Safe Pro Pest Termite and Rodent Control

Overall I was very pleased with the entire company. I have sense had them back to do quarterly check ups on the outside of the house.

SafePro came out, assessed the situation, examined my entire roof area for entry points, closed off all entry points, set a trap for the squirrel's and once they captured them, released them into the wild elsewhere. When they were done, they temporarily fixed the damage / opening where the squirrel's were coming and going then recommended a good roofing company, one of their partners, to come out and permanently fix that area. The price I paid above includes the price I paid for the final roof repairs. I paid about $800 for the squirrel removal and another $500 for repair of the roof. My biggest issue was that the original builder did a very poor job of joining the roof slopes at this point and that's how the squirrel's penetrated the attic. I would use these guys again and would recommend them to anyone needing help with any rodent removal.

Safe Pro came out and did a careful evaluation. They explained clearly the nature of the problem and offered a reasonable and permanent solution. They took the time to explain how they planned to deal with the issue. Their workmanship was excellent. The crew was very friendly, arrived on time and the work was completed to our satisfaction. They continue to monitor the issue with return visits until the rodents were gone. They were flexible about scheduling return visits, showed up when they said they would and were always neat and professional. No one likely to deal with this kind of problem. They made the process as easy and painless as possible.

My experience with this company was excellent. I bought a 20 year old home. I was concerned about the potential for any insects and pests in my residence, so I called Safe Pro Pest to take a look and let me know what I needed to do. Safe Pro Pest was very polite over the phone. They scheduled Nick to come out and look at my house. They were flexible with their timing. Nick came out to our house on time as scheduled. Since I was curious about what he would find, I asked if I could tag along as he went through the house. He was happy to show me what he was looking for. We went through every square inch of the house, inside and out. Nick was thorough, and thankfully, we did not have any pests or insect issues with our house. Nick was professional and friendly. Even though he spent a lot of time inspecting our house, Safe Pro Pest did not charge me for anything. Nick recommended several options to keep my home pest free. The pricing was very reasonable, and I will likely have Safe Pro Pest do some preventative work for me in the near future. Nick did not give me a hard sell, which I really appreciated. He simply gave me his recommendations, let me know what I should be careful about, and gave me good suggestions. He was very nice and pleasant to deal with.

Alex and Sean came to my house at the scheduled time. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They checked the attic and also did an interior and exterior check for any pest issues. They informed me that my house didn't have an infestation in the attic and that it was overall in pretty good shape from a pest control point of view. It appears that before I purchased the home it was treated for termites. While there was no current issue with termites other than a cold termite tube, I did ask Safe Pro to provide an estimate for termite control just in case. They provided me with a very reasonable estimate, we shook hands and that was it. There was no pressure to provide a service, no charge for their sweep of my house or for the knowledge they gave me. It's hard to find a company like this nowadays. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and I will be taking them up on their termite services in the near future.

Very good experience. Very polite and covered in detail work to be preformed and all costs. $1615.00 did not include the 3 month checks, which is $40.00 per check, but worth it because of rat infestation in area.

They were great. Alex (I hope that it right) came and looked at our house. He informed us that he could put bait boxes our for the rats but at this point they would just go under the house and die and stink everything up. Even though it cost him money he suggested that we only proceed with the flea and insect treatment and wait on the rats. He recommended that we put out cheap traps and just try to manage it ourself until we are able to get a contractor to seal up the house. He even offered to come out and meet the contractor to let them know what they would need to do to seal it up. A Great Company.

