When I had called Able moving company to get a quote on my move for furniture from my Mckinney home to a storage unit, I was quoted 3-4 1/2 hours of labor. I was not quoted the mileage fee plus travel time. I was not made aware, the clock starts ticking when they leave there office facility to my home. It was my understanding the clock would begin the time they arrived to the time they finish at the storage unit. Able Moving also charged me for the travel time leaving the storage unit. I found out about this charge when the work was completed. I disputed the charges, and I was given a partial refund. When I spoke to Mrs. Watkins, all should would say it is industry standards to bill this way. I called another moving company and they do not follow the same practice as the Able Moving Company. I agreed to pay for the 3.25 hours of services because they started from 8am to 11:15am plus the 35.00 milelage. I would not recommend them for failing to provide all the details upfront.

Incredibly courteous, on time, safe, and quick. They told us the truck would arrive at 8 AM and there they were - two strong men and a big truck. Everything was very professional. They dismantled the furniture that need to be dismantled, and wrapped everything carefully. Nothing was broken in our move, and they even carried the heavy stuff up the stairs in the new house. I was very pleased with their service and attitudes.

These guys were GREAT! They said they would be at our house between 8 and 8:30 and were there exactly at 8. Very prompt. They were very quick, efficient, and professional, not to mention that they were bringing 17 years of moving experience. They were very careful and skillful with all size pieces in all size spaces. Definitely use these guys for your next move.

ABLE MOVING DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE ESTIMATE WAS ACCURATE, THE CREW ARRIVED ON TIME, AND WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR DAMAGED IN THE MOVE. THEY WERE VERY EXPERIENCED IN HOW TO FIT FURNITURE THROUGH TIGHT AREAS. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE EXTRA SERVICES - HOLDING THE FURNITURE SO I COULD PLACE GLIDERS ON THE LEGS, SETTING UP BEDS, ETC. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HIRE THEM AGAIN. THE PRICE SEEMED FAIR TO ME, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THAT THE TEMPERATURE WAS IN THE HIGH 90'S ON MOVE DAY!

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY MOVERS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE AT 8:00 AM AND THEY GOT THERE AT 8:00 AM. THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. VERY GOOD SERVICE.
