We received exceptional service from Carpet Outlets. Tina made great recommendations regarding our carpet selection and Marty promptly scheduled a measuring appointment. Because of the type of carpet selected, they chose their most experienced crew for our job. The crew arrived promptly and worked quickly to remove our old carpet and install the new carpet. We received a pad upgrade as an Angie's List bonus. From arrival to departure, the job took less than 3 hours, and they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. In addition to removing the old master bedroom carpet, they also removed carpet from a secondary bedroom and took out the staples and tackboard so the hardwoods can be refinished. I've already recommended them to one of my friends. The service, price and quality were all exceptional.

They came on a Monday and worked over 12 hours. There were 4 of them and they were very nice and professional. They were hard workers. The gentleman, Noe, who is their tile expert was extremely knowledgeable in tiling and in plumbing. He supervised the other men and the end product is beautiful. There were a few areas that needed touch up with grout and he came out promptly after I called. I am very very pleased with the work that this company has done for me. They put in my carpeting a few weeks ago as well. Everyone at the business is polite and professional.

From my first experience in the showroom with Marty, I knew the transaction would be a good one. He let me take home, free of charge, many samples of carpet. He came out and measured and I paid him. They called a few days later to tell me they were ready to install. They said they could move everything but the valuables/fragile items. I told them that I needed to check with some friends as I had just had shoulder surgery and they would need to help me move the stuff. She replied "That's ok sir, we will move it all for you, no problem". Great attitude. The install was done very well--expect it to take the whole day as they are very thorough. I will be giving this company my tile and hardwood floor business simply because they seemed to genuinely appreciate my business and did a very good job at what they do.

I dealt with Marty and he was very experienced and knowledgeable. He pointed out a lot of things to us and he was very helpful.

It went very well. Worked with Marty at the store. He listened and work with us easily and efficiently to find what we wanted and needed. Marty setup an appointment to survey the job, came on time and was professional. The carpet installers were excellent, very clean and worked efficiently with the stuff we could not move in the rooms. They did a great job and we are happy.

It was nice, because he brought out samples. He was very thorough and explained things well. He was very personable.

The men arrived in a timely manner..on time. Each of the men were very professional and polite. They answered all my questions and had complete knowledge of their work. Everything was installed to my satisfaction and it was beautifully done.

After seeing Carpet Outlets of Texas on Angie's List, I visited their showroom in Mesquite. Marty helped me with carpet selection, giving me the less expensive and more expensive options and exlaining the differences. I purchased carpet for 3 rooms of my house and it was installed just a few days later. The install crew was on time and very courteous. So far I am quite happy with my new carpet

I don't remember offhand how much it cost. As far as I recall their price was good. I would use them in the future.

The service was great: they showed up when they were supposed to, they did the work, they cleaned up well behind them, and then they were gone.

excellent, very professional, knowledgeable..............very experienced.....they know what they are doing!! Noe was wonderful at suggesting a layout for the tile on the guest bath tub surround..great ideas, speaks both English and Spanish. Couldn't be happier!!!

I met Marty in the showroom and he helped me decide on laminate for my house based on the amount of wear and tear my carpet has taken over the years. He came to my house with a few samples and helped me choose a laminate that looked best in my house. He measured my rooms and then I scheduled the installation. The installation took 3 days rather than the 2 days originally planned, but the floors are beautiful and the work was high-quality.

Wonderful job. Marty was fun to work with, helped us pick out what was best at our price. Installation was great. Responded to followup call and seemed concerned that we were pleased with the result.

The in store experience was good. Marty showed us product and then went and measured the job. We brought a piece of the existing floor that we would be transitioning to. That floor is prefinished elm. Boy were we surprised to be shown a prefinished Oak that matched perfectly. You have to look hard to tell the difference. We were in a remodel so we have to schedule plumbers, carpenters and painters along with the flooring installer. We got in a bit of a bind on the scheduling but the owner came by and made sure we got it resolved. Nice of him to be so available. These folks know what they are doing. The installer also refinished the floor of my neighbor across the street. The floor is beautiful. He is a bit of an artist so make sure you allow sufficient time for him to work. My advice is that if you have special issue that you not get in a hurry.

