Two Men And A Truck Dallas

I've heard that business model that you can get fast n good, cheap n good, or fast n cheap. But, you can't get all three. Well, yesterday, using Two Men and a Truck (we actually had Three Men), we broke that axiom. It's like we hit the Lottery! Keith, Lamar, and Alvin were punctual, polite, and precise. Moving never felt so smooth! Thanks!

1.5 boys and a customer service mess I never write reviews. I am so outraged and disgusted with my move experience and subsequent customer service. I hope this can prevent even one person from having this headache. I did a small and in-town move from North Dallas to Dallas. Going from a 2 bedroom condo to a 2 bedroom condo. The job was estimated to take 3-5 hours, it took 10. The two boys (very young men) complained the entire time about the steps in our new home. They dragged boxes along our new wood floor, and were not outfitted or prepared for the job (they also took off their masks despite multiple requests to keep them on). You hire movers so you don’t have to deal with the added labor/stress. You hire professionals so they can come in with some hustle and take care of you. This was not the case. We could go on for pages – but in essence 1) they didn’t complete the move (they had to leave items at the old home because there was not enough room) 2) they self-admitted forgot the hand trollies and moving equipment that would have saved us hours (time and money), 3) they were not in shape or physically capable of handling a small move within a reasonable amount of time. But -- the job was done. Now the real fun begins for us. I was contacted with a survey to which I replied “No, I wouldn’t recommend.” I was immediately contacted same day. Heard. Treated with respect. Excellent care and consideration. Without solicitation, I was offered a small partial credit to offset our awful experience. Hush money – fine. The move was beyond terrible but they cared, apologized, and were rectifying the situation as best they could. The next day I got a second, very aggressive call, saying the customer service person I spoke with was “unauthorized” and we are “getting nothing.” He then hung up on me. Again, we never asked for anything, only completed an honest survey. Color us perplexed and amazed at what just transpired. My realtor, who referred us, called his rep in the company and escalated this matter. The following week I got a call from a regional manager who seemed to care, again, and he was going to “take care of this”. Another week later he called me back, aggressive, and said “nothing would be done” and also threw in, “What do you want from us?”. Again, this was all unsolicited by us, the clients who got the worst move ever. This company not only provided a terrible move, but then took us on a bipolar rollercoaster of multiple calls and promises, and ongoing offer retractions. We have whiplash from these conversations and lack of actual action to resolve. We have never experienced anything like this. Terrible move, wasted time, multiple (unsolicited) conversations that would turn aggressive. There is nothing logical about the situation, very bizarre handling, top to bottom. Terrible experience, subsequent unethical behavior, horrendous service and lack of care. Never again. Save yourself the trouble. Use a different company. Get real movers.

On the original estimate I had a 54" riding lawn mower (a very expensive and very serious piece of equipment). One, they told me to ensure I drained the gas - which I did, but they never said anything about draining the oil until the day off. Well that's a problem, because the tools I would have used to drain the oil were already packed up and loaded onto the truck. Secondly, they sent a truck with a broken lift gate so they had no way to load this equipment they had known about for 1.5 months. Third, they argued with me about loading the riding mower for over an hour while they were on the clock. Now eventually, they gave me that hour back in billing. However, that hour of wasted time meant they were driving from Ft. Worth to Garland in peak rush hour traffic and it took them 2 hours to get to Garland instead of the usual 45 minutes. Now, I left at the same time they did from storage in North Richland hills at 5pm, and the other truck they sent to pickup the riding mower left my house in Ft. Worth at 5:35pm and he arrived with the mower in Garland at 6:35 right after I arrived at 6:06. The truck coming with all my other stuff from storage arrived just before 7pm. So they charged me the full 2 hours of transit time. Do you see a problem with that? I certainly do. I don't care that the truck from storage sat in traffic most of that 2 hours barely moving. That's not my fault. It's their fault for not being prepared for taking the riding mower on the first truck. It's their fault for wasting an hour arguing with me about taking the riding mower in the first place which pushed their leaving from storage for over an hour causing them to leave in peak traffic. It's their fault for being stupid enoiugh to take 635 in peak traffic when they could have saved at least an hour by taking George Bush instead. I shouldn't have to pay for their incompitence. Then they said they would call me first thing in the morning 9/30 to discuss shaving some of the transit time off. Instead, they billed my AMEX for the full amount knowing it was in dispute. So they lied to me. I will be disputing this charge via AMEX now.

these guys were a dream. they work fast and got us out of our condo into our first home in a matter of hours. they acted like everything was there own it. they even clean up the mess from the first moving company who got mad at the other condo residents. the other company broke several item and didnt inform us. these guys point out ever nick, scratch and bing. which were not many. thanks guys you are great. Arrived on time. Took about an hour longer than quoted. Since we had 5 glass curios we expected the move to take longer. Unfortunately two items were damaged. The corner of our entertainment center was damaged and one of the glass curios was broken. The entertainment center was quickly repaired - an excellent job by their contractor. Someone quickly came out to access the damage to the curio cabinet. However it took way to long to have the final repair. The end result was very good. I have downgraded their rating for responsiveness, because I had to call two time to check the schedule for the glass repair by their contractor. I would use this contractor again.

moved a neighbor and damaged one of the neighbor's mailboxes and drove truck up curb into my yard and rutted it. Crew ignored damage to mailbox and did not leave note with neighbor for damaged box though I suggested it to them. They did not check my yard to see if they damaged sprinkler heads. I called their Dallas office about incident and the lack of responsibility by crew. Told they would send someone out and as of the following saturday had not contacted my neighbor and told him what happened. Neighbor ended calling them and geting run around and do not know if they ever sent anyone. I have offered my neighbor pictures of the truck and to be a witness (I watched it happen out my window) to report hit and run by the company driver.

They handled large dressers. They were cheerful, outgoing, very customer friendly.

I've used them a couple of times. They did a perfectly good job. They were good to deal with. They were on time. I've used them before and will use them again.

.It was horrible. We will never use them again. The price would have been good if the service was good.
