The whole experience with Carpet Outlets was excelllent! We initially talked with Marty at the store and looked at several different types of flooring. The flooring that had been damaged was laminate and we wanted to replace with the same type. The flooring for family room and hall was difficult to choose as we were trying to match it as closely as possible to the floors in 3 bedrooms off the hallway. Marty was very helpful with that and we finally made our choice, our kitchen, laundry room, etc. had been a laminate that looked like tile so was easier to choose. We looked at several styles and colors and chose one. Marty set up a time to come to the house and measure, went back to the store to place the order. He called to let us know the flooring was in stock and we set up the install date for the following week. The flooring was delivered over the weekend as laminate has to acclimate before install. Tuesday morning Juan and Alex showed up, moved the furniture and started tearing up what was left of the flooring in the family room and hall, I was amazed at how quickly they finished that and cleaned up to start laying the new flooring. They installed all the flooring in family room and hall, then moved furniture back before leaving that evening. Wednesday morning moved furniture in kitchen and laundry room and started that flooring. The flooring for the kitchen looks similar to ceramic but comes in planks and they had to move some planks around to decide the best way to lay it so it would look right. Once again, I was amazed how quickly they worked and what a great job they did. The flooring looks amazing and I can't say enough good things about Carpet Outlets and the people involved in this project. I highly recommend them to anyone needing new flooring.

This started out ok. I went to the showroom and explained what i needed for a house we were trying to sell. The salesman, Marty, made a quick appointment to come look and measure. I was unsure if I wanted tile or linoleum. Marty's price for the tile was higher than another bid. His carpet price was lower and so was his laminate. The laminate was something I was not sure it would be recovered with the sale of the house. After I got other bids, one of the contractors called manager, Tina, at Carpet Outlets and received a lower price on carpet so I went to see this sample. Tina showed me something that was very low quality and would not last 6 months so I asked about the price on the product Marty showed me - thinking she would give lower price. They got upset at me and Marty went through his papers and Tina quoted a higher price. I asked why the price was higher than what Marty quoted me and she said they have increases - it had been less than 2 weeks?? They agreed to do the same price finally and then when I said I just wanted carpet not the laminate, Marty got all upset and said so i did all this measuring for nothing, no laminate, no tile. I felt like I was being attacked and got out of there. It was horrible way to treat a potential customer, luckily I found a great company S&H Distributing that was better pricing and treated me like a good customer from start to finish!

My floors are beautiful! We selected engineered wood that makes our home look like a new home.

The carpet installation is perfect. We can not even see the seams on a frieze carpet. We had a few issues with the tile installation and Carpet Outlets are all about customer satisfaction. The owner, Bruce Morehead, worked with us to make sure that we were fully satisfied with the work performed. You do not find this level of customer service often these days. He stands behind the work performed by his company. He even made the offer to replace the tile floor, which was not necessary. And he had people out to make the necessary corrections within 2 days. Now the floor is exactly how I envisioned it would be. I would highly recommend this company because they will work with you, listen to you, and they want you, as the customer, to be completely satisfied with the work they do.

The experience was terrific. Marty helped educate me about carpets and helped me select a continuous fiber carpet that doesn't shed like other carpeting. I have allergies and that was key. Once I selected the carpet, we scheduled an installation date which they were kind enough to let me postpone as I had a lot of painting I wanted to finish before the installation and it took more tie than I expected.. The install was flawless. They took up the old carpets and unlayments and disposed of them and cut the carpet so there were way fewer seams than I thought might be necessary because of the closets in each room. A terrific job well done.

For weeks, I looked at flooring at numerous places, took samples home from several. I measured and figured costs for various options. I checked Angie's again and went to Carpet Outlets of Texas, 5200 Gus Thomasson in Mesquite, 972-279-4800 just to try one more place while I debated. My decision was a no-brainer. They are personable, honest, reasonable - less expensive than the others I checked. I was totally comfortable with the process and working with Tina. Marty came out to measure, discuss what would happen and answer my questions. Within a week, I had a floor. The young men who installed the floor have been with the company for years and knew what they were doing.

We were very happy with our experience with Carpet Outlet. They have an excellent selection and I felt like Tina was very helpful in helping us select a carpet. We didn't know what we wanted so it required a couple of trips to look and take home lots of samples. Tina made sure we knew about the benefits and drawback of different brands and styles. It all felt very honest and relaxed -- no pressure. The installation went smoothly. No complaints. The installers were very nice and polite and they did a neat job. It looks great.

