Description of Work: We hired this company to remodel our existing pond.

Description of Work: Joel Ramos restored our stream bed by removing all of the old stone and cementing in new river pebbles and rocks. He also convinced us to use an external pump with skimmer and bottom drain. Initially his men did a nice job on the stream and we paid Joel for that portion of work. When Joel installed our external pump he did not have the bottom drain and could not complete the installation. I unfortunately had given him the remainder of his fee and will never do this again with any contractor until the job is complete! Instead of Joel trying to locate a bottom drain, he let me do the research and when I subsequently found a new type of drain he wanted me to order him several as well. I felt that was his responsibility and only ordered my own. Joel would not return calls until I threatened to go to Dickson Brothers who recommended him, file a Better Business Bureau complaint ( he already has a D rating from them) and write a review on Angie's List. He then strung us along until finally calling short notice when we were gone. He installed the bottom drain with pipe that was not what he promised and it looks amateurish and cheap. Now I find his whole concept was flawed and the waterfall doesn't perform near as well as with my old pumps. I am having to clean the new pump every 3 days and it is no improvement at all. Joel comes across as a nice man who cares deeply about doing a professional job. All Joel is interested in is signing up his next job and once he gets your money, he is no where to be found. Don't make the same expensive mistake I did.
