One of the core values of Ram Jack, a family-owned business, is quality first. To achieve the highest quality, we embarked on a research and development program to produce a repair system that would stand the test of time. From the first phone call until the final inspection on a completed job, Ram Jack’s professionals are pledged to providing the most outstanding service. When a technician comes to your home, you should expect him or her to collect a large amount of data. An expert foundation repair specialist will discuss your areas of concern and perform an evaluation both inside and outside your home to get a full picture of the underlying issues concerning your foundation failure. We will provide you with a wide range of options necessary to repair residential or commercial structures from the various problems caused by clay soils prevalent throughout the U.S. A “Commitment to Excellence” based on strict quality control procedures is incorporated into all aspects of the day-to-day operations. We have the experience to guarantee our work with a Lifetime Transferable Warranty which is backed by the strength of Ram Jack Texas and the Ram Jack Dealers Association National Limited Warranty Trust, meaning you have access to warranty repairs, if they should arise, regardless of the status of your installing Ram Jack dealer. That’s peace of mind. *Real Estate transactions may be subject to a fee.
Be aware of the warranty fraud and bad advertising. The advertising says they stand behind the structure. We have a wall that is in the middle of the area they raised and they did not put piers in the wall. This was a miss on the engineers part that should have had piers. The new engineer that came out said he wasn't the initial engineer and wasn't responsible for the miss. The new engineer said that they only warranty the pier and not the structure of the area the pier is in. (miss advertising). We would have had no problem purchasing additional piers at the time they were installed. Now they want to sell additional piers to fix there miss which is wrong. Be very aware that once they sell you piers if you have any issues in the area they fix is to sell more piers instead of standing behind the structure they fixed.

Everything went well, they worked in a timely manner and with utmost courtesy from start to finish. Clayton was the representative that we worked with and he was very straight forward with his assessment. They were not the cheapest contractor nor the most expensive but the money was well worth the service.

Had a 3" Grade Difference between High and Low Corners. Installed 8 Piers on the NE Corner of House. Pricing was pretty high, but I believed in the product as it was sold to me. They've been in business for quite some time and will likely be for the foreseeable future. With a lifetime transferrable warranty I think I made a good choice.

It could not have been better. Ramjack installed 26 piers in two and one half days. The work was professional, yet friendly, from the sales person to the crew that installed the piers. I will confidently refer my friends and family to Ramjack.

All work was done well, as predicted, and on time. I was pleased with the foreman's concern for aesthetic results. Clean up was satisfactory. More than 2 months later there is no sign of movement. It's guaranteed for life to not move anymore. I've already repaired the exterior brick work but am gradually fixing the floors and sheetrock/painting. Our fresh water main broke next to the slab when the house was raised. Not a major repair. Sewer system tested intact afterward. I was and am convinced that the Ram Jack method is the best for my house regardless of cost. Observing the expert installation of 100s of feet of steel piles to support my foundation was fascinating and reassuring that we have restored the equity value of our house.
Description of Work: Slab foundation leveling/stabilizing. 31 piles, most pressed 42 feet down to bedrock. 3 piles were installed in interior rooms with little disruption. Ornamental wall around carport was saved from collapse by installation of helical piles.

They arrived on time and did the work within the time frame they told me it would take. They hand dug the holes. They put the dirt on tarps to avoid damage to my lawn. They even had to dig up a shrub in front of my home. Its been three weeks and the shrub is still alive. It did rain all night before the work and even some during the work. I chose not to reschedule and did have some marks in the lawn from the worker walking back and forth. But I was expecting that to happen.
Description of Work: Needed foundation in one corner of my home. Had 4 companies come out to bid. All 4 told me the same thing and all were within $400 of each other. I picked Ram Jack because of how they preformed the work. The people who came and did the work were all employees of the company.

her know that I wasn't sure how she could take my name off the appointment book when she hadn't even asked my name! She found it and said she would remove it. With as many foundation repair companies as there are, I was stunned! Maybe business is booming and this is acceptable. The referral to RamJack was from a neighbor, so we were happy to give them a shot, but after that call, NO WAY!
Description of Work: Nothing. After a neighbor referred us, we called RamJack to provide an estimate for foundation repairs at my mom's house. After they no showed at our first appointment and then rescheduled for a time when neither my husband were available, I called to reschedule the appointment to a time when I could be there. I provided all of the details to the woman who answered the phone (don't know her name.) I gave three dates trying to get another 5 p.m. time slot (the original time slot we were given on the wrong day) because I work and when the third one didn't work, I asked her to work with me since they had no showed on our first appointment. She asked me to hold, I said fine and thank you, and when the phone was picked up again it was by someone named Stephanie, who just gave me her name and did not even ask me for any information. When there was silence I finally asked if the first person had given her my information. She said she was in a meeting and had paged her (Stephanie) to answer the phone. I let her know that I had been speaking to the previous person for about 15 minutes to schedule a 5 p.m. appointment after a no show. When she continued to be abrupt, I let her know that she could take us off the books for the appointment (the one still listed at the wrong time.) She said no problem, and HUNG UP! I couldn't believe it! I called back immediately, Stephanie answered the phone, and I let

The overall dealings with them have been excellent so far. They came out but they have a really nice folder with their name and foundation solutions. They have been in business a long time. He did a very detailed drawing of the house with where the tiers would go. Theirs was a much more reasonable plan. Price is a little high. He had to cancel the first appointment. He said they had an emergency out of town with a company. He apologized over and over. He was articulate. Answered every since question without any hesitancy. He showed us a video online about the company and how they are installing piers in a persons home.

