Very nice - explained what was needed, was able to get the parts and come back to do the repair a few days later.

Called on Thursday and agreed time for Friday. Nate turned up at the agreed time, did a great job. Looked at the same door openers on Amazon and their installation price and it was pretty close to what Nate quoted for the parts and labor for replacing two door openers. Would definitely use the company again

Worker came on time, diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs in about :20 minutes. This company is a life saver and has been at other times as well!

The service was exceptional. Even though he had to drive from the Garland area, he showed up on time. He checked everything thoroughly; lubricated tracks, rollers, hinges. No repairs were needed. The door now runs smoothly. He gave me suggestions on how to keep it in shape and gave suggestions on types of types of garage door openers when mine is no longer repairable. Mine is very, very old.

Nathan arrived at the schedule time. He asked some questions about how the door and opener were operating. I told him that the opener did not open and close the door as smoothly as it did before I had to replace the spring for the door last December. He went to work making adjustments to the door, lubricating parts, etc. When he was finished the door was working a lot smoother. I am happy with his work and will use them again when needed.

Fred showed up on time and went right to work. In about :30 minutes he was done and we both felt that door system would operate well for at least the next year. Routine maintenance.

He called to make the appointment for Thursday afternoon, then called back to see if an earlier time would work. He showed up right on the dot for the early time, very professional appearance. He gave me a price quote which I accepted - it was much lower than others advertise! He got his tools and the new spring out, went straight to work and had everything done in 25 minutes. He told me the chain was loose (I knew that), but he didn't see the normal signs of a worn sprocket. Tightening it could make it wear faster, so I agreed with his advise that it should stay as it is until it eventually fails (it's 20 years old right now). He wrote a receipt, I paid him, and he was getting in his truck to leave in a half hour. I'm definitely happy with the results, and price and will call them back if it ever needs other service.

The door would open but not shut. Fred adjusted the light sensors, tightened up the door, repair a brace and oiled the joints and springs.

It went fine. Basic roller replacement, adjustment of the chain, lubrication of the rails and springs and up/downforce adjustment. Service and price was fair.

Fred came out promptly, had all the necessary tools and parts, and replaced the spring. He said that since I had two springs, they should both be replaced, which he did. He seemed very knowledgeable about quality of doors and components. He made some suggestions regarding my door opener, but was not at all pushy about services or products. Technician showed up on time. Quickly diagnosed that the reason my garage door was not working properly was because I had a broken spring. I decided to replace both springs on both sides because if one was broken the other one was probably going to break soon as well. He oiled my garage and tuned it up free of charge. Was in and out quickly and my garage is running quieter than it ever has. I was very pleased.

I bought a new garage door opener and needed someone to install it. I found out several of the garage door companies listed on Angie's List will not install a garage door opener unless you buy it directly from them. I can understand this policy, but I believe that's not a good way to earn a loyal customer who might potentially use that same company again down the road. I finally found a couple of companies, including Fred's Garage Door, who would install the one I bought. The estimates varied greatly between the companies, so I definitely would recommend you call around for estimates. Fred's quoted the lowest estimate and had good reviews on Angie's List. The repairman came out on time and completed the work quickly (on a very chilly morning!). Everything was installed correctly. He stepped me through how to use the new opener. He set up the remote controls and keypads. He patiently answered all of my questions. He was professional and nice. I especially liked the fact that he took the extra step to spray lubricant on all of the garage door joints and scrapped some of the corrosion off of some of the joints. That wasn't part of the job, but that was an extra step I appreciated! The only very minor issue I noticed after he left was that the outside keypad was installed somewhat crooked. I notice small things like that; other customers might not see it as being an issue since it's only somewhat crooked. Overall, a good job was completed at a good price. I would use them again.

On a weekday morning after the garage door went up and down as we all left for work several bolts popped out of the arm connecting to the garage door opener. I was the last one to leave and all the bolts were gone by that point and the door wouldn't go up. I called the number on the sticker by the back door and the company was out of service. We turned to Angie's List and found Fred's Garage Door, they could come out within the hour as I needed to get to work. They arrived within the time period they promised and were able to fix the door very quickly and had a very fair quote. He even adjusted the door so it wouldn't happen again at no additional charge. We'll definitely use them in the future and recommend to anyone.
