Robert Andrews responded to our request for service quickly and scheduled a call within a few days. In July 2007 he completely cleaned the vent and with our permission, removed some louvers on the roof-top vent to help prevent future buildup of lint and make the vent easier to clean. When the moisture buildup returned the next couple of weeks, he returned to check the vent again at no charge. It was clean. As the weather has become less humid and the milder in temperature, the problem seems to have gone away. Mr. Andrews is very accommodating and professional. We have been corresponding with him by email about a possible change to the type of roof vent we have.

DVS attached a blower to the inside dryer vent and went outside to work the blockage in the tube, eventually freeing a large chunk of lint. He then completed the clean-up by working from the inside and cleaning the dryer itself. He added a portion of metal elbow at the outside vent to improve the outbound airflow and re-attached the vent cover and caulked it nicely. DVS arrived a few minutes before the scheduled appointment and went right to work. The work took about two hours, as had been estimated when the appointment was made on the phone. The price was also as discussed on the phone. Compared to repairing the in-slab tube or re-routing the vent, clearing the existing tube was a great relief. Towels once again dry in about 40 minutes.

I thought that this was like a specialized thing, but, when I seen him on Angie's list I had to give them a call. The man did such a wonderful job. He is the only one that is on the list. Not only does he clean the vents out, he also installs them. He was absolutely great. I thought that this was the weirdest specialty for someone to have done, but, he did it and it worked great. He charged by the hour and I thought that it was really reasonable. Again, I do not know how he managed to do this, but he did it.

Robert has proved Angie's List worth its weight times ten. He was our first venture with Angie's references and all those who follow will have a hard act to follow. He came the same day we called, quoted exactly what he would do, performed the work exactly as he said he would, and all on the same day in 1.25 hours. Did I mention he's a nice guy? He is.

Was on time for the scheduled appointment. Inspected the dryer and the vent - diagnosed the problem. Spent about an hour cleaning the vent duct and installing the new vent cap. Was very professional; we were pleased with his work.

Robert arrived early and worked diligently the entire time he was here. I overscheduled some other services and Robert was willing to work around some other technicians without complaint. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need and his price was very reasonable.
