Cornerstone Chem Dry

Excellent. Albert T. Called to tell me he was on the way; arrived at the beginning of the time range which I appreciated; vacuumed all areas first which is the only time either CHEMDRY company I have used for the past 30+ years has done that (but supposed to); and cleaned his machine’s underside when done, which assured me that when they arrive, the equipment is clean; was polite, friendly, and thorough!!! These are my goto folks for carpet cleaning!!

I’ll attach the email send as feedback, as it sums up my experience. Note: the company requested feedback yet never responded to my email (below) afterwards. This was sent early December. Hi Erika, I appreciate your email following up regarding the service I received. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the sofa or the rug were cleaned properly. I mentioned my concerns to the technician and he politely told me that I would not see the results until the pieces dried. Fair enough. But the pieces of my sofa were different shades wet when I pointed out the concern and dried that way. I feel like they were wet but not cleaned and am unsure what actual product was used for cleaning. As for the rug, it was a tougher job as my daughter dropped bits of slime on it (which he wasn’t able to get out and I completely understand). The overall appearance was not much difference before and after though. I ran a quick errand before he started the rug and got home right after he left and it seemed to just be a wet rug. There was no apparent raking of combing of the pile... and when I used a plastic cleaning brush of my own, so much loose dirt immediately came up with very little effort. I called the tech to ask how he cleaned it and he mentioned the “gum” and stated that he tried to rake it but I’d need to vacuum it when it dries and it should fluff back up and that would also pull any loose dirt. (The vacuuming should have been done thoroughly before wetting, right?) It didn’t. And it was almost matted from being wet and dirty. I’ll attach a photo of my dirty brush just from the first few strokes. I ended up working a good bit more on it but feel like i could have skipped the service all together for these results. I would very much appreciate knowing what the next step would be. image1.jpeg

They were very good. I don't know if they are franchised as I had this same company previously and they were horrible. They have the same name but maybe a different owner. This time they were very through. They got stains out and I didn't buy anything extra. They just cleaned. They did a good job. Much better than in the past so I am assuming by different owners.

This is the 2nd time I used Cornerstone. They are batting 2 for 2. On time. Quality service. Fair price. I recommend them.

Tony is a very friendly guy and very informative. He really seems to know his stuff and does great work.

I have used Cornerstone Chem Dry for 2-3 years. We have off-white carpet in all the bedrooms. Tony has done an excellent job every time. I would not use anyone else! This company cares about there customers.

Excellently. Tony, the technician was professional, on time, explained everything in advance and worked hard for 3 hours to make sure the work was done well. I am very pleased.

This is the second time we have used Cornerstone and they always do a great job. The technician with on time and very professional. The work was outstanding! Cleaned up stains from 3 dogs (one was house training) on beige carpet. Looks and smells great.

They did good. Scheduling an appointment was real easy they came out on time and they handled it it very well. I didn't have any complaints no concerns afterwards anything like that.

They did well. The price was reasonable. I just decided to try them this time cause I needed some work done on my homes to see if they would do a good enough job for my rental properties. I've used them the once so far.

Carpet was not cleaned well Asking money for stain removal I found carpet more dirty and spots worse

It did not go as well as I had hoped. When they came to clean, I was told that they would move the furniture. I had my entire area devoid of small things - electronics, lamps anything on the floor was moved, but when he was cleaning the living room, I could see that there was an in-table which was very light, and it had not been moved. I asked if he had cleaned there, and he said yes, I said we could move that, and he said that they could just do that, so I went there, and picked it up and moved it. I am 60 years old and it did not hurt me to move that little piece of furniture. I watched him. There was cat hair in one corner, and as I watched, it was behind a large chair. There was another table there, and after he left, I checked there, and the cat hair was still there, and he had not moved the table, he had just cleaned around it. I called them, and I told them about it, and they said they could come back and do it. I said it was not really worth my time and effort to check when someone comes out and does the work.They should have done it right the first time. I asked for a chair to be cleaned, and they cleaned the chair as well for an additional charge. The price seemed fine. He was on time. He was courteous, and they were courteous on the phone. They really didn't address my concerns.

Excellent, I really appreciate Tony and his accompanying technician. Tony serviced us 2 years ago and he did an excellent job back then too. A friend of mine was looking for the same service after seeing how my carpet turned out 2 years ago. I didn't have Tony's card then but I do now and will give it to her on this Saturday when I see her. She is trying chem dry carpet cleaning method for the first time.

