Description of Work: Install wood flooring.

Description of Work: We put engineered hardwood in our common areas and a very nice laminate hardwood in our study. The guys were terrific! Fast, courteous, friendly, capable and thorough. We will use them again!

Description of Work: Put carpet in two bedrooms. It went well, they came about a week and a half after we confirmed everything. It took them a few hours to put it in and it looked great. A few months later now the edge is coming up at the bathroom entrance, I haven't contacted them yet about but will soon and I will update with a response.

Description of Work: I had ceramic tile and laminate removed from my living room, dining room, kitchen, entry way and half bath and replaced all rooms with porcelain tile that looks like reclaimed barn wood. I also had old carpet removed and replaced upstairs in all 3 bedrooms, hallway and stairway. As well, I had the kitchen backsplash removed and replaced. The tile work was done by Gustavo and his 2 man crew. They started around 10:30 in the morning, Monday. I was expecting a later start since I had spoken to Tina (who is FABULOUS, BTW!) prior to them coming out to get an idea of when they would be there. I have to say, I was a little bummed though that they kept that same start time throughout the entire time they worked. However, that is my ONLY "complaint" with Gustavo and his crew. They did an EXCELLENT job and took pride and care in their work. Gustavo was very personable and easy to talk to when I had questions. |The carpet was done by someone that does contract work for Carpet Outlets when they get in a bind and need help. His name was Kenny. Him and his helper showed up on Thursday to "start" the job. Well, that was a bit disappointing because I was told that the carpet was a 1 day job. So to find out that it was going to take more than that did not make me happy. I was ready to get things cleaned up and back together. Kenny and his helper removed some of the carpet and padding and placed new padding where the old was removed. They came back around 10 or 10:30 the next day with an additional person to help with moving of a little furniture that I could not move myself and finish the job. Kenny did a lot of complaining, especially about how hot it was and pretty much demanded for me to turn the air conditioner down so he wouldn't pass out and I would have to call the ambulance for him. Well, that didn't sit well with me, but I didn't want the guy to pass out, that's for sure. So I accommodated him in his "request". He did a lot of talking as well. The two guys he had helping him did most of the hard labor. Now, don't get me wrong, Kenny and his guys did a great job. I just would have liked a more professional and courteous crew, like Gustavo and his crew were. I can't say enough good things about Gustavo and his men. They were Top Notch! All in all, I would recommend and use Carpet Outlets of Texas again. My experience from beginning to end was very good, with the slight exception of Kenny. Again - that's a slight exception because he did do a good job and that's what really matters in the end.

Description of Work: We had Carpet Outlets install new carpet and moisture barrier pad in a living room, dining room and hall in a single family rental property we own.This is the third time we have used Carpet Outlets for house projects - and as the previous times, they did not disappoint us in their attention to great customer service. Tina is very knowledgeable, professional and strives to make sure the customer is satisfied. They were able to do the job within 3 days of me placing the order. It was a very pleasant experience and the work is well done.

Description of Work: Carpet and a small section of hardwood flooring.

Description of Work: I purchased engineered wood floors from Carpet outlets of Texas. The salesman came to my house to give me an estimate on how much it would cost for new flooring. After visiting the store and taking numerous samples home I finally decided on a particular wood and color. Several days later the workers came in and did the job in a timely manner. They were nice and neat. The job that they did was incredible.I love my new floors and would recommend this store to any of my family or friends.

Description of Work: This was a full carpet install-135 yards. Service after the sale was slow and a charge was made for a small adjustment. Follow up requests for repair at owners expense were very slow and I finally gave up trying to have repair. Costco was a consideration but Angie's List strongly recommended this company. Service after sale is my big complaint. Home Depot, hands down, is better then this company. The company's location in Mesquite, Texas, is in a location that is run down and not very clean. That should have been the clue to me, not just saving $600 compaired to Costco or Home Depot. Finally, the company should provide life time stretching and adjustment, as do most large companies. I say this because I had an industry inspector check the installation. This person said the carpet needed stretching after 8 months from installation. It was not an offered as an after purchase service by Carpet Outlets of Texas. Be careful about recommending this company.
