Atx Fence & Deck

We had to work with the weather - as it was drizzling on one day so it had to be put off till the next work day. Unfortunately, they don't work on Saturdays. They came by the following Monday morning and there was a very slight drizzle but it stopped so they proceeded to begin. There were three workers who worked on it all day. They cleaned up everything nicely before they left for the day. All in all - great job. He's a little hard to get ahold of at times - but once you get him - it's worth it. It was obvious he knew what he was talking about when he originally explained everything to me as well. Overall - I just had a good rapport with him, and he ended up being slightly cheaper than the others I had talked too. He was very down to earth. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent - they showed up on time, finished the job in within their commitment and cleaned up. They were very professional and the new fence looks beautiful.

The service was great. When I called he took my details and came out the next day. He made recommendations that included one more fence post than I had planned so he went out and got the additional materials the same day. The work has been standing for over a year and I haven't had any problems. The cost was reasonable.

He was very professional, as was his crew. He always worked alongside his crew and they were a group of really nice, polite guys who were also very professional. The job took about four days and each day they cleaned up and left my property oin good order. I highly recommend Jared and ATX.

We love the construction of the new deck and he builds a beautiful deck. Our problem came with the fact that we told Jared that we wanted a clear seal on the deck. We paid $900 for Jared and his team to seal the deck. Not once did Jared get our approval to put anything but a clear colorless seal on the deck and all woodwork. Came home from work to see a stained deck, not what we had paid for. This was a beautiful Cedar deck that now has an ugly yellow/orange tinged. Not only that but there is a great deal of overspray on our siding as well as the our brick work. They did not tape of protect our house from the overspray. When I contacted Jared to ask him to come and correct the mistake from the color stain. He stated " it's clear read the bucket." I then sent him a picture showing what was actually put on and it absolutely not clear but a brown. His response was that he researched it and went to many places. He stated he thought he did what was right. The problem is that he never discussed it with us the home owners and we were the ones that were paying for it. Stated that the product was here for a week and we should have gone looking for it. In closing he stated that if I had to put a bad review to feel better then go ahead. I replied and told him in no way would I feel better about leaving a negative review. Though if you are thinking about building a deck then they are great at construction. Not great about cleaning up. We are still finding nails and screws in our yard weeks later. Jared does not understand to get home owner approval before varying from what has been agreed upon. Jared does not stand by his work guarantee. He refuses to come out and correct his mistake. Instead he wanted to place blame for his mistake on his customer. This is not a way to do business. We will not recommend to others. He refuses to help find a solution to the problem!

I called up ATX fence replacement service 2 weeks ago. Call was never received directly. always have to leave a message. and the lady is nice, tries to get backs to us when ever she has time. I was given an appointment time for the estimation the next week after the call. A guy came for the estimation and my mom is at home. He said he is going to send an estimation for fence replacement through email but never received one. I had to remind them 3 times, but never received an estimation- not a professional act.

I was being sued by my neighbor for fence damage and I needed an estimate for the damages. I sent these guys a picture of the damage, and asked for an estimate, with the understanding that no work would actually be done. I just needed estimates for the court. Even though there was nothing to be gained by helping me, they still took time to look at the damage and send me a quote. I asked quite a few repairmen for an estimate, and most just ignored me. But they helped me out even when they had nothing to gain. I think that says a lot about someone.

The job was a very big project. Our deck had to be completely demolished. It had deteriorated considerably, and only a small amount of the structure could be reused. Jared and his team were very careful with the demolition so that no damage to my home was done. All of the old decking was replaced with 2X10 frame beams, 6X6 cedar support posts, and 5/4 cedar deck boards. All of the wooden handrails were replaced with 36 inch iron panels. The fence portion of the project consisted of tearing out and hauling away the old fence. The new fence was built using horizontal style number 2 cedar pickets and 4X4 cedar posts. Throughout the entire project Jared and his team were extremely open with their communications and were very accommodating with all of our requests. When the work was completed, the deck and fence were stunning in their appearance. Jared is meticulous in his work, and it shows in the final results. My wife and I would not hesitate to use or recommend Jared's services again.

We were a small job at the end of a long day. The team of two did an excellent job with the installation of our fence. They even measured and filled the irregularly slanted openings left by the regular fencing where it met the house. They exceeded my expectations and I will be using them when we can replace the remaining fence in our yard.

