Description of Work: If given the option, I would give an A- (explained below), but overall we were very pleased with the work. We had 2 rooms sanded and refinished to match the color of existing wood floors, and damaged wood removed/replaced and stained to match existing floors in a third room. Price was competitive. Not the lowest quote we got, but very reasonable, and Dennis and his crew seemed very knowledgeable and honest. We are new to the house, so had no idea what the original stain was, and they did a great job matching the color to our existing floors (there is no barrier between the new and old floors, and the color is remarkably close). They also came up with a wood design for a transition between two rooms that turned out quite nice. My only complaint is that the finish (polyurethane top coat I believe) that they used is considerably more dull than the existing floors. I asked one of the workers about this, and he said that he had only applied the first coat, and it would look more shiny (i.e. like the floors in the rest of the house) after the next coat was applied. Not so. I called Dennis and left a message on his phone asking about whether it was possible to match the sheen of the polyurethane finish more closely, but he never got back to me (this was after we had already paid for the job). Thus, the A- and the low grade for responsiveness. Still, overall, I am pleased with the work, and will use them again in the future (I will just make sure that everything meets my super picky standards before the final payment).
