ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS WORK! Can't say enough good things about the AV Team. We are so blessed to have him in town from England.

We really like Robert and his knowledge of all things antennae/wiring was very helpful. After he instlaled the antennae in the attic our TV signal has worked very well, he did everything and we basically just had to pick from the myriad of antennas he had available. We went with his reccommendation and haven't regretted it for a minute. While he was here did more than just install the antennae, he also gave us some good advice on how we could design our media room. We recommend him to anyone looking to install an antennae. We plan to call him again in the future for any of our media room or wiring needs.

He was great. On time and very friendly. He gave us a range in cost depending on what equipment we already had (HDMI, Mounts, etc.). He did exactly what he said he would do.

Based on the good reviews on Angie's List, I contacted The AV Team last week. Robert, the owner, was on vacation but called me back right away to tell me about his services and my options for installing a digital TV antenna in my attic. I could tell right away that I was speaking with someone who knew his stuff. (I found out later that he has 26 years of experience in this business.) He promised to call me the following weekend to see about scheduling me for service after his return. He called on Sunday night to let me know that he could come on Monday afternoon, and I agreed. I texted him late Monday morning to request the time frame, and he told me he'd be there around 1:30. He arrived as scheduled and went right to work. Crawling around in hot attics in Texas on a July day is hard work, but Robert had a cheerful, professional attitude throughout. He finished everything in a reasonable time and presented me with an invoice for the amount we had agreed upon, including an Angie's List member discount. Maybe it's because he's only been in the U.S. for two years, having come to booming north Texas from a depressed job market in the U.K., but he is happy to be here with plenty of work, and it shows. We found him to be friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable, and professional. I don't know how I would have found The AV Team as quickly as I did. I was confident about booking an appointment because of the positive reviews. This experience is a great example of why I joined Angie's List. Thanks to Robert, I get to ditch cable service - AND the cable bill! Now we've got FREE, over-the-air reception on dozens of TV channels, many of them in HD. That savings will exceed the cost of Robert's services in just a few months. I' heartily recommend The AV Team.

Robert is punctual, professional and a pleasure to meet. We called on a Tuesday and Robert was able to come to the house on Wednesday morning. The cost reflects the price for the antenna as well as the digital audio cable. Robert answers all questions, explains what he is doing and gives very helpful information. After installation, he checks to make sure everything is working properly. He also guarantees his work for one year. Very glad he came to Texas from the UK! Would definitely use his expertise again!

Robert called Friday morning to confirm our appt. He showed on time as promised. I had already purchased a receiver however it did not allow for us to have the TV on inside and speakers outside to operate independently in their respective zones. He recommended a Yamaha receiver that was reasonably priced and went and picked it up from his supplier. All work, including trip to pick up new receiver, was done in three hours. He cleaned up as he went and really took the time to make sure I was comfortable with how the equipment worked. Price reflects cost of receiver and speakers. I would highly recommend Robert. He is professional and is able to explain how to operate the equipment in a plain spoken fashion. Plus, he offers a warranty on product and services rendered separate from the standard manufacturer warranty.

Robert was awesome. He hung 3 TVs (32in, 65in, 70in) and 2 sound bars. He also put all the cables inside the wall. I couldn't be happier with the work. It looks great and the price was better than anyone else I got a quote from. Plus, I wasn't home when the work was done. Robert was in the house for a couple of hours with my wife and she had nothing but good things to say. According to her, Robert was personable, nice and a big time family man - needless to say - she was impressed with my choice of installer. I would use Robert six days a week and twice on Sunday. You won't regret using The AV Team.

I contacted Robert on Saturday & explained that my self-installed antenna was not providing the quality of signal that I wanted. He explained my options, showed up the next day & installed my new antenna. Now I have excellent reception and strong signal. Robert was very professional, prompt, & straight-forward. I would recommend him & use him again.

