Safe Pro Pest Termite and Rodent Control

One of their specialties is that they use one of the organic, non-toxic and child safe kind of stuff. They are always punctual, professional and do a very good job of keeping the critters at bay. They not only come and spray/deal with pests, but they talk with us about things we can do to prevent future issues. The techs are always super about wearing shoe coverings and being really careful and clean in their work. Their scheduler (Suzy) is always so pleasant to deal with and overall we just really love this company. We'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Alan arrived right on scheduled time. He was extremely professional and explained in details the process of how he would be inspecting our home both inside and outside for insects.In addition he explained what type of insects he would be looking for. He also had me walk him around the inside of home and point out where and what type of insects we had seen recently. Alan spent almost 3 hours at our home (2300 sq ft home/zero lot line). When he completed he came back inside and explained in detail what exactly he had found. They were great! Alex, the owner, came out the first time to do the inspection. I was so thankful that he was honest and let us know that what we had discovered were just swarming ants (who knew ants could fly) and not termites! There was absolutely no pressure to do a full termite treatment (our house is only 5 years old). He did give me a price quote for the service, which I appreciated, so I know in the future what to expect. A few days later Allen came out and performed a thorough interior and exterior initial treatment. He got rid of all of the mud daubers and stinging insect nests. He also cleaned out all fascia crevices and double checked even our fence for termite damage. He gave us some great tips to help prevent future termites and best of all, got rid of 2 black widow nests in our garage! What a relief.We just recently got back from vacation to find a giant ant mound had formed in our back yard and when I called they were able to send someone out the same day to treat it. They are all very friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We had noises in the attic and needed expertise to not only get rid of the pests, but keep the pests out of our attic. Alex was very thorough - he provided all the details I needed, answered every question, and inspected the attic and the house. Alex, Nick, and Ben did an outstanding job. On the return trip they found that the traps had worked and the steps they took to keep pests out of the house were working. This is an organization I highly recommend. They knew exactly what to do and did a great job! I believe that our pest problem was corrected so quickly because of their expertise and attention to detail.

We had a bad problem with ants in our kitchen. The Safe Pro technician identified several nests under rocks and around planters outside the kitchen window. After treatment we have yet to see a single ant. He did a general treatment inside and out and we have been very satisfied with the results.

You can also skip inside spraying but price is same. We did require one follow up treatment for ants a few weeks later. They came out promptly and took care of it free of charge since all work is warranted. They have been very professional and reliable. I have also recommended them to several close friends.

Alan from Safe Pro was very professional and on time. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he would thoroughly inspect my house for all insects. I was also very impressed to see Alan with a brush removing bee hives and cocoons I have never seen a exterminator service do that before. I thought that was really nice. As for price I decided to go with a 1 year service contract.I paid the initial fee of 140 with my Angie coupon and will pay 80 every quarter. I had been hearing gnawing from time to time above a certain room of our house, and finally decided to contact Safe Pro based on reviews in Angies List. Alex, the owner, arrived right on schedule for the initial inspection and estimate. He was very professional and explained everything that they would do. When he went into the attic, he found evidence of paths across the insulation indicating the presence of some type of rodent. Outside he pointed out several possible entry points for the rodent(s) as well as rat droppings. He explained how they would cover all possible entry points with flashing and paint them to match the house color if I supplied the paint. He also suggesting replacing all of the old stainless wool screens in the weep holes and provided an estimate for the job. He and his crew arrived for the scheduled work appointment and completed the job quickly and thoroughly, then took me around the house to show what was done. They also placed traps in the attic to catch any rodents that were still located inside, and set a date to return and inspect the traps. They then returned twice to check the traps (found one rat), and told me to call them if I heard any further indiciation of activity or experienced a bad smell. He charged exactly what he quoted, applying the discount from Angies List, which was very competitive based on the reviews I found of other similar companies in the area. I am extremely pleased with Safe Pro's service and would hightly recommend them to others.