It was a great experience. Oscar Morales, the manager of the Red Oak store went above and beyond. He worked so hard to help me get the Mohawk SmartStrand Silk that I wanted so badly. He gave me the ABSOLUTE best price I had found online or at any of the three other flooring stores I had been to. So I got exactly what I want. He routinely uses a #8 pad which most places require you to pay more for. He came to measure himself and showed me where seam lines would run and how it would be best laid out He located my first choice color and had it shipped over the weekend so we could do the install quickly. He kept me up to date on the process before installation. The installers were great. The only thing I would maybe advice, is that if you have a lot of big furniture, that you request an earlier start. They arrived around nine. They worked very hard. The head guy, Jose, was amazing. He measured each room, cut the carpet and would carry it in in the way he wanted it ( wouldn't let any of the other guys help him) to have it lay the way it needed. Impressive. They finished around 800 that evening, long day but looked great. I couldnt and still can't find the seams. I am in love with my new carpet SmartStrand Silk feels like walking on a chenille blanket and is amazingly stain resistant. Oscar then called to see how everything went and ordered me some complimentary samples since my husband forgot to keep any of the scraps. He called later to give me an estimate time for them to arrive. The entire experience was wonderful, the price was the best and Oscar delivered the best customer service I have ever experienced for a home improvement project and for pretty much anything else. When we do any flooring projects in the future I will definitely go there. I can't recommend them enough.

Carpet Outlet had a huge selection of flooring samples so I was able to find just the right one for our home. The price was the best by quite a bit. An installer came out and measured, ordered the flooring for us, then came out one day to rip out the old floor and completely smooth and level the underlying concrete, which included covering the area with a thin layer of new concrete since the old concrete was cracked, then came back the next day and installed the new floor. Cleanup was thorough. Not only did they do a nice job on the floor but they happen to also repair grandfather clocks (an odd combination I know), which we also happen to need, so they are taking care of that for us too. All in all a good company to work with.

Their showroom is not pretty, but that means they don't pay as much money for the carpets. They were very helpful and took a lot of time in helping me select carpets. They were prompt and were here when they said they would be here. They moved the furniture in our bedroom, removed the old carpeting and padding, and installed the new carpets without any fuss. They have hundreds of antique clocks in their showroom that you can buy and they have a master clock maker there.

They have done a consistently good job. Durable, professional and a good price. I have called them again (2013) to replace the remaining carpet from 1994. I think we bought the most inexpensive carpet they had in 1994 and it survived 3 kids and dogs for close to 20 years...so I trust them if they say something is durable.

Everyone at Carpet Outlets was great. Marty helped me with carpet selection--and educated me on which specifications I should look for and which I should avoid in a carpet. Tina helped with the financing and logistics. Kenny and Baltimore installed everything! Wonderful experience!

We had some water damage and decided to replace the flooring. Their price was so competitive we decided to do hardwoods. They did it over the weekend so we would have it done for the holidays. They came in early and stayed late to make sure the job was done. The custom work they did on the trim was great. They were able to match the stain I have on my bookcases which was fantastic.

The service, quality and price were EXCEPTIONAL! We had over 7 estimates. This company was the only company that was one-time, and didn't employ high-pressure tactics. The salesman actually listened to what we wanted and respected our budget. After several other estimates that were double with significantly lower quality carpet (with salespeople that we basically had to kick out of our house), my husband and I drove to the showroom. It was a Saturday morning, and the showroom was fairly busy with other customers. The staff was still very attentive to us, and did an excellent job of juggling back and forth between the customers. The staff gave us as much time and attention as the other couple with a $12,000 budget! That spoke volumes to me. As a customer I was important, regardless of how big or small my order was. The rest of the process went amazingly well. The installers showed up on time, they were very professional and respectful of our home. They moved all our furniture as part of the install cost, removed and disposed of the old carpet. They worked quickly and with quality. My husband used to install carpets and is excessively picky when it comes to installs. He can spot a poor seam or stretch job a mile away. He scoured our carpet and couldn't find one area he was displeased with! Actually the installer's thought ahead in a few areas. For example, where our bedroom transitions to the bath, the installer came to us and asked if we were planning on upgrading the bathroom floor to tile, because if we were, he could do a different transition that would ease that process when the time came! I am so pleased with every aspect of this company and the process. We did not have to sacrifice service, or quality for price. We WILL be using Carpet Outlets of Texas again. Also on a side note, the showroom is full of wonderfully beautiful grandfather clocks. That in itself is worth the drive to the showroom!

The entire experience was good. The salesperson was very helpful when I picked out the carpet and when he came to the house to measure the rooms. He was also very helpful in picking out the color which we love. The installers arrived right on time. Originally, we thought it would be a two-day installation but the two-man crew got it all done in one- very long- day. We appreciated their hard work and efforts.
