Work seemed to progress fine the first day until the end of the day. Martin, the owner said he could use another bag of leveler, and my husband suggested we get it to make the floor level. But then Martin said he could just even it out with the glue. The next day he brought two different workers with him and they started laying the floor. Everything progressed fine through the week and they finished up on Friday, Sept 5. When Martin left he said he guaranteed his work for 6 months. On Saturday, I noticed that the floor cracked when you walked on it. Specifically in the main hallway area where he was supposed to even out the unlevel problem with the glue. I contacted Martin on Monday, Sept 8 and told him what was happening. He came out on Tuesday to take a look. His first response was that it was the glue I bought. He had never used that kind and it was probably not good. I explained to him that he installed over 850 sf of floor and that this one area was the only place that had a major problem so how could it be the glue. He then tried to say it was the floor I bought. After some discussion, he decided that he would repair the problem by drilling holes in my new floor and injecting it with liquid nails then refill the holes with caulk. I immediately told him no, that I did not want holes in my new floor. So he pulled up a few boards and replaced them and he drilled holes in some of my flooring and tried to inject liquid nails. He said he would come back to repair the remainder the next day. He came back on Wednesday and wanted to drill holes, but I told him no, again. He left to go get help and came back an hour and a half later. They pulled up 3 or four more boards and replaced them and when he cleaned up to leave, I noticed that he didn't pull up all the boards with the drilled holes. I told him that was unacceptable and that he should have taken all those boards up when he pulled up the ones in between them. He said he would come back to repair the other boards and I never heard from him again. The tile work was okay and looks nice. Appears to be level, but now I have a leak under the toilet. They hauled off most of the the trash, but I did find a heavy bag of trash up in the shrubs and just pieces of tile and wood on the front lawn where they cut it. Just a purely unprofessional job.

Their work was good, however we wouldn't personally use them again for the fact that they were extremely messy. It took longer for them than they quoted us. They took up the carpeting and we specifically asked if the price they quoted beforehand included taking it away. There was a language problem because they were Spanish. We ended up having to take the carpet, the busted tile and all their trash away. The work was fine other than it took longer than they said it would. The pricing was fair. They threw their trash on top of some of our bushes and the front lawn and they broke some of our bushes. None of the workers spoke English. The boss did and that was who we spoke to. The quality of the work was good. They did get back to us when we had questions. There were a few days when the main guy wasn't here and the workers couldn't figure out which was the glue and which was the grout. We had to end up calling him. One day the workers showed up and didn't do anything. As long as the main guy was here, they were working steadily. I would definitely not use them again.
