Description of Work: Jared did a great job building a beautiful deck. The quality of his work is excellent. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. He did everything he promised to do and in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: They tore down old fence and put up new fence - minus gate (replaced previously). No complaints at all. Gave me separate bids for all sides as I had to deal with neighbor's.

Description of Work: Tore out and removed old fence. Replaced posts, horizontal bars and all slats with good quality cedar. Built new gate with auto-closing spring. Went above and beyond to stain neighbor's side of the fence so I could have entire fence replaced as I wished.

Description of Work: I wanted to replace my deck. ATX gave me a reasonable price, but the price did not include staining the deck or painting the replacement railings. I wasn't interested in having two different providers working on the same project and potentially blaming each other if something went wrong.

Description of Work: Called and spoke with Jared at ATX Fence & Deck on a Friday. We spoke about getting an estimate on replacing a wood privacy fence in the backyard. He said he could come out and take a look and provide an estimate. We agreed to meet the following Monday, three days later, and I provided him my telephone number and address. He was running twenty minutes late, so I called -- no answer, so I left him a voicemail with my telephone number and address. An hour later, he hadn't shown and still no call back, days later. Don't bother, unless you want to waste your time. If he can't deliver on a 15 minute meeting, he certainly won't deliver on a job. You've been warned!

Description of Work: Jared installed a new back fence at my house in So Austin in June 2011 and I have only good things to say about the experience. He was prompt and knowledgeable when I called for an estimate. He showed up on time, completed the job as promised and I am very happy with the result. I might have saved a few dollars (not many tho) if I'd gone with the "big" company but I'm really glad that I chose the local, small businessman.

Description of Work: Spoke with Jared and he was supposed to call me on Oct 17 and come to my house on the 18th. He has yet to call or show up. If you can't bother to call back then I don't consider you to be dependable or reliable must less trustworthy. I can not hire someone like that.

Description of Work: Jared replaced our fence as well as repair on our patio cover that had rotted wood from a leak, including re-shingle and decking repair. He and his crew did an excellent job. Jared was very responsive, professional and skilled.

+ 1 moreJared came out and bid job....was a tad over budget for me, but he worked with me and made adjustments. Was a very nice person and I was impressed with how eager he was to do this job and knew exactly how I wanted it to look. His crew came out on time, on date scheduled....extremely effficient and i was able to see a cppl of jobs they did before too to ensure I made the right decision. Posts were dug beyond 2', higher quality was used--not cheap wood, and final touches look awesome! He was courteous to my neighbors who inquired and I hope does their fence too! I'd like to hire him when budget permits to do an Arbor as I saw a job he did and was beautiful. Thank you Jared for working with me on such a tight budget for a fence so large! Great guys, and I will definately use them in future and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Needed existing fence extended to legal property line. Slope involved and drainage issues. Wanted a pretty top capped fence to screen off new construction in back and open up new space. Wanted to make sure top materials used and site cleaned every day.
