He didn't meet me the day we had scheduled, because he said that his truck broke down, and then it was super hot the next day, and he had to get up in the attic to put the lights in. He finished the job, and it looks excellent, and the quality is good. He did a very good job. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

They went beyond what I had gotten estimates from other companies by doing sheetrock/wall repair around the panel. Will definitely use them for future electrical service!

+ -1 moreSteve had an emergency call to another appointment that costed us the first day, but promptly showed up on time the following to complete the work. The internal rewire went smoothly. He did run into several issues getting the panel in place and wired with the old cabling, but that was due to the many issues I've faced with this old house. In all, I'm satisfied with his work, and he was open to addressing any issues I had for the future. He even came out after the install to replace an outdoor outlet that wouldn't attach correctly to the panel.
Description of Work: Steve came out to bid on a complete rewire of my 1940s house near the M-Streets of Dallas. The price was reasonable, but more than I had budgeted for, so we agreed to perform a panel upgrade, rewire one bedroom and the bathroom. He was very informative on what needed to be done and set me up with his apprentice during the job for any questions I might have.

Although Steve was not the first to respond, he was actually qualified to do ALL of the work I needed. I was able to get AHS to send someone for a second opinion and he fixed the problem. But Steve was ready to help me out. I really appreciated it and will use him for more work.

+ -1 moreI contacted Steve at the very last moment for some electrical work that had to be done at a home I am purchasing. The sellers agreed to be responsible for the repairs so their realtor was on site. I chose the vendor and was also present since I am the one who will be living in the home. He wasn't available the day I called but was gracious enough to work me in the next day. At the very last minute, we almost had to change the day and time and he was very accommodating about that as well. He showed up when he said he would, evaluated what needed to be done, and kept us abreast of his progress along the way. He was willing to do additional things that were noted in the inspection even though I hadn't mentioned them in my initial request. Best of all, he finished in the time estimated and I felt confident about the work he performed. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone. He was professional, courteous and efficient without sacrificing quality. He didn't try to sell me anything, but he pointed out things about the house that I may not have known. After the sale is complete, I would definitely hire him for additional work.

Description of Work: Upon his arrival and inspection, Mr. Deleon informed me that my base meter would need to be replaced before he could install the new panel. This did not make me happy and added $700 to the cost but, it had to be done since the house was built in 1964 and needed to be replaced so we agreed to proceed. Having been in the house a few days we were not happy with the insufficient lighting in the kitchen, entry way and hall way. I changed the scope of his initial statement of work and we agreed on a new total cost and statement of work. I also realized there were no electical outlets in the garage and he agreed to add those as well. He was very accommodating to our requests and provided a reasonable quote for the additional work. He quickly got to work and we were very satisfied with the overall job. We did have a couple of issues that were discovered a couple of days later and he promptly returned to resolve them. One of them was not his fault and was due to a faulty security light which I will be returning to Lowes. Although my cost for the project doubled, it was mainly due to our change in scope. The new recessed lights in the kitchen and hallway look great and we're very happy with the work.

Description of Work: Scope of Job: Installed all wiring, switches, and 8 canister lights in my living room, dining room, and kitchen. Steve was here right on time and proceeded to work right away. After I indicated where I wanted him to install the 8 canister lights and switches ... he worked continually with only a break for lunch and finished the job near the time he approximated it would take to finish. He cleaned up after he finished and left the areas he worked in just as he had found them upon his arrival. He did an outstanding job, very professional, but friendly and answered all my questions. I definitely would ask this electrical company and Steve to return when I have another electrical job.

They advised me there was absolutely nothing wrong with existing panel and showed me that there were no damages. He also showed me wire which I could see under the dishwasher. There is actually no outlet; the dishwasher was hardwired to electrical line as is common now. I paid $99 for completely false information and almost hired them to do unneeded work.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $99 of 2 Hours of Licensed, Professional Electrical Labor. Steve came and looked at my issues and explained that I would need new breaker box as the existing one was fire hazard. He also said that the dishwasher was not installed with a ground wire and may have a bad plug that he could replace. He could fix everything for about $600 he said.

I had the date wrong, so he had to wait for me to get back home and was extremely gracious about the inconvenience even though he was on a tight time line. He performed what I needed to have done and then asked if there were any other things he might work on while he was there since it didn't take the amount of time allotted and I had to pay a minimum anyway. He was a very nice affable man who didn't dilly dally. He just got the job done quickly and professionally.
Description of Work: Had two canned lights in my kitchen that didn't work. He was working as a contractor for American Home Shield.

Description of Work: I needed a new exhaust fan in the bathroom and the one I purchased did not fit in the current housing. Steve walked me through all the steps that would need to be done in order to make the new fan work so that I'd understand everything being done. + -1 moreExcellent service from the word go. Steve DeLeon showed up exactly when he said he would, did a thorough evaluation, and quoted a competitive price. Was able to start the job right then. Steve went above and beyond in his service. We had other issues that couldn't be detected by the first evaluation-a long past rodent problem resulted in chewed up wires that had to be stripped and replaced. Also, we had an undiscovered issue with a corroded connection from where the electricity came from the street and into the house. Steve showed us the issue, which was clearly dangerous, and fixed it for a reasonable fee. The work took longer than he had anticipated, but he didn't stop until the work was done. He came back the next day to finish up, including replacing sheetrock where old boxes had been. Who does that? I recommend him highly. He is courteous, prompt, knowledgable and reliable.
Description of Work: Change out three very old fuse boxes that were tripping.