Safe Pro rep. arrived on time, did a great inspection of my roof. Wrote up a service invoice for estimated cost up front so, I would know what to expect. Placed the trap over the hole where the squirrels where getting into the attic. Less than three hours later, the trap had caught two squirrels. They quickly came to retrieve the squirrels and reset the trap. After 3 days, no other squirrels were caught. They fixed the hole and repainted the area so it is not noticeable at all. They did a great job. They also fixed entry points into the attic where other squirrels could of gotten into.

Alex first inspected my home and I found him to be very professional. Later, two of his employees (Nick and Ben) came to treat the house. They were on time and seemed to do a thorough job. Alex came to the home when they were done and encouraged me to ask questions about the treatment. I thought the pricing was fair, and they even applied a coupon from their website without any prompting.

The technician (Alan) called first and showed up at the agreed time. I explained to him about the ongoing problem with ants infesting numerous areas around the front and side of my home, including window frames, doorways, and along sidewalks. He did an extremely thorough job treating every room in my house plus the entire perimeter. Alan did not appear to be rushing at all, but rather ensuring that a quality job was performed. He even went as far to turn over large rocks in the flower beds and treated under those. I did agree to a multi-treatment plan and I already have a sense of relief that I won't be battling ants any longer.

Alex came out quickly, did a basic scout of the situation, and gave me action plan options, along with what the cost would be. He & his team came out immediately & set to work sealing up points of entry (with metal sheeting), setting traps, doing a more thorough assessment of where exactly the rats were in my attic, garage, yard, and checking for evidence of entry into my living spaces. They are serious about their work, and serious about eradication of vermin. They gave me excellent education on changes they recommend during the extermination process. Their maintenance plan is surprisingly affordable & reasonably priced, so, considering the benefits, I did sign up for that. They guarantee their work, and are very confident in their success rate, so why wouldn't I want that team keeping my home rat-free? Safe-Pro was recommended to me by a friend i've known since childhood, so I trusted that recommendation in addition to the Angie's List reviews. Some might feel that the cost was high, but i had a pretty bad & chronic infestation; I actually thought it was going to cost more. Due to the high level of city public works construction projects in my neighborhood: sewage line work, greenbelt work, plus lots of homes that had been sitting empty are starting to have work done on them - well, the rats were looking for a new home. And I just didn't pay attention to the telltale signs of how much rattage was going on. that is another thing Alex helped educate me on - many of the signs of rat presence (besides rat pills). I most definitely recommend these guys.

On Thursday evening, the 26th, we noticed what looked like a termite or flying ant crawling up the wall in our living room. We then saw quite a few more in our laundry room. We knew both swarm this time of the year and were hoping they were ants, as they thought of termites was quite daunting. I called and left Safe Pro Pest a message on their machine, as it was after hours. The next morning, they called me at 8:10. I was immediately impressed with their quick response. Though Alex (the owner) didn't think he could get out to my house that day (Friday, the 27th), he asked me to email him pictures of the bugs to determine if they were ants or termites. He called me within 15 minutes of sending the pics. Unfortunately, they were termites. Not at all what we wanted to hear. At that point, Alex said he would try and get out to our house that afternoon -- which he did! After his inspection/evaluation, he took time to sit down with me and explain my options and his estimate. I sincerely appreciated his patience. I felt he had my home's best interest in mind at all times. After our mild winter, I knew they would be incredibly busy; however, I never felt rushed or pressured or panicked. And the best part of all? Alex and his service manager, Nick, graciously worked us in so my home could be treated that afternoon! The peace of mind I have now after using Safe Pro Pest was worth every dollar spent. They were professional, polite, prompt and fast -- the actual treatment took no time at all! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again. They just gained a new loyal customer today!

We contacted Safe Pro as a result of reviews here on Angie's list once we noticed "swarming" insects inside our home. Upon their arrival, Alex (owner) examined the sample insects I had captured and immediately said they were flying ants, not termites. I was greatly impressed with his honesty given the area termite plague we are experiencing and my fear that we were facing expensive termite treatment.. Safe Pro then treated both the inside of our home and the exterior where the ant colonies were established under our landscaping rocks. Throughout the visit Safe Pro's folks were polite, knowlegable, and went the extra mile to explain to me what they were finding and how they were handling the problem. In this day and time, it is refreshing to find a company that shows up when promised, is respectful of your property, communicates well and is completely honest. I have no reservations at all using Safe Pro again and referring them to my friends and family!