I saw The AV Team reviews on Angies List and had them out to install an HDTV antenna after I cancelled my cable. Robert explained everything over the phone when I called, including prices. He arrived at the appointment time and intstalled the antenna in my attic. Reception with the antenna was very clear, however the next evening I noticed I would lose my signal for a few seconds when an aircraft flew over. I must be in a flight path to Love Field. Robert came back out and moved the antenna in various directions but that didn't solve the airplane interference. Robert then brought out a another antenna and tested it out on my roof rather than the attic. Robert was very patient and honest throughout the process. It turned out that the issue was likely the tuner in my TV that was causing the loss of signal for the few seconds an airplane flew over rather than the antenna. Robert made completlely sure it was not an antenna issue and came out to my home three times to try possible solutions. He went above and beyond what was expected to make sure everything was working correctly. Im happy with the clear signal and I would definitely recommend this company and I would use it again. I'm even happier that I no longer have to pay a cable bill!

I had an antenna on the roof that had been there for 18 years. It had turned, the mast was slightly bent , and a mounting bracket was loose on one side. Robert and I decided that a new antenna would be the best course of action for a long term solution. He removed the old and very large antenna, and replaced it with a new Winegard antenna that was half the size, along with all new mounting hardware and new coax cable. He ran the cable into the house and connected it. We had a strong signal once again. It should be good for another 20 years. Robert was very professional and efficient. I would not hesitate to use him again. I recommend his services for anyone with TV or home theater needs. He arrived on time, was extremely likable, and gave me upfront pricing. He is not pushy about selling anything, and only gave options, with me making decisions about what I wanted him to do. Give him a call.

Robert was very professional through out the process including quick follow up on my messages to wearing shoe covers when he was in the house. I really appreciated the fixed price quote that he provided. The house had some challenges for him but he resolved them and although it took longer that what was normally expected, he honored the fixed price. The picture looks great and I'm glad to be rid ofthe cable bill.

Robert was easy to get in touch with. Even though it's a week before Christmas, he was able to set a time for the installation. He even called me when he had a cancellation, and came out four days early! He gave me a quote over the phone, of $150-$300, depending on what all he would have to do. He didn't want to give me a low quote, and then have to raise the price, since he had not seen the actual project. He gave me his professional opinion during the installation, but still let me make the decisions regarding the location of the bracket, TV, and cords. He was courteous, professional, and prompt! He guaranteed the work for one year. I will not hesitate to call him again, when the need arises.

Called Robert during bad weather and we scheduled time a few days out. Robert was very direct and honest from the first call. Quoting ballpark prices on service to make sure we didnt waste time. He offered a free estimate but also informed me he could provided his services on the spot should we decide to proceed. My initial call was for an attic installed OTA HD antenna. I had other small items that had been bugging me for a year plus but the goal was to get the TVs more reliable reception. Robert called the day prior to confirm and was on time the day of the appt. He came in to see the scope of the project, take signal readings, etc. I also showed him some side jobs he might be interested in. We agreed on the most powerful antenna even though he offered two types with all the advantages and disadvantages. He never tried to up-sell me and was very educational in his conversation. He installed the antenna and ran cable to make the system work. Robert was able to get two of three televisions to work as desired and the third was a problem due to a builder issue. Nothing he could do to resolve that issue but he did offer some suggestions. Robert also went ahead with fixing my sub cable and volume control boxes. He identified the issue and offered to just let me do the re-wire however I went ahead and asked him to complete the work at his hourly rate. Overall we are very pleased with Roberts professionalism and work. The only reason he has a B in price is because to me an A is inexpensive. I didn't find his prices out of line high or an extreme value, but well priced for the quality of work done. I will be calling Robert again for any future AV needs and will recommend him to friends and family.