We have used Safe Pro before as a one-off and now signed on for the annual contract with them. Every interaction with their staff, be it the office (Susie I believe) for appointment scheduling or the technician (Alan) has been nothing short of extraordinary. I received all necessary information over the phone, booked an appointment & got a call the day before the appointment as a reminder/to check if the day/time was still good. Susie was extremely helpful, courteous and just a pleasure to speak with. The technician, Alan, came on time & took the time to explain 'pest basics' to me, detailing what he'll be doing and what I should be looking for to keep pests in check. They have a 30 day warranty on their one-off treatments, which I've called in as we still had a few ants that came in. Alan came back shortly before my 30 days were over, re-did the treatment - again in a friendly, helpful manner, without ever giving me the feeling that I shouldn't have called him back. At that time, I didn't sign up for the contract, and therefore couldn't use the Angies List voucher. When I now called them back to sign up for the contract (all the ants were gone from the last treatment, but spiders kept coming back), he deducted the 50$ from the voucher without me even asking for it, reducing the 1st treatment from 185 to 135$. I've been more than pleasantly surprised by that, as technically, I'm not a new customer anymore and I assumed I wouldn't get the rebate anymore now. How their contract works: Each quarterly treatment will now be 85$ and they have a 90 day warranty, i.e. I could be calling them as often as needed without ever paying more than the quarterly 85$. And I know they wouldn't make me feel bad about it. They obviously see it as their job to get RID of the pests, even if it takes multiple treatments - not only to be at a house and PERFORM pest control! Both Safe Pro staff I spoke with did NOT try to sell me more than I needed. They even suggested a 'wait and see' approach to a potential rat problem, as they suspect it was a one time visitor and not an infestation. They could have tried to up-sell a full fledged rat extermination - but they thought it wasn't necessary yet and told me so. I appreciate such customer orientation and honesty and cannot recommend them highly enough!

The technician did a thorough inspection followed by treating all areas inside and outside. He even went so far as to show me an extremely large ant hill that had built up inside a brick pile. Since we had just moved into the property, we were unaware this was present. The technician was extremely thorough and considerate during the entire time he was at our property. We have signed a contract with SafePro and look forward to their excellent service.

They were prompt & professional in providing an estimate, and were the same when actually doing the work. Other pest control firms wanted significantly more money to apply the same chemicals that Safe Pro applied. They did break one sprinkler head in doing the termite treatment, but after notifying them, they were out the next day to repair the head. We were happy.

We've used pest control services in the past and quit about a year ago to save a little money. About 2 weeks ago, on a night after a big rain, we noticed some tiny flying bugs inside our house, swarming around a couple lamps as we were going to bed. So of course, I came to Angie's List to search for a new pest control service. We've switched to green cleaning products in our home, so I was specifically looking for a pest control company that was toxic to BUGS but as non-toxic and safe for people as possible! That was the first reason I chose Safe Pro Pest, but the second was the great reviews! My first contact was with Susie in the office. She is VERY warm, professional, friendly & helpful! I described the scenario and told her our # 1 concern was to make sure these little bugs with wings were NOT termites. (After studying it online, my husband was sure that these were not termites but some kind of little flying ant). We needed to determine if they were termites or not, because she could not quote me a price for treatment at that point. If they were termites, of course the treatment would be more expensive. I loved her suggestion -- I got out my magnifying glass and took a picture of one of the bugs and e-mailed it to her. Susie had the owner of the company, her son, look at the picture and determine that these were rover ant swarmers. So we knew that day what we were dealing with. We scheduled our first treatment for a couple of days later. Nick was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable! He asked a lot of questions and explained a lot to us. He was very careful to do a THOROUGH job of treating both the inside & outside of the house. We live on a wooded property and he noticed we have a lot of different kind of ants on the property. He also helped us figure out what we'd been hearing in the attic - rats -- and put out rat boxes too. Even though it takes 7 - 10 days for the treatment to fully work (i.e. kill the bugs), we noticed more ants inside the house so we scheduled another treatment today, which was 2 weeks after the initial treatment. Nick treated again and checked the outside & inside of the home again (at no cost) and said there were no signs of all the trails of ants as there were a couple weeks ago, so the treatment is working! I'm so glad we decided to sign up for the quarterly service so we can keep these critters under control. Also, Susie will call ME when it's time to schedule our quarterly appointment - very helpful since I have "mommy brain"! We are very happy with Safe Pro Pest and recommend them highly to all of you! One, they are a family business and I like supporting them. Two, LOVE the non-toxic treatment as it's safer for our home & family. And three -- it's RARE to find people who are knowledgeable, take the time to explain AND take great pride in a job well done! Thank you!

They always call the day before to make sure its OK to come to the house. They have done a great job in 2012 since I started using the firm.

