Excellent job on cutting hole in wall, removing studs, reworking electrical boxes and inserting the fireplace in wall. Clean and efficient job performed by very friendly crew.

We knew this was going to be a major project. Scott visited with us, listened to our requests and came up with a plan. The second you open your front door and meet Scott, you'll like him. But the true test of a contractor is how he interacts and performs during the project. Scott and his team were professional, flexible and quick to respond. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves. The project was just completed (April) and we can't wait for winter.

It was cost effective and they were professional. They did good work. I believe he does fireplace installs, not only the decorative stones.

Scott tried really hard to figure out a way for me to add a fireplace to my living room, but it was too difficult. He absolutely could have done the work, but it would mean the firebox would do one of two things. Either have to jut out into my small living room and require a whole new mantle, or we'd have to break through the outside brick of my house to accommodate the firebox. I decided not to continue with the work, but Scott was wonderful! So helpful and really wanted to figure out a better way to give me what I wanted. He responded to all my questions and emails immediately and came all the way out to my house to see my existing mock fireplace setup. I would recommend him to anyone. Very personable, very knowledgeable and reliable.

Scoot and Neal were prompt for both the initial viewing and proposal stage in June 2014 as well as the three day work execution in October 2014. Contractors were careful (demo), professional and completed the work safely and with good quality in the three day window of time (as quoted). The end product was actually slightly below the quoted cost (reduced scope on sheet rocking). Final cost was $1750 for labor only. Functionality of new fireplace was tested.

Scott and Neal showed up on time for both the estimate and both days of the job. They were courteous and professional. The job required a lot of demolition and they handled it exceptionally well. My wife and I are extremely happy with the results. We plan on installing a flat screen tv in the newly renovated space. We would strongly recommend them to our friends and family and have already done so.

Very well. Scott was very professional. He was very fair on pricing and would actually let our cats out after he was finished for the day. We worked through the whole process and were never concerned. Plus, the end product turned out perfect.

Scott came highly recommended from a local fireplace store. He was prompt with coming out to look at our project as well as getting us a quote, and he had no problem returning to our home to nail down additional details and to ensure he, my husband, and I were all on the same page. We agreed on a labor only price (wood would be included) but he was still willing to pick up all the supplies we bought from the fireplace store. He paid extremely close attention to detail. He was diligent with his framing, ensuring the studs were spaced out to best suit our TV mount and adding a lot of additional support to hold it. He came up with the idea of setting the TV slightly inside the wall (which was more work for him, but does look beautiful) and did not charge us any more money. He also ran our gas line, installed the firebox, the flue and chimney. When it was time for drywalling, he did an outstanding job, he matched out existing round corners perfectly, made the interior corners 90 degrees, and sanded it beautifully. During this project we were also quoting out cabinets, Scott gave us a quote and we went with him. He did a wonderful job building 2 identical cabinets to flank our fireplace. The cabinets were rather large (27inches deep by 5 feet wide) and an obscure shape (an odd pentagon.) He was amazing and maticulous. He made all the interior holes to allow for venting and wires to be run so that all our electronics could be housed. He spaced the shelves out to fit everything perfectly. Two sides on each cabinet are rather large and he came up with the idea of adding bead board to dress them up, I love it! He did a fantastic job helping me achieve my goal of the having the cabinets appear to be furniture. The doors, the legs, and the bead board make them beautiful and the shelves, wire and venting holes, and size makes them functional. In addition to his quality of work he is also very neat, he cleaned up everyday whether he was working in our home or garage, he also let our 2 kittens out of their locked room before leaving! He let himself in and out each day, and I never felt uncomfortable. We were so happy we gave Scott a little extra money to show him our grattitude.
