Purchased Angie's List special one-time treatment. Technician was on-time and professional, however ants were back within 3 weeks. I called to schedule a re-treat as the original problem was not fixed. At first the phone agent told me the AL special did not include re-treats. Needless to say, I was very unhappy with the service, but someone called me back and said they would come out and fix the problem. They did and we are happy with the service.

Very well. All service by all serviceman was done with a helpful attitude.

Since we are in a new community where houses are just being built, Bill did a great job making sure he covered every inch of our brand new House. He explained the whole process and gave advise on how we can do our part to keep the pest away. This is my 2nd time using them and I am very pleased with their service.

Fine. Again, I've only used this service ONCE, and submitted a review after that service. But, I am still bombarded several times a week for a review. Previous review still stands.

I work an unpredictable job and had to reschedule the service several times and they were very accommodating.

Technician did thorough inspection and treatment

They gave me a window of time, between 1-3pm. They said the tech would call 30 min. before he would be there. I explained to them that I definitely needed them to call, so I could have someone over there by the time they got there. I didn't hear anything from them so I finally called at 2:30pm. They called the tech twice but no answer, so they left a message. They called me back at 3pm to tell me he called them and said he was running late and would be there in 10 minutes even though I told them I needed the 30 minute window. They didn't seem to care when I told them I would just go with someone else.

Great. Unlike the other company I hired from Angie's list, these guys honored their ad and didn't upsell me $1200 for laying out traps and covering a hole. First company wouldn't even honor their ad!

Fine. Pete came out and inspected thoroughly.

James sprayed both inside and out. He was very professional and personable.

Did not tell me anything I didn't already know. Gave me a quote for exclusion, but never got back to me on when they were available to come do exclusion. I have already contacted other companies to do the job.

Three service calls took care of the issue.

The service was good. They did well and we ended up signing a contract. They are going to continue monthly service out there at the house. They came out the next day after I purchased the Big Deal and did the initial and then two or three days later, they came out and put out the traps. They were very communicative. They communicated the whole time and they did not do any work without any prior approval. That is really important to me that people just do not do stuff and then go and tell me that I owe them like $5,000. I could have got it cheaper. I just was desperate at that point.

We had a problem with cockroaches. We hired Berrett Pest Control two and a half years ago and signed up for their quarterly plan. They never got the cockroach problem under control. After each spraying, the cockroaches would be back in a matter of days. I repeatedly asked them if there were some small holes where the cockroaches might be getting into our laundry room, holes that could be patched. Each time I was told that there were no such holes that could be patched. After I decided to terminate using Berrett a couple of weeks ago, I hired a new pest control company many of my neighbors recommended. Within five minutes, the serviceman from the new company identified a number of small holes where it appeared the cockroaches had been getting into our laundry room. He taped over these holes and then did some spraying and dusting. We now have no cockroaches as the problem has been solved.

Purchased an Angieslist deal for one-time pest control. Upon arrival, they had no idea what I had purchased and actually thought they were just updating a treatment they made previously. I had to explain and print out the Angielist deal, and the provider proceeded to spray the outside for no more than a few minutes. It did nothing for our pest problem -- and we ended up having to hire another provider. Don't waste your money

I purchased a one-time package for $69 for a General Interior and Exterior Pest Treatment through Angies list. Nevertheless, when I called Berrett Pest Control to schedule the service, they were not very clear about the process. First, they sent a pest specialist to my house to inspect it and recommend the type of treatment needed. I was puzzled because I understood that they were coming to my house to apply the treatment I had purchased and not to try to sell a yearly plan. Second, after they came to my house, I had to call them back to talk to another person to schedule the treatment. The problem with that was that since I told them that I just wanted to get the treatment I had purchased through Angies list, they transferred me to several people within the company who tried very hard to sell me a yearly treatment. My disappointment was that I was trying to avoid a sale pitch and that is exactly what I got – I wasted valuable time and energy in this process.

I used them for a short time. They were OK, and they did the job. I might use them again, I'm not sure.

It went well. Representative was friendly but I only saw him in the beginning because I had another service rep for a different reason there at that time as well. He didn't say goodbye or tell me what he did so its hard to give a complete review.

The quarterly pest service was overpriced. Despite their service there were always bugs in the house. The monthly mosquito service was a rip-off. When they sprayed, the mosquitos got worse. You try to call them and all you get is a ringing phone. Their management did not return calls. They are a joke.

After contacting Berrett, we were able to set up an appointment pretty quickly. The technician came and inspected the garage and left 5 baited mouse traps. I asked about treating the outside of the house, as we had seen a mouse under the sidewalk slab, but the technician stated that they "don't do that". To date, none of the traps has caught a mouse, and we see evidence that rodents have made it back into the front part of the garage.