I called SafePro from their Angie's List recommendation. Spoke to owner for a while about the saw dust pile and my concern over the possibility of ants in the garage/house. He discussed with me first the various insects which are a danger to houses and their indicators. He gave options for how to approach the problem and we decided on the option of a one-time spray of the house for $125 after a confirmation of what the insect was. He showed up on time, confirmed his hunch and cut the original estimate down to $75 price - but did more for that price than he even told me. It was very positive and helpful experience, and I would definitely call Alex for his knowledge and for charging me less than I expected and providing better service than I expected.

Alex was great to work with. I received a confirmation call the day before he came out. On the 9th he did a thorough perimeter walk, found termites and showed me their mud tunnel. He treated that area and returned a few days later to complete the job. Very personable and professional. I highly recommend Safe Pro.

NOT GOOD - when people dont respond to an inquiry, either they dont care or are incompetent.

I found them on Angie's List. The first day Alex, the owner of the company came out and confirmed that we did have termites. He patiently answered our many questions and pointed out where the termites were infested; he told us what had to be done to treat for termites. Then he gave us an estimate and honored the $200 off Angie's List coupon and explained his whole program including the warranty and warranty renewal after the first year. We had gotten another estimate from another good company that we found on Angie's List; they were also impressive but did not seem as knowledgeable as Alex, who has been doing this business for 12 years. This built a trust relationship with us and we felt he would take care of us. He came in a couple of days later with two of his workers and did the job within two hours. He did everything he said they were going to do; the only problem I had is that it had rained the day before and it was quite muddy so they did not clean everything like I expected. They did wear footies but some of the mud came through the footies so we had to clean that up after they left but that was the only glitch. I will use them again in the future.

ABC's business seems to stop running if the owner is out. Their web site generated errors in sending email to them. My call was returned promptly. That sounds like a positive, but what I was informed on the call is another experience (a) the owner is out for some days, (b) that ABC is so good and their reviews are so good that they cannot respond for several days, and (c) that they challenge me to find any vendor that can respond in less than a week to even provide an estimate/first visit. I was disinterested in engaging down the path the person took me.

Arrived ontime with 15 min prior to arrival phone call as requested by me. Alex and Nick were polite, professional and looked EVERYwhere for insects and in other places that I requested where they'd been seen. Also interior/exterior termite inspection. Instructions for post treatment in regards to pets. Additionally they warranty for 30 days post treatment if you see more insects.

We had squirrels in the attic. I called Safe Pro and they found a number of holes near the roof where the squirrels probably gained access. They sealed off all the holes except one, then placed a trap over the remaining opening. The next morning, it had caught one. They came out and removed that squirrel and replaced the trap. It remained for a week but no other squirrel was captured. The weather had been getting warmer and we've assumed that squirrel was out of the attic when the trap was set. It's now been almost 3 weeks and we've heard nothing else in the attic so it looks like all the squirrels are gone.

I called Safe Pro and told them that we had a squirrel living up in our attic. They arranged a time to come by and inspect our home. They arrived on time and were friendly and professional. They walked through our attic, our roof and around the whole house. They found two entrances that had been created by the squirrel. They closed one off and put a trap on what appeared to be the main entrance. After about three days of no activity, the squirrel finally came out. It actually turned out to be three young squirrels. Somehow, all three squirrels ended up in the trap at the same time, which actually saved me money. Since Safe Pro charges for each removal, I ended up with a 3 for 1 deal! I called Safe Pro, they came by the next morning and picked-up the trap and took the squirrels to another location many miles away. They reset the trap in case there were additional squirrels. After several days of no additional activity they came and removed the trap and sealed the remaining entrance. Overall, it was a very good experience. It couldn't have turned-out better. Safe Pro was very friendly, professional, and efficient. I'd recommend them to anyone.
