+ -1 moreCharging double the cost of a part is dishonest. That is what I wanted to convey to MARCEY. Also, his labor cost was too high for a 5 minute installation ( $89.00 ). Willing to pay a labor cost of $25.00. If he was willing to return $113.89, I would be satisfied.
Description of Work: I contacted MARCEY'S REFRIDGERATION & APPLIANCE SERVICE to determine where a leak was coming from on my Kenmore Washing Machine. He discovered that Drain Hose was damaged and leaking. His charge for the Drain Hose was $68.95. I asked why such a high price for a drain hose. "He said that they are making them different these days, corrugated". I paid cash $252.16. He returned the next day and put on the new hose. When looking online, I discovered that the hose runs from $16.80 - $29.99. I tried to contact the owner on three occasions to no avail ( by phone, by mail and by Certified Mail - he refused the certified letter).