I contacted Robert one afternoon for a quote on the installation. He returned by call within 20 minutes and we discussed my plans. I let him know I had already purchased an antenna, at which point he gave me some very straighforward information and pricing on the job, some obviously knowledgeable answers my questions, laid out some possible approaches we could take. He was very easy to work with in finding a mutually agreeable appointment time. When the day arrived, he called an hour or so ahead of time to let me know he would be a few minutes late due to his prior job running slightly over schedule - very considerate and certainly understandable. When he arrived, after looking at both antennas I decided to go with his suggestion and bought the type he sells due to its smaller size and high quality. He was very thorough, and performed the work rapidly after we got past that decision. He went to the trouble of connecting and checking out the antenna's reception before completing the job - another smart step in the process. The results were very good and very much in line with what he had projected - he is very familiar with this sort of job, and what the outcome is likely to be depending on location within the city. I will most definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking for the services he provides, and will very likely turn to him again.

Rob is excellent at what he does. He's been doing this for a LONG time. He doesn't BS you on the price..you'll know everything upfront. He comes on time, provides a great service, and you won't be surprised at the bill at the end. Our TV's look great! Highly recommended!

I contacted Robert because I needed an outdoor antenna installed to receive local HD stations. I had tried indoor antennas without success because I am too far away from towers (about 35 miles). Robert came to my house and provided a free quote and signal strength test. After I accepted the quote, he installed an antenna in my attic in about an hour and a half. I was actually surprised that I receive a better picture with the installed antenna than I do with Verizon Fios. I can now pick up all the major local stations (and nearly all of the minor stations as well) with crystal clear quality. Here are some of the reason I would recommend The AV Team: * Only high quality components are used. A Winegard HD7697P antenna was included in the package price. I previously researched antenna reviews and this antenna is one of the highest rated on the market ( List price $169.95) * Install customized to your specific needs. Robert took the guesswork out of what I needed for my location. After running some tests, he knew exactly what I would need, and did not try to sell me extra equipment. Included in the quote, at my request, was antenna access for two additional TVs. * Responsiveness/Punctuality/Professionalism - My initial call was answered promptly and we set up an appointment for the next day. Robert arrived at the agreed upon time, and was able to answer all questions that I had. The job was completed within 24 hours of my initial call.

Everything was great. Robert was in and out in less than an hour. The price was exactly what he quoted me on the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, he was able to explain the inner workings of both my antenna and TV. He even went a bit further to physically mount the antenna in the attic.

I bought my house in Frisco in May and installed an outdoor antenna myself, taking advantage of a satellite dish base that was already in the house. My neighbor's house is a 2 story blocking my reception line from the Dallas TV stations, so I had to put a 5 feet mast to get Fair-good signal in all the channels with the exception of CBS, which I could only get weak signal occasionally at night. After not being able to watch the Broncos vs Giants Sunday game I decided I needed to do something to get that CBS channel going in my TVs. I called the AV team in the morning requesting a quote for the installation of an outdoor antenna amplifier. Robert gave me an estimate, but told me that he would like to see the antenna setting to see what other options I could have. I took a late appointment that same day. After testing and explaining to me why the amplifier would not work (cannot amplify no signal :), Robert proposed to move the antenna to a different location on my roof with higher elevation and no obstruction from my neighbors house. He tested the antenna in the new location first and once I saw everything worked perfectly he went ahead and moved the antenna(moved the base, run the cables, secured them, etc) Now I get good-Perfect signal in all channels Wooo hooo! I am very impressed by Robert's knowledge and customer service attitude. I will definitely hire him again and recommend him to my friends!

WOW.....impressed with Robert (owner) and his +20 years of installing all types of antennas. VERY professional, called the day before to confirm appointment, then called ahead the next day after finishing last call giving an arrival time. Also, after finishing discussed several options on how to lower TV reception costs, all very realistic (also....a VERY NICE PERSON) I feel that I had made a great selection.

Robert came to our house and accessed our needs for an antenna. He is very professional and was prompt. He is very knowledgeable about his trade. His estimate had no extra fees or charges and was as quoted when he finished his work. Work was done in a timely and clean manner. He programed all TV's and made sure we knew a how to operate them. Talked to us in laymen's terms and not too technical. He installed and programed digital to analog converter box that we purchased ourselves and didn't charge us anything extra.