In 2004 we had 18 steel piers installed around the outside of our house, the shallowest was 12 feet but the deepest was 46 feet. At that time Ram Jack recommended that we have piers installed in the center of the house (slab) but we were still working (felt we could not interrupt our working life) and did not have enough money to do that much work. In the following 8 years the outside piers have done well but the center of the house has sagged. By 2012 I had retired and my wife's employer went out of business, so now we have the time and enough money we can afford to repair the center of the house. In November 2012 we interviewed six companies and decided on Ram Jack again, at a bottom line cost of $8790.00. In December 2012 Ram Jack took one day and put 8 holes in my slab. Bay two they pushed the steel in all 8 holes and connected all 8 hydraulic machines together, once connected they raised all 8 at the same time leveling the slab and closing the gaps between ceilings and walls. All 8 were 46 feet deep again. Then they closed up the 8 holes with the dirt that came out and closed them up with cement. I was amazed that all the companies described how the slab was built under the surface were different. But once the holes were in the slab I saw that Ram Jack was the only one that described it exactly as what I was looking at. We now have had six months for the house to settle and all the doors and windows with the exception of one settled back in to the original setting and are working correctly again. The one bedroom to the hall door that did not latch correctly after the leveling and settling needs a 1/16th of an inch adjustment then it will work. In summary even though I expect never to have to do this again o this house in the 20 to 40 years I have left, I would use them on any other house I may own in the future.

Bad! No work was done. As it turned out it was not needed! It was a water leak! They would have torn up wood floors and put in very expensive piers for nothing!
Description of Work: We had a townhouse inspected before buying. Sellers had contract with Ramjack. I had concerns about the foundation because of some slope in upstairs hall. They came out to check it said it was fine. We paid to have the contract put in our name. Less than a year later ithe wall looked like there had been an earthquake, a huge jagged horizontal crack across one wall and cracks all over. Some doors swung open and others were stuck shut. The door frames didn't match up with the doors. Etc. etc. etc. Ramjack guy came out and said we needed to have lots of holes drilled in the floor the length of the house and more piers put in the center of the house for over a thousand dollars each and the contract we had with them did NOT cover this. The guy seemed kind of slippery. Needless to say we consulted another foundation company which I will write a report on. I was extremely disappointed in Ramjack! The contract was useless.

We very impressed with the level of service. Refer to the details above.
Description of Work: We had used Ram Jack for foundation repair on our home in 1998 and were very satisfied with their level of service and quality of work. This summer, we noticed two new cracks in our walls and decided to call Ram Jack once again. When I telephoned them, they were very courteous in scheduling someone to visit our home, make a survey of the situation with our foundation, and provide us an action plan and quotation for the work. The customer representative called about 15 minutes prior to our appointment time and then arrived on schedule. We initially discussed our concerns and the issues we had noticed. He asked a number of questions and then made his detailed survey of our home. He checked every wall in the home, opened and closed every door, performed an inspection of the outside walls, and then made an "Elevation Priofile and Service Plan". This all took approximately one hour. He then sat down with us and discussed his findings. The bottom line recommendation was that no foundation repair work was necessary. He said that while there was some minimal movement in the foundation in one area, it wasn't significant enough that he would recommend any repairs. He had concerns that the addition of any piers might create new problems with the foundation in another area. He closed by saying that his job was to sell foundation repair but, if if were his home, he woulndn't do anything. We were very impressed with the service. We were prepared to move forward with any recommended foundation repairs. Today, you don't find many companies who will turn down business because it wasn't in the best interest of the customer. We would highly recommend Ram Jack for any foundation repair work.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Salesman clearly explained the process involved and the reasons why the method to be used was appropriate. Work was done on time as promised, which was critical, as I had 2 other contractors lined up around this work (deck removal, patio installation, and flooring). Installation crew was professional, courteous, and did a great job of keeping the house and yard clean despite the messy work to be done. The foreman on the crew was very knowledgeable and explained each step in the process to me as they did the work. He made sure I was there to see the critical stages of the work. They left the house amazingly clean given the work that had to be done. Great communication from the office staff, including around scheduling, financing, and final inspections. Price was not the cheapest, but I was not looking for the cheapest on this work. I hope I never need them again, but would use them again and will recommend them.
Description of Work: Foundation repair on one end of the house, including 3 interior piers and 13 outside. Interior piers included two in our bedroom and 1 in the garage. Portion of the house was lifted over 2".

I completely recommend them. They were always professional, and fast; even though there was a lot of work that was done inside the house, and I needed new pillars in everything may be for two rooms, and that's a lot of work. Even at night they would pull all the dirt out, so that I could still move around the house, and that was really cool.

They repaired the foundation of my house and they installed some steel pier beams. I would absolutely recommend them and they did a great job. The service went very smoothly. I took six estimates for this job and this guy was the most impressive and most prepared. The people came out and did the work and they showed up on time. They finished when they said they would get done and they didn't leave a mess. They did a really professional job. As a follow up when I made the payment they reduced the price. They said they didn't do a couple of things that they thought they would have to do. It was a good experience. I still can't determine the quality but then it looks good.

This bulging first started happening 4 or 5 years ago. I called them 3 or 4 times for warranty service to check if I was still level. I asked about this area and I was told it was just the house aging. The last technician that came out took elevations, and said that this area was where he had the most concern as it means that this indicates a leak in the foundation.
