After getting quote, went through process to get fence put on contract, but had a 2 month lead time. I was upset because they failed to let me know when I started the bid process.

Great looking fence that has held up it's appearance this entire time. The only complaint I have is that we discovered a minor issue on one part of the fence that needed to get fixed and it was never actually done. The cut job on the fence located between mine and our neighbors house was poorly done and looked like something a beginner would do with a hacksaw. This was a small part of the fence that was built and it was a cosmetic complaint. We called the owner a couple of times and were told that someone would be coming back out to fix it and no one ever came. It was on a part of the fence that was really out of view so we didn't push the issue (although we should have) and just let it go. Overall, for the price we paid compared to other quotes, we really got a good deal on a good looking fence. I give it a B because customer service really goes a long way with me and I don't like when a company says they will do something and then never does it.

Weather and materials availability delayed start a week, but did a good job. When installing the metal post, they did hit a sprinkler line but repaired it right away. They started on a Friday, came back late Saturday morning and worked rather late on Saturday. Asked them to finish on Monday so as to not disturb our neighbors on Sunday. Materials seemed to be of good quality and they were creative with the gate. Arch trim and top were finished rather nicely. We were pleased with the job which was competitively priced with the materials chosen.

Even though the fence looks nice, the workers busted a water sprinkler pipe during the process. I didn't noticed it until a week or so later. The owner said that was not covered until the contract so he would not be held liable. Needless to say I have to now get the pipe repaired. Therefore, I will not use FENCE USA for any future fence work.

He was a little pricey. It was a good quality work. We really did have to keep on them to finish up the finally little pieces. Their responsiveness was a little lacking. The final product was very good.

The fence was installed in October 2008 and looks great. The service was great at the time of installation. However, the electric gate to our fence repeatedly stops working. Therefore our new expensive fence is completely pointless due to there being access to the back of the house because the gate is wide open. The electric gate was over $5000. It has been over a month with the gate wide open. We have a 1 year warranty on the fence and gate. At the time of installation, the sales rep assured us any problems would be taken care of promptly. We have made repeated calls to Fence USA to come fix the gate. They very rarely call us back and when they do, they say they will be out "soon". I am extremely frustrated with this company as their customer service is horrible. We are considering filing a DTPA action soon. My family's safety is compromised due to this company not correcting the problem with its product and adhering to its contract.

The salesman was great. The installers were stellar. They did a gorgeous and professional job. We have a fence that is far nicer than we expected. We've 100% satisfied with the actual work. Unfortunately the owner, Ivan Gassman, and the person who answers his phone were rude and unprofessional. We were not notified when work would begin, and when the work crew was told not to come to finish the job one day, the phone person did not let us know. She said that we would have to call her to find out if they were coming. She was right--she never contacted us about things we needed to know. (1) On the first day the installers showed up while we were at work because the phone person didn't call us, and it wasn't possible for them to start work without someone there. (2) Our old fence was torn down the next day and the installers said they could finish it the following day, but the boss told them to go do a different job instead, and we had to go an extra day without a fence for our dogs. Ivan Gassman, the owner, said that wasn't his problem because the contract says they don't have to show up every day. My husband missed a day of work waiting for the installers on a day when the boss told them to go to a different job instead of finishing our fence. Basically Gassman didn't care about getting the job done on consecutive days and felt another client was more important. He didn't have a problem with my husband missing work and not being notified that the workers were being sent to a different job. We have two more phases on this job and will not be using Fence-USA. It's a shame because the installers were excellent. I wish we could hire them without hiring the company!

We were pretty satisfied with the work. The only thing was that they removed and hauled away the old fence without letting us know. It was hard to get them out to complete the final touch-ups on the new fence.

There were two crews that came out. The first one quickly removed the old fence and installed metal pasts about 30 inches into the ground. They were so fast that they completed there part in about a day. They had to come back to dig through concrete to put in the last post. They stayed until it was dark the first day and almost finished. They worked until it got dark and returned the next morning. Whenever there was a question about how I wanted the fence to look I would get a call from the foreman. They were expecting the second crew to show up the second day, but actually showed up a couple days later after the weekend. When they got started it was also quick. There was a lot of fence to put up and they moved through it like a well oiled machine. I then arranged to meet with Ivan again to go over the work. Ivan noticed a few things that were not done to his liking. He had them come back to put a fourth hinge on both gates and do a little touch up on the stain. I would recommend.

First you plan everything out with the owner Ivan (ask for him). We probably got about 6 quotes and these guys were in the middle on price, but by far offered the highest quality materials and craftsmanship that we were looking for(see pics on their website). A foreman runs the job...I forget his name, but he was good and calls you back, etc. The clear cedar was hard to find at the time. When they started, they worked very hard and fast with a crew of about 6 guys. Gilberto was the craftsman that did our custom gates. He is very skilled. We had a little rain delay, but overall I would say they pushed very hard to complete the job asap. These guys do everything heavy duty...the posts are sunk deep, tons of stainless steel ringshank nails used, galvanized hardware, double-posts on either side of every gate....just a very solid fence. The automatic slide gate rail is supported by tons of cement, the framing is 4" thick, the Ramset 1000 is specked for up to 40 feet gates. Heavy-duty.
