STONE AGE GRANITE-MARBLE-TILE

Dolores was extremely nice. She came out and measured and told me they would install on Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday morning (after taking a day off work) and she apologized and told me they were not finished with the fabricating and would be out Wednesday. morning. I had to take another day off work. They arrived at 8:15 a.m. and did a great job. I was charged for a "plumber" that was really just the installer, not a plumber. It looks great and I'm happy with the job overall.

Denise was wonderful to work with. Incredibly responsive and offered great advice. Abraham was always on time, polite, and very professional. Received several different bids and so glad I went with Stone Age!

The first was excellent. In fact, I was surprised to see that I failed to write a great review. They redid my kitchen countertops, installed the backsplash, an undermount sink, and disposal. I have been extremely pleased, which is why being a return customer was so important to me. I dealt with Jennifer, who promptly scheduled a visit, came out and looked at what I had, had someone come to draw a template, and gave me a bid that was competitive with others I received at the time. They worked quickly and well over a year later, I am still very pleased. A few months ago, I stopped by to inquire about having some type of shelf installed in my shower area. I found the lady helping me to be rather unhelpful, so I asked for Jennifer by name, and the lady said it was her or nobody, so I left. Recently, I built an outdoor kitchen on a covered patio and of course, wanted Stone Age to do my countertops. I have stopped by Stone Age several times. But have yet to catch anyone there. I contacted the rude lady via phone, who said she was busy and to try back later. When I did, I had taken some pics of what I had seen while wondering around the shop alone and gave her all my dimensions. She called me back with a quote of 44/sq ft. I explained that this seemed very high as compared to what I had paid previously. She went into this long shpeel about how the P&L was negative on my job before and that is why Jennifer, the friendly one, is no longer there and that they have to make a profit. I explained how much I liked their work and that perhaps I had chosen an expensive piece of rock. She then informed me that her best quote on the cheapest material would be $35/sqft, still far higher than I see at Lowes or Home Depot. When I told her that, she said well they might be able to match if I get a better deal somewhere else. I give up on you guys. I am very disappointed because frankly, I like doing business in my town, but I won't ever pay premium to do so. Additionally, if a sales person does not want to make a sale, that is a problem.

Called Kurtis and he came next day for estimate. They were able to get started right away. Every person that entered my home was professional, respectful of our home and worked diligently. Each worker asked approval before moving forward with details where options were involved. Kurtis was easy to reach throughout the process and really listened to our requests. Mike is a very talented young man and does very good work. Everyone was eager to please and their work was great !