We checked the Angie's List! We had an excellent result when repainting the whole house by Walter Barber, again via Angie's List too. We asked a few other contractors to give us estimates. However, Marty from the Carpet Outlets of Texas, explained to us in details the pros and cons of various types of carpeting for our house. His style is low key and no pressure to make the deal. We visited his showroom and made the decision then to proceed with our selection Honey Glaze color to complement our newly painted top-to-bottom house. Evidently, they have to order it from North Carolina. In the meantime we were apprised of the scheduled shipment, and a date was set for the installation to begin. This take roughly 6 days after we signed the contract. The installers came at 8 AM sharp and started to work swiftly in taking out the carpeting/padding, and installing the new ones. The Team is professional and easy going. They went beyond their ways to assist us in dealing with moving some items with no hitch. Marty is pivotal for us to close the deal couple with such stress free Team to install everything in ONE DAY "with a smile", you can't have a better deal! We are looking forward to work with Marty again on our countertops in the near future. Keep up your simplicity,stress-free, friendly and professional approach in dealing with customers! Overall it went very well. Marty was polite and very professional. He was very patient in showing us different choices of wood flooring material and priced the options very promptly. Measurements and final work came out very close so we didn't have any unreasonable amount of waste. After signing of work order Tina took over the communications with us and ordering of material from the supplier. While the wood was being ordered we took a while to decide on tiles for bathroom floor and we also wanted to put a small pattern in the middle of bathroom floor which made things a little complicated. For the most part Tina worked with us patiently. The wood was delivered in the promised time frame couple of days before start of work to acclimatize. When we opened a few boxes to check the wood it turned out that around 50% of the boxes had the wrong kind and wrong size wood (the label was right but the contents were wrong). It took couple of additional shipments to fill the entire order. Tina got this taken care of very seemlessly and there was no delay to the project. Crew was very pleasant and courteous and they did a great job. Each member of the team knew what they were doing. They were careful about stuff in the house and did a good job of cleaning up after they left every day. On a side note, as expected a project of this nature comes with dust, it would have been great if the crew had warned us and/or covered the furniture before they started scraping the floors. Noe (crew chief) was very meticulous and took pride in the job he did. He took great care in mixing the wood from several boxes to make sure that the patterns were uniform and everyday before leaving he inspected the day's work and made corrections where necessary. Crew's timings were somewhat on the late side but sometimes it was due to the fact that they needed to pick up material on their way in. This was not a huge inconvenience but an earlier schedule would have worked better for us. One of the days when it was raining they accommodated our request to not work that day so as to avoid getting the material wet since the saw and other equipment was sitting outside. There was some confusion about the type of glue used to glue the wood down- Tina said they would use Bostik's Best, however actually they used Bostik's BST. When we brought this up to Tina, she emphatically insisted that BST was equally good glue. However, based on information on Bostik's website, Bostik's Best has some additional properties (antimicrobial, better shear strength, more elongation etc) compared to BST. We are hoping that the glue used will perform well over time and this subject will be a non-issue. Overall the project went well and work was completed on time. Tina followed up post work to make sure everything is OK and we appreciate that. The floors look awesome. We do notice an occasional glue spot on the wood which should go away with few good rubbings over time.

We went to the store and picked a bunch a samples and came back to our house and checked it in the lighting. We narrowed it down and a person came out took the measurements. They were here within 2 weeks after we had ordered the carpets. It took them a day to complete the work. There were a couple of adjustments that had to be done and they came back later and fixed it.

Overall the experience was good. However, each day they arrived well after the scheduled time which then caused them to work later than expected. We encountered two other problems. First I asked for a brick pattern for the tile floor and they started to install the brick pattern the wrong way. After a quick call to the office, the crew pulled up the tile and thinset and redid the tile with the brick pattern going the correct way. The other problem involved the preparation of the familyroom floor for the laminate. The crew did not check the whole floor to see how much leveling needed to be done and they skipped over the attached hallway. This caused "hollow" spots once the flooring was installed which then lead to them having to undo the floor and pour more self-leveling compound. I would have been willing to absorb the cost of extra bags of self-leveling compound to avoid them having to rip up the floor several times. All of this caused the job to take an extra day and a half. My husband and I felt as though the crew was in a hurry to get the job done rather than with doing it right the first time. The crew and the owners did respond quickly when we pointed out the flaws and corrected them. We have since found a couple of more "hollow" spots but don't want to go through having the floor ripped up again. I would use them again especially for tile work.

Marty came on of time. Sweet guy. I said I decided to keep the carpet (we have an older dog who has lots of "accidents"). I said I decided to not buy at this time, but I intend to use them in the future. He was not angry with me for coming out and not having a sale.

It went great. Marty the salesman helped me find a carpet that looks good and will stand up to my 60 pound dog. The installers were early, everything was done within 3 hours and they even helped to move the furniture back into the room (we had to move everything out ourselves except for the beds) after they were done. I'd recommend them highly.

Everyone in the office was professional and helpful. Oscar, the man who came out to do the measurements, met his appointment and was very professional. I would absolutely use them again.

He is very knowledgeable at what he does. I am probably going to use him once I am able to do the job. Since we were Angie's List members he is going to upgrade our padding.

The lady at the store was very knowledgeable and helpful. The price was better than a local hardware store and they know carpeting better than a clerk. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. The rooms are beautiful. I will use them again the next time I need carpeting.

Everything went well. As soon as I put in an e-mail request for information, they called me. They recommended I go to the showroom, pick out the carpet and they would come to measure the room, provide an estimate, and then install it. This is exactly how it happened. They worked very quickly, although quality was much more important to me. I received a great quality carpet for a very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

I found a carpet that I liked after searching for three months. I didn't care for the lack of information I got from most of the salespeople though. I checked Angie's list and went to Carpet Outlets from their recommendation. Marty counld'nt have been more knowledgeable about weight, fiber, twist and best things to look for. He even researched the true name and type of carpet I had found and gave me below the sale price the others offered. He explained everything in detail making my choice easier. When he came out to measure he took the time to show me stain removal tricks and assured me the company would help with any problems or repairs I couldn't handle myself in the furture. Overall experience - I would recommend them to anyone and have already!
