I had gotten two other quotes for the installation of new carpet for the second story of my house and even researched the specific brand of carpet, so I had a rough idea of the price I should get. The Carpet Outlets of Texas gave me the best quote. After doing research on the company through Angie's List and the BBB, we decided to go ahead with The COT. They were friendly and always responded to my calls and requests in a timely manner. The carpet I wanted was on back order, but they kept me updated on the status of the shipment and had me scheduled as soon as it got in. The installation crew came early in the morning and was done by the end of the day even though it was quite a bit of new carpet to install. They were friendly and professional and they even pointed out a leak seeping out from the bathroom. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

My experience with this company was fabulous. I made the initial contact by going into their showroom in Mesquite. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They provided some basic pricing on the their products (hardwood and ceramic) and offered to come to my home at my convenience to measure and provide a final price. I was encouraged to take several samples home so that my husband and I could carefully consider our color choices. Once we had decided on the product, we asked that someone come out and measure. The sales person scheduled an appointment within 24 hours and arrived promptly at the appointed time. Measurements were taken and a final price was provided. We scheduled the installation two weeks in advance (this was our choice as the work could have been completed within a few days). I received a phone call the day prior to the scheduled install to confirm the time. The installation crew arrived promptly on the date of the install and began work immediately. The installation was perfect. They cleaned up the area and removed all of the old flooring from the site. We are planning to have ceramic tile installed in several areas next month and we will definitely have Carpet Outlets install the tile.

They worked very fast and efficient. They did the entire house all the while we were residing there. They accommodated our daily routine and once they started, the process was went rapidly.

Bruce was extremely knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice as I selected the type of carpet I wanted in our bedroom and media room. After I went to the showroom and narrowed my choices, he brought various samples to the house, measured the areas to be carpeted, and promised installation within a few days. His crew appeared exactly when he told me they would and they did a superb job. When I returned to purchase the runner for our hardwood stair steps, we went through the same process, and again, the installation was done precisely when he said it would be, and the results are excellent. I would heartily recommend this company, both in terms of price and level of customer service.

I was very concerned about feathering into the existing flooring but after researching, I decided it was the thing to do if I wanted it to look as though all the wood flooring was installed at the same time. Wow! All I can say is the installers were amazing! You cannot tell where one installation began and the other ended. If anything I am much more pleased with this installation than the previous one done by another vendor. When the other vendor installed our wood floor they didn't float the entire floor but did it piecemeal. The Carpet Outlet installers floated the entire room and what a huge difference it makes in the sound of the floor. A very professional job and the floor looks fantastic. I got a better price and better installation.

From the time we walked in the showroom, our experience was amazing. Very professional and courteous. Marty showed us examples of flooring to stay away from, and floors that would stand up to our 3 dogs and 3 small children. We went in on a Tuesday, and they were out the next Tuesday to install. I loved the installation guys, so fast but meticulous in detail. They made sure every piece of furniture had felt placed before moving it back onto the laminate. They replaced an old broken tile in our kitchen at no charge! The carpet guys came after they were finished and installed in half a day without a hitch!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

The workers arrived onsite promptly at the stated time. All work was performed to my expectations. After starting in the bathroom, the lead person informed me that there was an unforseen issue with the plumbing that connects to the new toilet and that modifications would need to be made. After which he said that he would be able to fix but it may take a little longer than the original project time. He stated that he had no problem taking care of the issue as long as I was ok with the extra time involved. After giving him my okay to proceed, the work was still finished in a minimal amount of time. I was very pleased with the outcome of the full project and would recommend this company to anyone. I have already told the owners that I will be calling them again to do the next project that I have.

Salesperson was very pleasant and knowledgeable (over 25 yrs. experience selling carpet). Gave us some preliminary estimates based on my husband's figuring of the square footage we were going to cover. (Most of our downstairs except kitchen and office). Marty came out on a Wednesday to measure and bring the sample of carpeting we were thinking of buying to see how it looked with our paint scheme. My husband's measurements were only 60 ft off so the estimate was right in line with what we were told at the store. They called and said the carpeting was in on the following Monday and wanted to know when it would be convenient to come and do the install. We scheduled it for the following Saturday and they said they would call us the night before with a time the installers would arrive. They called and said they would be there Sat. morning at 8:30 a.m. and they were pretty much right on time. I moved my glass ware and nicknacks off the bookshelves and removed all my boxes, etc that had been in our walk-in closets and large foyer closet beforehand per their instructions but the installers moved everything else. In fact they had 3 rooms of furniture completely removed in about 20 minutes! The installers worked non-stop from 8:30 until 2:15 when they loaded up the truck and left with all the old carpeting and padding. They were friendly and asked where I wanted the furniture placed after they had installed the new carpeting and had vaccumed everything. It looked beautiful and we are very pleased with the carpet install and also the customer service we received from Tina and Marty Gelino. We would definitely use them again for future flooring needs! I highly recommend!!

