannered and pleasent to be around, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: They put spray foam insulation in my attic between the rafters on the roof deck for additional insulation in my older home (built in 1978). My living/dining room has a vaulted ceiling. They were honest enough to tell me up front that that area could not be done because of the lack of space to work. That square footage was deducted from the house's square footage for the quote. They further told me that this would not be in the external walls for the same reason. This is a far better solution for insulation than radiant barrier. It may cost more, but in the long run, the pay-back is greater. With this, there is no need for additional traditional insulation just above the ceiling.