We have two dogs and the carpet that is about 2 years old. Our youngest dog has been a mess to housebreak and has been using a couple rooms frequently. I was tired of steaming the carpets myself and in a pinch so I went with this company on a deal to see how it would go. They set up appointment quickly and came out on on time. I was having a ton of work done around the house and was dealing with painters at the same time. The guy who came out was nice enough but he was done start to finish in under an hour. That includes set up, 3 rooms, stairs and a sanitizer upsell. After he left we let the rooms dry per their instructions but one room starting stinking pretty bad again within hours. After it dried the smell was still pretty bad so we called them and they came out the next day and redid the room at no charge. The smell was much better but still a little bit there. This time he was done within 30 minutes including setup and tear down. Everything was very professional with the company but I really couldn't believe how fast he went through the job. Yes, I understand the quicker its done the more jobs they can do and all, but he definitely did not do a thorough job. I had everything off the floor and vacuumed before they came but he just didn't seem to get everywhere. I noticed completely dry spots in every room where it seemed like he went as quick as he could but did not get all the carpet. Basically cutting corners. For $200 or so it wasn't a complete waste but I'd rather try someone else next time and maybe feel like they care to do a good job instead of just doing a quick job.

I wasn't impressed. They came in and really tried to sell me more stuff, and I don't like that. It's the first time I ever had the Chem Dry method. The dirt is showing back again, so I was not pleased with their product. Once I said I didn't want to buy anything, they went very quickly through the work and were gone. I'm not impressed.

The only issue is the the tubing leaks from room to room

They did a good job but nothing over the top. The room area was extremely small, approximately 8x8 foot areas due to the fact we are moving and we had moving boxes stacked. So, they had a very easy job. We really only needed our stairs cleaned but the "deal" was more than we needed.

June 19, 2015 Provider treated a red wine spill on a light green Ethan Allen dry clean sofa. Spot was removed and then they cleaned the entire sofa. During that process, the spot treated cushion turned pink and the technicians also got solvent on a new Ethan Allen sofa table. The finish was ruined. The technicians took the cushion and the table to work on it at the shop. June 27, 2015 The cushion was returned. It was in worse condition than when it was taken to the shop on June 19. We refused to accept it and were astonished that it was even returned in its condition. July 14, 2015 The owner, Randy, personally returned the treated cushion and the refinished table. He was very polite and apologetic and guaranteed me that issues only happen once a year. The cushion was still damp but it was much closer to the original color of green. He told me that he could come back after it was dry and treat it again to balance the Ph. He returned the refinished table but it did not match its matching mate. I was an hour away from hosting a 12 person dinner and kept both the cushion and the table just to get through the evening. These tables are still under warranty from EA and now my warranty is voided due to the refinishing. Cornerstone has refused to replace the table and wanted to try to refinish it yet again using my other table as the match. July 31, 2015 Cornerstone returned to pick up the refinished table AND my matching table so they could match the finish exactly. Again, I was not happy with this since they now had TWO of my tables. They had told my husband on the phone that they would be back in one week and I was told in person that the tables would be back in a week and it was written on the receipt. I had to create my own receipt stating that they were taking two tables. August 19, 2015 After repeated calls, we still do not have the tables returned nor a date to redo the cushion. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I have an off color cushion and two missing end tables with a voided warranty.

Guys arrived on date and time frame scheduled. After looking at the rooms we wanted cleaning, they realized we had a lot of ceramic tile. They didn't have any covers with them to cover my tile and was not comfortable running their extremely hot hoses across the tile and possibly causing damage. I appreciated him taking the time to explain that the hot hoses good damage my tiles so we rescheduled for the following week so they could bring the proper covers for my floors. This was my first time using this chemdry process and while it may be a good technique for sanitizing and removing allergens, I did not think my carpet looked all that clean. I clean regularly with my store bought Bissell Carpet Cleaner, so my carpet was not totally nasty, but there were some spots in areas that I assumed a professional cleaning would get out easily. I have had my carpets cleaned professionally once with the regular water/steam method and they turned out much cleaner than this time. I was a little disappointed that several spots were still on my carpets and sofa. While I did like that there wasn't a long drying time with this chemdry process, I think the regular process of water/steam cleans much better and my carpet, after Cornerstone ChemDry left looked no better than when I clean them myself. The guys that came out were very professional and seemed knowledgeable but I think I will stick with the old method of cleaning of carpets next time.

Very professional crew arrived right on time after giving me a call that they were on the way. After inspecting my home, the leader Troy gave me options based on his recommendations and let me make the decision with no pressure. The crew was very quick about getting the cleaning finished but was very thorough.. Very impressed with the overall job performed! Will be calling them again in the future! Would highly recommend!
