Very professional service by nice people.

One spring broken in a dual spring setup on a 7' door. Recommendation was to replace both springs which I expected. Super friendly, punctual and did great work in ~30 minutes. No hard sells or upcharge attempts. Based on what I've seen this is about as good as it gets for a dual spring setup. Very pleased and I will use Fred's again!

Called regarding concerns about spring. Fred came next day and said it didn't need replacing yet. He serviced the door and said it was in good condition. He suggested I wait until the spring broke before replacing it. No pressure and lots of advice.

Arrived on time and did excellant job removing all old peices and parts from old door and attachments. Installed new doors and fininshed by makeinng all adjustments. Very friendly crew.

Roberto came out and looked at the broken garage door (we backed into it one too many times) and indicated that all panels needed to be replaced or a new door installed because 3 of them were bent and the top one was split in the middle. Since the garage door supplier for our builder 14 years ago does not sell these same doors now, he said we could replace it with one that was very close but would not exactly match the other door. I asked him to give me an estimate on replacing both garage doors with either a similar door or with carriage style doors with decorative windows and hardware. I was able to get a much better deal from Fred's than I could through Home Depot. We got the estimate within 45 minutes on Friday and Roberto came back out and installed the doors on Monday. He did a terrific job and I could tell that he loves what he does and likes to make the customer happy. The curb appeal of my house has been improved a lot with these new carriage style doors. I would recommend Fred's to anyone. Ask for Roberto. You will be glad you did!

Over all was great. Fast and convient

Metal garage door came off its tracks yesterday (Sunday), called early this AM and technician was out with two hours to fix door. Suggested tg add brace to bottom of door to strraighten it - all work was done quickly and professionally.

This man is excellent at what he does. Previously, Fred has done work on that same garage door in the rent house as well as the house where I live.

After checking Angies List and seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews I called late afternoon leaving a voice message. The owner Fred returned my call within 15 minutes. The appointment was set for early the next morning. His son Nate arrived on time. Walking into the garage Nate diagnosed the problems immediately. He had everything required to fix the problems with him. Within the hour I had a working garage door. Great service, great price.

Telephone representative was very helpful, and quickly scheduled a service call. Repairman was prompt, efficient and professional.

The work took less than an hour and it went very well.

The spring over the two bay garage door broke on a Sunday evening, I called Fred's Garage Door & Opener Inc. on the following Monday morning to see when they could have someone come out and provide me an estimate on a repair. I was told that they had someone in the area working on a job and could have them out to my home within an hour if I was available. I agreed and the technician, Roberto, was at my home within the hour as promised. He was very professional and quickly gave me an estimate on the broken spring repair. Upon my request he also looked over the tension spring above our other garage door and told me that it was showing signs of wear but depending on how much we use that other door it may still have several months of use left in it. He showed me in detail what he was looking at when he evaluated our second garage door spring but only spoke on his observations and did not try to push for any additional repairs. I decided to have the second spring replaced as well just to have both doors in similar condition. I also asked about having the rollers on both doors replaced as they were very worn. Roberto had both tension springs and rollers replaced in a little over an hour; he also re-balanced both doors for us. One of the best service experiences I've had in a long time in both time of response and professionalism of their team. The total cost of the repairs was very fair. I would certainly recommend them to others.

My garage door's spring snapped a couple weeks ago. I called Fred's today and he said he could get someone out in about an hour. Repairman came, very polite and professional, got right to work and replaced the springs in about a half hour. When I told him I had found them on Angie's List he gave me $10 off :)

I called Fred's Garage to come and replace a broken spring on my garage door. Roberto showed up on time and in about 30 min. had not only replaced the broken spring but added a 2nd spring that I did not have. He recommended the 2nd spring due to the gauge of the door (26ga), which makes it quite heavy, but left the decision up to me. I felt adding the 2nd spring would be worth the additional cost. I couldn't believe how quickly the repair went! Roberto also lubed all wheels and hinges and suggested I do the same 2 to 3 times per year. All in all, a good experience!

Honestly, this was a great experience. the service guy arrived on time, was pleasent, knowlegable. He diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right away, on the spot. It took him about an hour. I could not have done this on my own. the tech also told me how the garage door worked, showed me how, under normal circumstances, I can manually lift and lower the door. He gave me an estimate that the opener was about 25 years old and gave me an estimate about how much it would cost to replace it. I will definately call Fred when I save up to replace the rest of the unit.

It went well. The guy came and gave me two options and was honest about which he thought was better which was getting a new opener, as my old one was 20 plus years old. He was nice and helpful and explained everything to me after he was done installing. It didn't take long and it was very easy, which is good for me because I don't like dealing with home improvement stuff.

My garage door died one day late in the afternoon. When I called, they were able to schedule a service call the next morning. They arrived on time (even a little early!), diagnosed the problem and gave me an immediate estimate, and completed the work promptly. I would definitely use them again.

The owner Fred answered his phone to give me a quote and was able to come out within 24 hours to look at the system. His son came the next day and was able to do the entire job in about an hour. They were both extremely nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fred arrived on time, was professional and efficient.

I called him to come and do the tune-up, but at the same time the battery to the garage opener was beeping. He came soon after and did the tune-up and unplugged the battery back-up. He suggested that I call the company that installed the battery because it might be under warranty. He also said that I really didn't need the battery back-up, and that's why he unplugged it. It is still unplugged, and I have no problem with that. I felt very comfortable with his advice.

The technician arrived on time, review the scope of the work, performed the installation as agreed, and finished within the estimate time frame.

The chain drive opener that was here when we moved in has been stucked lately and finally it stopped working. Called Fred's and he come to look at the same day. Determined that we need a new opener. Have him talk with the landlord and scheduled the replacement to be done the following morning. The work is done really quick and professionally. All cleaned up and works perfectly in about an hour.

They fixed it and everything works fine.

Fred came on time and looked at the work to be preformed. He was cheerful and professional. Sent his worker the next day who promplty showed up on time. Good and diligent worker. Did the work according to what was promised. Finished his work without hurrying up to leave sooner and cleaned up. Showed me what to do incase of any problems. Satisfied with the quality of work performed.

Did inspection and service, advised on condition, recommended replacement.
