The installer showed up on time and installed the opener without a hitch.

This is the second time I have used Freds. Have been pleased both times. Would not hesitate to use or recommend. In fact have told several of my neighbors about them in case they are in need in future

Easy to schedule, showed up on time. Only spent 10 minutes here, but the door ran much more smoothly and a year later is still quiet. Indicator was not set up right, but the instructions were straight forward enough to do it myself after he left.

Fred's was very professional and efficient. They came on time and and did an excellent job I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

The technician was right on time and very professional. He explained in detail what needed to be done and what my options were. I chose to add the 2 support beams as opposed to replacing the entire door. Roberto (my technician) did an excellent job and was done within 30min.

Called and left message at 10:12. Got a call back at 10:15 and someone arrived to do the repair an hour later on Christmas Eve. It took about 30 mins and we were back in business.The repairman was very professional and friendly. I'll use Fred's again for sure

Our garage door was not functioning properly. The work was done quickly and professionally. The estimate was also very reasonable compared to some others we had received. We also felt confident that Fred knew what he was doing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we will use him again if the need arises.

Fred was extremely helpful. He was patient and sincere as well as honest. He spent time explaining what he would do according to our request. We have not had purchased the remotes/keypad because we're planning to install an automatic gate that would have 2 remotes which can be programmed for the gate as well as the garage door. Nevertheless, we will utilize Fred's Garage Door services in the near future as our motor/unit is more than 10 years old and expected to be replaced soon.

The service technician was here when promised and was courteous and professional. He spotted what was causing the problem immediately and fixed a broken hinge. I would recommend this company to anyone!

After contacting 2 other reputable garage door repair companies, also listed on Angies List, to quote me on completing the above described job I made one last call to Fred's Garage Door for a final quotation to make my final decision. Fred answered the phone promptly and dispatched a tech to my house promptly the following day,. Tech arrived right on time and assessed the situation very quickly and accurately. Did not try to up sell me, which cannot be said for the other two companies I contacted. Got the job done for 40% cheaper and am pleased with the honesty and quality and speed of work performed. The tech also did additional tuneup work to make the door work even quieter and smoother and did not charge me for the extra service. So pleased with Fred's and will without a doubt call them in the future for service if needed. Thanks Fred, I can see why you are so highly rated buy so many consumers. Keep up the good work!!!!

Replaced garage door opener.

They came, did their work, cleaned up and left. Nice part was that they did not try to sell me anything additioanal or suggest any other work was needed.

The work they did was just fine. They said everything they said they would do and they did it in a timely manner. The guy was very professional, very knowledgeable and did everything I asked. I was very pleased with his work.

Called Fred's Friday afternoon about 4:00 p.m., advising of the problem. He said he could be available between 11:00 a.m. and noon the next day. He showed up when he said he would, and made the repairs.

He showed up on time and was very friendly. I explained that my garage doors would not stay down the first time I attempted to close them. After showing him what they were doing he explained to me what he was going to do and what the cost would be. I was very pleased with the work that was done. My garage doors are working just fine now. I was given a 30 day warranty and before the he left, he made sure he explained what he thought was going on and what steps would need to take place if it started happening again.I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a garage repair service.

Everything went really well. They were on time and did a great job explaining the different options available. While they were here they also looked at a 2nd garage door and advised me of how to maintain it and extend the life of the spring and the door itself. They were very effecient and timely, they came in and out!

The service tech arrived on time, replaced both springs and the price was exactly what I was quoted. He then tightened the chain, adjusted the track so the door would completely close, lubricated everything, and adjusted the sensors. This was all done at no additional cost. The door is quieter and smoother than ever before and the tech was in and out in under an hour. I would definitely use them again

He said everything was in good shape and just needed to grease the chain drive.

Great work Fred's! I called this morning and Fred's had a service technician out to our home within 2 hours! Roberto, the technician, diagnosed the problem that was causing our garage door to come off the tracks. He replaced three parts, aligned the door and adjusted the spring tension. The garage door works quite smoothly now. Roberto even cleaned up grease marks on the door when he was finished!

The garage door had been working off & on for a few weeks & after being tired of parking out front we called decided to call Fred's. I explained the issue over the phone & Fred felt that it was probably a stripped carriage & said he would be out between 1:00 & 2:00 that afternoon. When Fred arrived the garage door worked fine (per usual when you are showing the expert the problem!), but he still knew something was going on. He tweaked a few things & assessed the issue & BOOM, garage door fixed! What I liked about Fred's was that they were prompt, honest, & explained the issues in a language I could understand. If we have anymore garage door issues we will definitely be calling him again!
