THE RIGHT APPLIANCES

I called on Friday afternoon. Shortly after 9:00 am, Mike called and said he would come to Allen and be there around 10:00 am. He arrived at 10:15, fixed the washer, and was on his way within 30 minutes. I also asked them to quote on new refrigerator/freezer, microwave and double oven. I have a great deal of faith in their service.

From the first call to writing the check, I was very pleased. Everyone was friendly, professional, and honest to a fault. The pricing was very fair. I would certainly call them back again for appliance repairs.

They were wonderful. We had a great experience with them. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Mike came out within a few hours of my call, checked out the problems, ordered the parts and returned later that afternoon to install the parts. Something else was wrong with the dishwasher, so he ordered another part and returned the next day to install that. He gave me credit for the first part, and his prices were very fair. While checking out the ovens we had a power problem which he traced to our electrical panel, and he waited while I called an electrician who arrived quickly. Between the two of them, they got the job done. Another company wanted twice the $$ for the service call, would be three days getting to us, and they only offer a 90 day warranty on the parts and charge more for them as well. Mike gives a 1 yr warranty! Best of all, the dogs really love the guy - and dogs are a great judge of character! No wonder those other repairmen don't have anything to do - Mike's getting their business.

Mike did a good job of troubleshooting the problem, provided good information about our options, and even dropped his price $50 on the used range. The price for the service call seemed reasonable. We decided to purchase a new range from the Sears Outlet. My son (electrical engineer) and I installed a new 240 volt service, outlet, breaker, and cable, which was necessary for this type of dual fuel range. We had called this company before, searching for a lint filter for our washer. Mike didn't have one but referred us to a place that did, where we bought one for $10.

Mike did a great job, even though it was a frustrating job for him. He answered my call promptly, and set up an appointment for that afternoon. I live in a high traffic area during rush hour traffic and he agreed to come during that time even though he knew it would take him twice as long to get home at that time. He determined that yes, it was the PCB, and ordered the part that evening. He came back the next day but discovered upon opening the box that the parts distributor had sent him the wrong board, which meant a trip downtown (40 minutes away) and a trip back to my house during rush hour. Again, he agreed to come back during that time. Once he got the board in the oven still didn't work, which meant that the high heat sensor blew and probably the safety fuse. So, off to the parts distributor and back to my house the following day. Finally, success! Which meant pulling my double oven out of the wall cabinet to replace the sensor and safety fuse. Great job Mike!

Very reliable. I called at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon, and Mike came out that same day, a few hours later. Work was very professional, fast, and reasonably priced. We've called Mike before for our dryer, and were equally satisfied.

Mike came on a Saturday, was on time and was extremely helpful. He tried a conservative fix first and did not try to over treat the problem. I've already recommended him to my neighbor.

Great Value. he was caught in traffic, a little late, but he did call. He was very conscientious and capable.

Pleasant and on time, but I think they sold me my second choice model only because they didn't have the first choice in stock, and told me it would not fit in the space.

Excellent service. Came the same day, at 5:00 pm no less! Called at 5:05 to say he was caught in traffic, but was on the way, and apologized! Arrived about 5:25. Very clean and quick. And only charged me the $45 minimum, I guess because it was a simple problem. While he was there he gave us some other tips about water filter too.

Mike was VERY polite. He explained to me what he was going to have to replace and why. I called him on the 4th of July, he called me back 1st thing the next morning. That day he came out and fixed my washing machine, but had to order the parts for the fridge (of which he came back with the following day). He cleaned up behind himself. Great person!

Very, very pleased both with the price, the range and the install work. I have gotten a number of compliments about the new range, and how seamless it looks with the old counter top. It was a small space and difficult to work in. The guys were on time, friendly, professional, and cleaned up after themselves.

Excellent. The day I called was the day an ice storm was going through Dallas and the repairman said he would try to get to us that night. I told him no big hurry we could wait a day. He called back later that evening and told me he would be out the next day by noon. He was able to come out the next day and fix our appliances within an hour.

MIKE WAS ON TIME AND WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK. HE QUICKLY DETERMINED THE MOTOR WAS GONE. HE SAID THAT IF THE MOTOR DID NOT VIBRATE DURING THE DRAIN PHASE OF THE CYCLE, IT WAS NOT FIXABLE AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THAT MY STACKING UNIT WAS A COMPOSITE: MAYTAG NAME, GE MOTOR, AND ETC. HE HAD TO LEAVE THE PREMISES TO PURCHASE THE REPLACEMENT MOTOR AND DID NOT CHARGE FOR THE TIME OR TRIP TO HIS SUPPLIER. HE WAS VERY TIDY AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. MIKE ALSO EXPLAINED HIS COMPANY'S POLICY REGARDING THE DISTANCE TO A CUSTOMER'S HOME. IT WAS A VERY AGREEABLE EXPERIENCE. I REALLY FEEL I RECEIVED VALUE FOR MY TIME AND MONEY. THIS IS THE FIRST REPAIR TO THIS STACKING UNIT IN OVER 13 YEARS AND, I DO ENJOY LEARNING ABOUT MY APPLIANCES. BRAVO TO RIGHT APPLIANCES. I WILL USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN!

APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULE WITHIN 24 HOURS. THEY CALLED EARLY TO LET ME KNOW THEY WOULD BE ARRIVING LATER, BUT STILL IN THE ORIGINAL TIME WINDOW. THEN THEY CALLED AGAIN TO LET ME KNOW THEY WOULD ARRIVE IN 10 MINUTES (MUCH APPRECIATED WITH BIG DOGS!) THE TECHNICIAN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY THOROUGH, TAKING THE DRIER APART TWICE TO MAKE SURE THAT EVEN THE QUIETEST SQUEAK WAS ELIMINATED.

VERY FRIENDLY AND DID MAKE SURE MOTOR AND PUMP WERE INSTALLED PROPERLY AND WORKING PROPERLY. NOT PROMPT AS FAR AS TIME OF APPT. WOULD CALL TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE RUNNING LATE BUT THIS WAS AFTER THE APPT TIME. THEY DID OFFER ME A NEW SILVERWARE CONTAINER AT 1ST SERVICE CALL. WHEN CAME BACK TO INSTALL PART SAID THEY FORGOT IT BUT I COULD COME TO THE STORE. WHEN I CAME TO THE STORE HE WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME $20. I TOLD HIM HE HAD PROMISED ME EARLIER HE WOULD GIVE IT TO ME BUT HAD FORGOTTEN IT. HE THEN SAID HE DIDN'T HAVE ONE. IN A FEW MINUTES HE WENT TO THE BACK AND FOUND ONE AND GAVE IT TO ME.

DID NOT SEEM TO REALLY WANT TO ACQUIRE A NEW CUSTOMER, AND NOT VERY COURTEOUS.

A LITTLE SLOW IN RESPONDING TO PHONE CALL, DUE TO MISUNDERSTANDING OF PHONE NUMBER. WAS PROMPT IN SERVICE CALL APPOINTMENT. OFFERED INFORMATION AND ADVICE ON KEEPING DISH WASHER IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.

I CALLED AT ABOUT 10 AM. MIKE CALLED ABOUT 3PM TO SAY HE WAS ON THE WAY. HE ARRIVED IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES (WITH THE CORRECT PARTS!!) AND WAS FINISHED, INCLUDING CLEANUP, BY 4:30 PM. I WAS CHARGED $45 FOR THE SERVICE CALL AND ONLY $20 FOR LABOR, WHICH I THINK WAS VERY REASONABLE.