Called Jared for a small fence repair. He arranged for a prompt meeting. He evaluated the fence in need of repair. Gave me an honest evaluation and stated that the entire fence did not need to be replaced. He fixed the fence immediately for a fair price. I recommend Jared without reservation. He's an honest guy and I'll definitely call him when I need my entire fence replaced.

I am over the moon happy with the work of Atx Fence and Deck. I hired them to put up a privacy fence, build a dog run and construct a deck and cover for one of my dogs who unfortunately, does not get along with my other dogs. At the time of our first meeting, I could see that Jared truly understood my vision and was more than willing to be flexible and work with me to make sure that it came out as I wanted. There is something to be said for a business owner who actually does the work himself. Because he was one of the ones doing the work, he was always there and open to making modifications if need be. Jared and Steffan were meticulous and professional. I was able to observe every step of the way and they never made me feel like a ?silly female? for requesting small changes to the plan. The project took five days to complete and at the end of each day, all materials were picked up and my yard kept clean. The finished project came out even better than I had hoped for.

I love my new fence! What a difference in how the whole yard looks! I've had compliments from both friends and neighbors. Jared & the guys did a great job. There were many tree roots and rocks along the back of my property, so digging post holes wasn't easy. There was also a slight slope where the soil had eroded. The guys built up and fortified that area so that the bottom of the new fence did not have a gaping hole under it like the old fence did. They used quality materials, were very efficient, finished in a timely manner, and cleaned up thoroughly. I will definitely use Atx for future projects, and now I can't wait to get started!

He was prompt and polite. Lot of times with contractors that is my biggest issue. They don't come when they say they are going to come. He was back when he said he would be back and took care of it and it was all taken care off. I would use them again in the future.

It went fine. They were fine. They were here on time. Here in Texas usually if you call up, you are lucky if anybody calls you back. They did fine. They came in and did what they said they were going to do. They got the job done on time and I had no problems with them at all.

it went great, Jared called back within an hour of me leaving a message. he came out that day to look at the job, we discussed what i was looking for and came up with an agreeable price for the work. fence looks beautiful, and was a quality install. we are very happy and would definitely recommend them to our friends

Fence looks great! Gates are sturdy and well constructed. Work was completed quickly and the job was started and done when they said it would be. These guys build great fences and you will be happy with results.

Great job! They really paid attention to details. I loved their redo of the trellis, which was an updated look using deck boards.

The whole interaction went extremely well. Jared came out as scheduled, discussed options for replacement materials (such as metal posts, treated rails) and gave me a cost before he left. Once we agreed upon a start date, he was there as scheduled and the work was accomplished in two days. The fence work was done well. I don't know anyone could do better. I am very happy with his work and the fence. I will definitely use him again, and recommend him.

They were prompt, timely and very professional. Also they're very quick and very thorough with their quote.

The fence took about 3 days longer than they had proposed which created some issues with neighbors and corralling the dogs. All in all, the fence looks great.

The meeting at the house went fine. Jared seems to be a very knowledgeable, experienced person. He's very personable and offered up some good suggestions and alternatives for repairing my gate that keeps dragging the ground and the supporting posts that continue to warp more & more. After talking over options and ideas, we settled on a straight rip & replace of the gate and section of fence. He said he had several estimates to put together, so it would likely be the following day when he would get one out to me. That was fine as I wasn't in an immediate rush. Haven't heard from him in over a month. I can't complain too much since I haven't given any effort to contact him to follow up.

The ATX team showed up when they said they would and discussed the best way to construct our roof. The installation was complicated by needing to tie one side into an exisitng roof. ATX Fence and Deck completed the job in 5 days. They used good quality materials and kept the worksite very clean. The end product looks great and is built solid. I will use them again for any future carpentry work.

Jared and his crew were professional and did good work. The materials he initially got the job were not up to his standards so he got new and better materials. From start to finish, he was on schedule. He was also good at communication. The final result was beyond my expectations-- quality work. I enjoyed visiting with the fellas. They were kind to me and my entire family. I think I'm going to have them back for more work in the near future.

Contacted this company on two separate days, leaving two phone numbers where I could be contacted since he did not answer the phone. I left a detailed description of the job for which we wanted an estimate and he never returned the calls.
