Dryer Venting Services

The service was excellent, and I will use this service again next time. A friend of ours had their entire house burnt down from a dryer vent fire, so we were quick to get ours done. The results were very good and clearly visible from the pictures. The work on the vent was unexpected and done without charge.

My previous dryer vent dumped into the garage and I'd wanted this changed for years. If I'd known it would be this easy and cheap to do, I'd have done it years ago. I supplied a dryer box to be inset into the wall and made the drywall cuts and repairs afterwards. Robert installed the 4and quot; dryer vent pipes into the wall, through a fur down to avoid the structural 2x4's, through the attic and out the roof top. He sealed all the joints along the way with metal tape. I will probably go back and spray expanding foam into the cracks where the pipe enters the attic. I'll also go back and paint the metal vent on the roof to match the others, when it gets cooler. Robert did all he promised in an excellent manner.

He was excellent. I've used him twice and he was always on time and very friendly. The owner is the only employee, so it's his reputation that is on the line when he takes on a job. He has no other employees. He also does other duct work and venting such as ovens and ranges. Very honest and hard working.

This is the second time we've had Robert come to clean our our dryer vent. The first time, in 2010, was the only time the dryer vent had been cleaned since we moved into the house in 1992. He did such a fantastic job of cleaning out what was at least 18 years worth of soggy lint (and maybe more) the first time, and the dryer worked so well after his visit, that I promised myself I'd have him come out every few years so we'd never get to that point again. Fantastic, prompt, professional job from the roof down to the dryer.

My house is about a year old and I called from a personal referral. He asked me three questions: (1) Is the cap clear? (I went outside and saw that it is flapping wildly.) (2) I may need to clean the cage on the exterior. (3) Check to see if the dryer is too close to the wall and kinking the hose. Now, I recognize other companies may have just come out and charged me the $130 to clean the vent. When it DOES need cleaning, I'll be calling DVS.

There were other companies who offered a cheaper price but I was impressed with the reviews that DVS received. My dryer was not drying clothes. It would shut off and clothes would still be wet. I called Robert Monday morning and I left a message. My call was promptly returned. A price was quoted. Robert came Monday afternoon - 10 minutes before the time scheduled. He did an outstanding job. He was very thorough, kept his work area clean. (not an easy task for dryer vent cleaning) He discussed with me at length that the builder used flex pipe in the wall behind my dryer up to the ceiling then across my kitchen ceiling they used solid pipe. Piles of lint came out of the vent from both ends of the vent. My dryer now works great! I am so glad I did not call a dryer repair man. Robert did an excellent job! I would hire him again and I will recommend him to my friends.

DVS came out the same day we called them. The technician was prompt, courteous, and fast. My dryer vent was clogged with three bird nests. The technician cleared the blockage, cleaned the vents, and replaced the vent cover with a bird-proof cover. I was very satisfied with the service.

My dryer was giving me an error message indicating an air flow issue (even after I cleaned out the vent and the duct in back of the dryer). I contacted D.V.S. and explained the problem and they came out the same day and inspected and cleaned out the vent. Dryer is now working beautifully. Prompt and professional service. A+++++

He found the vent from the dryer was installed into a HOLLOW WALL, a very long time ago. The wall finally couldn't hold any more lint. He ran a new pipe for the dryer, up and out onto the roof. Where it should have gone in the first place. Beautiful job, he even cleaned up the entire kitchen of the old lint. I can't say how great it was to get someone to come to your home and fix something and then go out of their way to fix a problem someone else created. I figured the price would be high but Robert was very fair in his pricing especially since he has to work in this heat! Left no mess at all, you wouldn't know he had been here. Thanks so much

Robert was very responsive to my phone call and did a good job of understanding my problem that I had to describe to him in layman's terms since I am not a fix it person. He came out within 2 hours of my call to begin the work. Not only did he assess the problem and fix it, but he took the time to educate me on what I needed to do in the future to ensure that everything remained in working order. He did an even better, more thorough job than I anticipated. I will bring him back yearly to perform the same service and I'd recommend him to friends as well.

Got appointment day after I called. The owner was on time (10 min early which suited me perfect.). He got right to it and got the dryer vents cleaned and sorted. Not messy.

I called Robert and left a message. He returned my call promptly. We set up a service call for the next morning and he gave me a quote of $129. He was a little early, but early is always better than late for me. He went right to work. He worked diligently for an hour and a half in the Texas summer heat. He worked on the roof portion first where he pulled out a large bird's nest and lots of lint. He then worked from inside the laundry room wall. This was not an easy task as the dryer vent has never been cleaned out and my house is 17 years old. Robert held true to his word and charged me the $129 he originally quoted. My dryer is happy to be breathing easier now. I've run 2 loads of laundry through it so far in about 1/2 the time it used to take. Further, upon my request, Robert even helped me fasten down a pipe on the roof that leads to my water heater. I would recommend Robert to anyone that needs this service.

I see this company received rave review and I don't like being the first to do this. I have tried to get into contact with DVS for over a week both through email and by phone and have not received a single response. Left voicemail after voicemail and nothing. Not even a message that states vacation times. Hopefully, I'll be the only naysayer.

Second time I have used DVS. He was prompt, efficient, and cleaned up everything. It's amazing how much lint gets stuck in the dryer vent.

Robert called back within an hour or two of me leaving a message for him, showed up promptly at the agreed upon time, and did a thorough job cleaning out the dryer vent. I have front loading machines that are a bit too large for the older laundry closet they are installed in and he tweaked the vent connection so it wouldn't be crushed like it was before, no extra charge. Very happy with the service and I will be keeping his number to use again.
