On time, except for one day when worker was sick. Thoroughly professional. Laid paper to protect hardwood floors and carpets. Cleaned thoroughly. Only slight quibble was a minor leak in reinstalling washing machine water pipe.

The huge Memorial Day storm caused a leak in the roof that let in rain water which damaged drywall and ruined the hardwood floors on most of the 2nd floor of our house. Danie - the owner of ZCD Construction - worked closely with our insurance adjuster in making sure all this damage was repaired. The adjuster had assumed we had engineered wood flooring, but Danie determined they were more expensive 3/4" boards and ensured that we received a supplemental amount from the insurance company. We had saved up several other jobs around the house that also needed to be done, so we combined those with the main repairs and Danie handled the whole process and he expertly managed the sequence of multiple tasks which took over a month to complete. Parts of the house not being worked on were protected, for example heavy duty paper was laid down on the stairs to minimize scuffing, plastic sheeting covered furniture, etc. Materials were chosen to match or exceed the quality of those being replaced, and inferior ones rejected. In one example, the hardwood boards received from the yard were not what Danie ordered. Instead of taking the easy way out and using them anyway, he rejected the lot and had the correct wood delivered even though it caused a setback in the schedule of a few days. Danie was on the job site every day and directly supervised his sub-contractors. He kept us informed every day of what had been completed and what was scheduled for the next day - we were very happy with his excellent communication. The end result is fantastic, and we would definitely use ZCD again in the future.

tt the job was done in less than a week it ran smoothly there was obviously alot of dust from removal of old tile, was cleaned up to my satisfaction I was ask to review work daily and give comments etc. space was cleaned and polished and furniture put back in to my satisfaction last review with contractor and final payment

He came on time and move the furniture and remove the carpet, clean the floor. I am very happy with the service.