I recently had water damage on my home. Almost all the floors had to be removed (except kitchen/bathrooms). I told Marty about our situation and was hoping we could get someone out the same day, as we really needed floors, we didn't have any for about 2 weeks and were getting tired of it. He gave us a quote, which was way below other contractors/companies that quoted us. So we gave him the green light, he ordered them and installed them within just a few days - even upgraded our padding since we were Angie's List members. Everything came out perfect. The carpet was done to my expectations (I can get pretty picky on these things). They really paid attention to detail on this. Based on this we decided to let them do our hardwood laminate flooring as well. They were able to install it in 2 days (baseboards as well) - not including the 2 days for the laminate to acclimate. These came out great as well. They really took care of everything with no one at home, as we all had to be at work, since I had already taken a few days off to take care of the water damage. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am for finding this company.

This couldn't have been a more agreeable transaction. We particularly appreciated the attention and consideration given us on what for them must have been a very small order (1 room). The carpet was a perfect choice and the installation was done very professionally. We had a carpet remnant bound at their establishment to make runners for our front entry as well. We are completely pleased by the carpet and the service. A wonderfully group with which to work.

They were very professional and friendly. They were right upfront with pricing and no hidden charges. They were here when they said they would be here and overall I was quite pleased.

I have been updating my kitchen, den, foyer and dining room. Had a contractor who was terrible. Told him I didn't want floors installed until he was finished with his work. Had to cancel installation of floor 2 times because he didn't finish his work. Hired another contractor, he has done excellent work. After painting and other work was finished, I had the vinyl floor installed. The installer came back the next day to install a piece of wood where my foyer floor and den floor connected. The work was excellent, the floor looks fabulous. The quality of the flooring was what I expected. There was never any trouble putting off installation til a later date. All interactions with this company, mostly Tina, were very professional and I actually enjoyed talking to her. In the future, I will be purchasing new carpet for my bedrooms area and installing new flooring for two bathrooms. I will be purchasing all flooring from Carpet Outlets of Texas, Inc.

Fantastic experience from the first phone call to the last!!!

I visited with Bruce in the store about the carpet that I needed. He spent over an hour with me showing me options and sent me home with samples to consider. I made my decision, he came to measure and ordered the carpet. It was in the store within a week and installed days (at my convenience) after that. The installers were courteous and professional. Tina called me to let me know they were on their way. They removed the old carpet and pad and installed the new carpet/pad. They finished that day. They moved all furniture and replaced it when the carpet was laid. They cleaned up their mess. Overall, it was a thoroughly easy process and I have wonderful new carpet. Thanks!

Called them on Friday with room dimensions. They arrived promptly Saturday morning at 10, took out the old carpet and pad and installed the new carpet and pad in one and one-half hours. Upgraded the carpet since they found a remnant the right size and gave me a $25 discount because I mentioned Angie's List. I am so pleased.

Excellent company. We got many bids and the interaction with them while measuring and choosing samples for the price was very good. All the people we dealt with were very professional and very nice. After deciding to go with Carpet Outlets of Texas, we agreed on the start date and they called and worked with me on dropping off the hardwood when they said they would. The installation crew was top notch. We had the whole house done and they made sure that it was still livable while installing the floor. The crew was nice, treated our home and items with respect and cleaned up after themselves. They made it whole process very easy, were professional and extremely easy to work with. Would highly reccomend and would do business with them again.

We shopped carpet for 8 months. After talking to several carpet/flooring places, we found the carpet we wanted and were about to make the purchase. At the last minute, we checked on Angie's list and found Carpet Outlets of Texas. We would have never driven that far away, and in fact, we never even visited their store. Simply based on the number of positive reviews, we called them and ultimately purchase from them. Carpet was installed Saturday and everything went really well. We got the carpet we wanted, installation was perfect and the price was $1,000 less than the cheapest quote we received elsewhere. Very happy.

Everything from the initial phone call to final carpet installation was perfect. Marty and Tina were wonderful. Install was complteted early. I could not be happier and definitely reccomend their work. There are dozens of carpet stores between my house in Southlake and their office in Mesquite. It is well worth dealing with Carpet Outlet even though they are a few miles away.

After reading the reviews for Carpet Outlets of Texas, Inc, we decided to give them a call. The first person we spoke with was Marty, and he was very cordial and gave us good directions on how to find their store. After meeting Marty in person, we got down to looking at carpet. Mariy is very knowledgeable, and he taught us a number of things about carpet that we didn't know. We took some sample books home with us and in a couple of days, Marty came out to take measurements. We later did some searches on-line and found another carpet grade that Carpet Outlets didn't have in the store. Marty and his associates were quick to locate samples of that carpet type and had it ready for us to examine within about a day! One thing I like about Marty and Carpet Outlets, Inc is that they are not pushy. Marty told us that he would not call us to ask if we were ready to buy, etc, and that was the truth. Even though our eventual purchase was delayed by an unexpected health problem with my wife, Marty didn't call but one time to ask if we could please return a sample book. Responsiveness: In a word - exemplary! When my wife asked is we could get the new carpet installed as soon as possible it was so it could be done before an upcoming, schedule surgery. When Marty and Carpet Outlets heard that, they immediately got to work. The next day my wife got a call and Carpet Outlets was asking if it would be ok to install 3 days later! We actually had to delay that a little bit because we weren't ready yet! Quality of Installation: Beautiful! The installers arrived slightly early the first day, and got to work immediately. They were extremely careful with all furniture, and were very professional. Everything was done carefully and methodically - without being rushed. At the end of the second day, we were extremely pleased with the results! We would definitely recommend Carpet Outlets of Texas, Inc for a great price, excellent service, and professional installation!
