Description of Work: I took my 10 year old disabled chain saw to their shop. They agreed to evaluate the machine for $30. This was their busy season and the agreed upon status date was 3 weeks out. | |In about 4 weeks, they reported that the saw was not repairable. Given the age of the saw that was not unexpected. I asked that they dispose of the saw and they did.

 + -1 moreI took my Ryoby blower in for repair. The blower would only run at idle and would die anytime I throttled it up. I took it in and the attendant (I wish I had gotten his name) said it would be a $30 deposit which would be taken off the final bill and that it would be about 20 days before it was ready to pick up. As he was taking down my information and the information on the blower, he said, " Let me look at something." Then he took it out back, started it up and revved it up several times, killed it and brought it back to me. He said that the fuel line was loose and was sucking air. He pushed the fuel line further up the carburetor fuel intake and proclaimed it fixed -- nothing wrong with the blower. He suggested that the fuel like had come loose from vibration, and that I just need to keep an eye on it. When I asked him how much that would cost, he said, "No charge." I know where I'll be taking my lawn equipment for repair from now on -- fully expecting to pay for service rendered, but knowing that I will be treated fairly!

 + -1 moreGarlands was the worst experience I have ever had. My mower was not fixed and when I called back and was told to bring it back which I did, I was charged a second fee of $75.
Description of Work: I had Garland's fix my lawn mower which was leaking gas and would not start. When it was returned to me, it still leaked gas.

Description of Work: I took my lawnmower in on July 1st, as of today, August 13th, it has not been repaired. They waited two weeks to look at the lawnmower, before they ordered the parts. They say that the parts are on back-order from Sears. I do not understand why they did not look at the mower and order the parts immediately. They have been rude each time I call to ask about my mower.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY POLITE AND REASONABLY PRICED. THEY HAVE REPAIRED OTHER EQUIPMENT I HAVE, LIKE A WEED-EATER. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND SAVED ME MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.