We've had a lot of problems trying to get rid of our carpenter ant problem for a long time, so we finally made contact with Safe Pro after doing a lot of research. When we made contact with the company, the owner decided to come and check out our problem himself because of the severity we described. He was on time and very professional, and he answered all our questioned, and his work came with a thirty day warranty, which we appreciated, since carpenter ants can be very difficult to get rid of. He carefully sprayed and dusted, and explained how to best care for our home and yard to help prevent future problems. Ants were going nuts everywhere after he applied his pesticides; you could hear their death throws in the walls. He personally came back when we still saw a few ants about two and a half weeks later to respray. We have had no problems since. Safe Pro did a great job for our home!

Safe pro was amazing. First I called on a Saturday and they got back to me first thing Monday morning. So prompt. The owner Alex called me and even on short notice got me in for exactly when I wanted. We are having a major west Nile issue here in dallas so timing for me was everything. But then I met Alex and he was great Easy to talk to and share my concerns and what I wanted. I wanted more services but he was careful to explain I might be overdoing it and he did not want to take advantage How awesome. In addition to the great service and results, Alex checked other areas of my house to show where we could have future mosquito problems and proceeded to call each vendor for me and help me set appointments as needed. I could not be more pleased, will use safe pro again and again and would recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I are from Mexico and we just bought a house here in Texas. Being from Mexico we really didn't know much about termites but my wife found some little holes in the ceiling. She thought the house had termites so we called Alex. He did a full inspection of the house for termites. Thank God he did not find anything, and even better he did not charge us for that inspection. I was really pleased with his professionalism and he really knows his business. He is really easy going... and fluent in Italian, so I may even get to practice my Italian lessons with him.

I checked Angie's list for a pest control company. I read several reviews and thought I would call Safe Pro. I got an answering machine so left a message and received a phone call back within an hour. I told her what I needed and she explained everything to me and answered all my questions. They were about five days out, which I didn't mind, so went ahead with setting up a time for them to come out and take care of things. The day they were to come out I received a phone call that they were on the way. They were on time and did an awesome job. Its comforting when people do what they say they are going to do......I will recommend them to all my friends, family and neighbors!

We have used Safe Pro for pest control services since March 2010. They have always been responsive to our needs, coming next day to clear wasp nests, etc. This visit was to spray after we found a black widow spider under the waterfall to our pool. They came next day at no extra charge to spray. We have a quarterly exterior service and monthly mosquito treatment. No complaints.

Our business had been using another pest control service prior to Safe Pro, and they just weren't getting the job done. I called Safe Pro specifically because of their rating on Angie's List. Alex promptly returned my phone call and was upfront about the volume of business Safe Pro already had scheduled, and the two week waiting period for a consultation. I appreciated his candor as it would have been just as easy for him not to return my call; after months of dealing with our office guests, two more weeks weren't going to hurt anyone. Alex showed up right on time for our appointment and after a walkthrough of the office, was able to quickly pinpoint the location of the problem. He was very patient and thorough in his explanation of the steps that needed to be taken to eradicate the bug infestation. The treatment plan didn't just include spraying along the baseboards, but included foaming, dusting, and sealing various points of entry around all the plumbing and ceiling as well. Alex gave realistic timelines on when our business could expect to see results from the treatment plan he had outlined, and was confident we'd be happy with the results. The bug problem was so prevalent that they had just become part of the scenery. Fast forward 10 days post-treatment and to say that we're thrilled would be an understatement. The difference has been night and day. The biggest problem area has had ZERO bug traffic since the initial treatment. As busy as he is, Alex could have simply treated our business and then gone on his way to another customer. Instead, he took the time to follow up and see how things have been going since his visit, and offered to come out to our office again if I had any questions to follow up the treatment. One of the things that impressed me most about Alex and Safe Pro is that they didn't try to add on a bunch of unnecessary services just to drive up the bill or lock you in to an extended contract. Alex told me that after the initial treatment, we should only have to have them out to spray once every quarter. Music to my ears considering that our previous provider came out monthly and still didn't treat the problem. It was definitely worth the wait, Safe Pro has performed nothing short of a miracle!
