"I needed to have the electrical touch panel on my Range fixed or replaced. The guy that came out was friendly & professional however something that was talked about still upsets me. After the man left the house the panel started working again. But I thought I would buy the new one since the old one wasn't exactly reliable. The work cost $870.00 (Panel $659.) to replace the panel & came with a 30 day warranty. I thought that wasn't a long time so I wanted to keep the now working old one. He told me he would have to charge me double if I kept the old one (my part!). It's my belief that the old one, that was working, is going to be tinkered with & resold. I also feel like the guy fed me a line of BS. Why didn't he mention it before the sale made if he was giving me a special price for keeping the old one? Then when trying to call Austonian all you get is an automated voice that has no option that apply; can't speak to anyone. For this reason I'm very unhappy with them & won't use"

"They were very accommodating to My time. They called me immediately and arranged to come the next morning on time. The repair man had a challenging time Moving my refrigerator. He worked slowly and steady apologized for taking so long. My refrigerator stopped working he showed me that the compressor was fine. it was the fan needed to be cleaned. Their price was fair and they told me toward the end what the cost would be. I would definitely recommend them and if I need another appliance fixed I would surely call Them refrigerator stopped"

"David Flores with his smelly crew for starters overcharged some 18K for truly junk work. He installed 2 Trane units plus a carrier mini split and a mini split for my office. David rather than use a stud finder, rather he uses screw drivers any thing to find the beam leaving my custom walls full of holes which he calls cosmetic damage thus will not pay my cost to have the walls repair, close to $600 to me, no joke, these are hand plastered custom walls which was explained to him from the start. My photos will shock you, this was more vandalism...zero respect for my home.. David Flores also doesn't use a leveler, the3.5K carrier mini split was no joke 5plus % lopsided, still, the unit drips like nuts, his attempts to repair this gets worse 3 times now when i call him on it, for over a week he promises 4th attempt to fix it right ... he doesn't show up as promise now nor does return calls as promised. I will have to file a law suit for damages far beyond "cosmetic damages"...my photos tell the whole story, beyond belief really."

"We have a GE refrigerator that has been increasing temperature to 50 degrees intermittently. We had another repairman out in the past that stated he didn't know what the problem was and thus couldn't bill us. We then called Affordable Appliance Repair in Terre Haute. Before the serviceman even came out, my husband asked over the phone if he was qualified to work on GE refrigerators and he said yes. This serviceman was at our home for 2 hours stating he wasn't certain what was wrong but he "thinks it's the control board". He had no diagnostic tools and in particular, nothing to test the board, thus this was his assumption. He suggested we replace the board as he "thinks this is the problem" in which we replied that we are not going to pay to replace something under an assumption. He finally packs up and proceeds to write us a bill for $85 for not fixing a thing. I stated I would be agreeable to paying his gas to show up but he hasn't properly diagnosed or fixed anything. He the states - "well, I want to replace your board but you weren't agreeable so it's not my problem you don't want the item fixed". I pointed out that I could have assumed it was the computer board without calling him and ordered/installed it myself, but I thought I was calling somebody who said he was qualified to diagnose the issue to avoid spending money on unnecessary parts. His answer- well if I replaced the board and that's not the issue, I won't charge you a service call to try another option". To which I said- so you're not going to charge me another service call, but I will continue to pay your for parts until you find the right one ? He just shrugged at this point and continued to write his handwritten receipt charging us $85 for wasting our time and money and fixing nothing. Oh, and his moto on his fb and site is : If I can't repair it, you don't pay!"
