It was good I guess. Didn't stop the ants though.

We've had so much rain, the mosquitos have been a nuisance, the treatment seemed to work for the most part. I'm sorry to have forgotten his name, but the man who applied the treatment was very nice and punctual.

We pay $120 every three months. It costs more than other place but it has less bad reviews. They could be better with communication. They call use like a day before they come out but I wish we knew a little bit about the time they were going to show up. It is frustrating because I would like for them to get the inside but I can't really prepare because I have a lot of stuff I have to do and they usually show up on time. I have kids and I can't let them in because I don't want them to spray where the kids are. It is hard to plan it with them.

I bought a deal and when they showed up, they said the deal wasn't right or something like that. That they didn't do the outside pest control and the inside pest control and to get it done, I have to sign up four more times. So I did and I'm sorry I did. I couldn't understand them half the time. I ended up not paying for it. He would show up without calling me first. He'd say he emailed me but I have eye problems and I don't read my emails. He just wouldn't listen and they kept showing up and they'd charge me. I refused to pay and then I finally just paid because I got tired of the calls. I had a very bad experience with them. The deal was good bit I ended up paying a lot more. They never got everything taken care of cause I needed to get rid of the beastie's. I've read reviews about them before and all the reviews looked good. I don't know if I'm the exception or what. Communication was totally off.

They schedule without consulting which impacts my work schedule. Received a call last monday that they were coming over tuesday. I called and told them not to come this week. I would contact them the following monday. They showed up wednesday and did the outside after i told them clearly i did not want anyone at the house. When i called - they agreed i had cancelled but told me not to worry cause i had 30 days to pay the invoice - for a service i cancelled and they didn't do the inside of the house. i told them i wanted to cancel the service completely for 2016 but the lady said she couldn't cancel - that the closure department was going to call me - and I'm still waiting. They have a good product and the guys that come over are nice but they need to work on their scheduling and responsiveness.

Barrett has done a great job so far. I have a quarterly treatment plan with them. They have done thorough treatments of the entire yard for ants and other insects paying special attention to the swingset area of the back yard. They will perform treatment inside the home as well as part of the service, but do not do this unless requested. So far I have been happy. My contract includes termite treatment guarantees if they are ever detected. The house perimeter had previously been treated for termites so I wanted this extra protection.

This was a $69 big deal purchase. I found some ants in my bathroom that they came out and treated. The first thing I did not like was immediately when I contacted them they wanted to upgrade me to some contract versus just doing what I contacted them about. Then they told me the issue would go away within two weeks, but it has been six weeks and the problem is still there. Because it did not work I have to pay for another company to do it again. If it did not work, then I don't know if the pricing was any good. They did show up on time.

It went very well. It was a great price. He definitely came on time. He called right before he came. It was pretty good. They did everything pretty well.

they had to come out twice and each time they wanted to push a contract service on me and the sale person was not clear on the process. They sent me a bill when never agreed to the services......

I am very impressed with the knowledge and service provided by the technician. He also pointed out areas outside of the house that need to be filled in since they provide openings for mice, rats to enter attic. I am in the process of having that done.

Courteous, on-time and responsive to needs. Would definitely use this provider again.

I was very satisfied with the response from this company. Larry, the service person went over and above the job and cleaned some a/c lines. Very prompt, friendly and thorough

I also asked them to provide the service when I was at work and they did so and left a receipt.

It's what they didn't do on the last 2 appointments. (1)They can't remember to call my work number to remind me I have an appointment even though when I made the appointment, I was driving and asked the young lady to send me a text or call me at work and leave a message so I could write down the appointment -- it didn't happen; and (2) They can't remember to call my work phone to give me a 30 minute lead time to get home before they arrive--they continue to call my cell which I don't have access to while at work. Therefore, they didn't get inside the house to spray and they didn't get inside the back yard to spray, yet I was charged full price. They are very nice but they are cheating me out of my money for less service over a simple phone call. I called Barrett a few days ago, left a message, explained that my work phone was my day phone to be used 8am-5pm; my cell phone is to be used 5:01pm - 9pm. I expressed that I had told the young lady how important this was when I made the last appointment since my cell is not available to me at work and to please, please call my work number if it's before 5pm. She was sweet and said that yes, she totally understood. What happened? They called my cell number and I didn't get the message to leave work and meet them. I have heard NOTHING back from anyone at Barrett Pest Control after I left the last REMINDER phone call. I did receive a ACH from my debit card for the full price of spraying my entire house, around $136, but they didn't spray inside my house nor my back yard. You would think that at least they'd reduce the charge to match the service. I'm looking on Angie's List next for a new pest control company. Very sad that they can't apologize and that they won't make this right.

My 69.00 deal turned into a 377.72 deal, don't used a credit card and read every word of anything you sign. The service was standard for what it is. He did offer to move to another rental property the remaining services which I did, but only get the outside treated. Not a "deal".

They were very nice but I was immediately upsold. I liked everything except the fact that I purchased a deal on Angies list which was not really considered. They were fast efficient and seemed to have done a wonderful job. Time will tell if the termites return.

I used these folks in the past and have always been very happy. We were having a waterbug problem and I saw an Angie's Big Deal special with them. The serviceman called and asked if he could come early since he finished his previous house ahead of schedule. This happened to be ideal for us. The serviceman treated the outside and ground floor as per the Big Deal we purchased. He was incredibly friendly and courteous. I would gladly use them again. The only thing I found mildly annoying was with the scheduler. Though she was friendly, I found the push for up-selling to a yearly contract to be a bit too much. While I understand this is par for the course with most of these Deals (it is the main way they benefit the company), her sales pitch was a bit too much compared with other Deals I have purchased.

Fire ant issue in backyard and my son was bitten several times. Sent email to their service@barrettpestcontrol.com email id. No response. Then i called them and had service done. The guy came and applied treatment wherever I told him to. . Still have fire ants everywhere. The thing is..they just ask where we saw bugs or pests and then apply repellent/bati in those places. I thought pest control means they inspect the root cause of problems around help remove the issue. Second experience from them. They do not do thorough inspection before treatment. They ask you where you saw bugs and then treat that area. I did not see any value in that kind of service.

Provider showed up on time and called ahead so that I was able to coordinate my dogs. I did see a few roaches a couple of weeks later, however this was covered under their warranty. They came back out and re-treated. Since then, I have had no issues.

Perfect! Tech even assisted me with products that would help me in the future-she was great! Company is lucky to have her.

There were a few glitches but they are doing a good job.

He showed up on time, and took care of all of our concerns. We had several active wasps nests that they destroyed. Overall, service was efficient and effective as we observed bug carcasses for the next week or so. We have since used them for their semi annual treatment every 6 months.
